The room was very clean, the proprietors kind, the facilities fine, the beds comfortable, the terrace lovely, the location excellent! The water pump sound cranking away all night-keeping us awake until approx 2am (when people stopped using any source of water in the building) and getting us up early (when the first toilette flushed) was a shocking experience. The first night we thought it was a fluke and something odd was happening, but we'd just got in and it was too late to discuss it. The following day we realized it was the banging of the water pump on the roof. Exhasuting. Really---all else was lovely and as described in reviews. That point and not being able to sleep was really rough.

Nice contact to very frendly owners of the hotel. There is a little supermarket close to the hotel which is open even on weekends and late at night which is vey comfortable. The place is in the very old town.

The room was clean, comfortable, compact and situated in the midst of the old city, great for strolling, eating, shopping and sightseeing. The hotel staff were very gracious and went out of their way to be attentive. Free wifi is at the top of my list of needs, so it was frustrating that the wifi was not working for the duration of our stay. This was not an uncommon experience. I wish hoteliers would get the message that if you advertise free wifi, you should ensure that service is reliable.
