The family who owns the pension lives in the next house: they are always there if you need help but leave you alone if you don´t. They offer reliable and free transport from and to the (air-)port, even at odd hours. All rooms have a refridgerator and a balcony - most of them with view to the east coast and sun rise; our mattresses were very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day. There is a kitchen for all guests where you can take dishes and cutlery or do a little cooking. The pool is very clean and spacious for such a small pension. You have to walk about 10 Minutes (uphill) to the bus station and 20 to 30 minutes to Fira. Not luxury but a great place to stay. |

Nice family run hotel. We were received at the port by the owners which was great. Hotel has a cosy atmosphere and a lovely pool. Room was sweet although wished the bathroom had a window or some kind of ventilation. The only other comment is that it is certainly not 15 mins from Fira as stated in the description. The hotel is in Karterados which is around 2.5 kms from Fira and takes 30-35 mins to walk to Fira (around 10 mins from the hotel to the main road) which is not too bad or you can hire a bike. Also, hotels closer to Fira and in Fira are more expensive hence the distance is a compromise. |

very helpfull owners, nice pool, quiet location, 2 min.walking to restaurants, owners can arrange carrental why is the shower curtain always too short in most greek cheap accomodations? Whole bathroom gets wet while showering. |

As already said by most guests, the owners are very nice. Mr George is very sweet and always helpful, his family is also helpful and you can always get someone on the premises for any extra information you may need. The pool area is big and pretty nice, the pool size is quite good and it's a good place to chill. The Livadaros also offer to help with scooter and quadbike rentals which is extremely helpful although there are quite a few places nearby where it is possible to rent from so you may want to check before you actually get it. We did the rental thru the Livadaros and all went smoothly, the only thing is that our quad had no "box" at the back for helmets which turned out to be a bit annoying as we had to carry them around with us!!! As we paid lil money for our stay, we cannot really complain. However, our room was a bit tacky, a lot of ugly decorations (fake flowers and random stuff on the wall lol!) and a bit dirty. I would advise the Livadaros to throw away all this and go for a more basic and neat look. Room furniture and fridge are very old, still do the job though. Bathroom is incredibly small: toilet seat is right attached to the wall and next to the "shower" which has no curtain! Bathroom stinks cos there is no ventilation system and no window!!! The Livadaros make up the bed every day and "clean" the floor although the cleaning is a bit random...some deep cleaning would be highly appreciated!!! Communal kitchen without microwave and only 1 camping stove! Lol |

Large room, nice pool (large and deep), friendly family, very good price, good location 15 minutes walk from Fira and close to supermarket and restaurants. The mattress wasn't very comfortable, the bathroom was quite outdated and some things did not work (bed side lamp, etc) but these are just details. I wasn't expecting any more for this price. |

Excellent base to explore the island. The family is great. Clean, comfortable room with the biggest roof terrace and views of the island. Santorini - Fira a bit of a rip off - daylight robbery in fact. The taverns in Karterdos are great.. 10/10 for Savas - trad greek food. I lost my purse day 1, in Fira, had my key in purse for the Pensions, so was very, very, surprised when I got back from our walk, (a bit miffed that I lost my purse, 300 euro, cards etc) - I was greeted by Maria and her dad, who said that I left my purse at this kiosk, they gave us a lift back to fira and retrieved my purse - nothing had been taken, what a lovely experience, great honest lovely people... Great.. |

The owner and her family was very friendly & helpful, room large clean and comfortable, breakfast good value for money, pool very clean, we were picked up from airport and taken to port at the end of our stay. We will come again and recommend it to friends. The best hotel we have stayed in in Greece and good value for money. |

We had a perfect stay at Pension Livadaros, everything is as described in this site. The owners are models of greek hospitality, very kind and polite, always there to help with anything you need (information, car/bike rental, excursions-activities). Nice clean rooms (cleaned every day). Location is another plus cause its a few minutes walk from bus station and Fira town. I will stay again there and i highly recomend this pension to everyone! |

Very nice and friendly people, picked us up from the port, good service, very helpful as it comes to information about the island, booking trips etc. It was high season and all the better rooms seemed to be booked already, so we had to stay in a room that was meant for three or four people. The room felt like the basement of the owner's house: no light, only one very small window, generally uncomfortable with poor facilities and the deco was just horrible. Considering the price we paid, this was bad value for money. The hotel was also too far from Fira town. |

It was out of the really busy area, but still close to the bus stop. The owners are there everyday and eager to help in any way. We rented a quad from the dealer just up the road with a huge storage box on back and saw the whole island. Pool at the hotel was nice. The only thing that probably needs updating is the pool furniture. But that's about it! |

We have traveled over 20 countries, this pension should be the best stay for everyone go to Santorini. The owner's family are very kind of their customer. I really thank them for picking us up at port for free. And help us rent a motobike in a very good price(it's availabe to pick up and return the bike at this pension). Furthermore I indeed appreciate the owner drove us to get the boat back to Athens in the midnight, and rejet our tips for him( he really takes everyone customer as their friends). I do recommend this pension, and I will choose this pension again when I go to Santorini.Maria, I really like ur beautiful villa and ur family. |

The owners were really friendly, they gave us a free lift from and to the port, they helped us found a cheap motorbike to hire and they were always available, helpful and smily. The room was cleaned every day, there was also a small kitchen available for all the clients, which was nice. We enjoyed the pool area, it was nice and clean. The room was small and dark (even with lights on) and the decoration was extremely old-fashioned. We didn`t actually enjoy our staying in this room, but the day we were leaving, the owners brought new furniture to the most of the rooms, so i hope the rooms will be much better in the future. |

Location was excellent for the cost, Fira is a casual 20-30 minute walk away past useful services such as bike hire, internet places, good cheap food. Barbara and George were extremely accommodating and helpful hosts that will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy Santorini. The pool is great, clean with an amazing view! |

The staff were attentive yet distant enough to let you do your own thing, the rooms were kept clean. I especially liked the fact the the place was moped and cleaned and new fresh towels were provided each day. we didn't have cooking gear in our room, however I am sure if we asked it would have been supplied without a problem |

Actually nothing other than price, so can't complain much. I didnot get hot water the first day and second morning there was no water, it came after complaining. The hotel owner was reluctant to drop me to the port and i had to take a cab. |
