The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very seedy, there were many prostitues in the area and the small street right behind the hotel always had drug addicts injecting themselves after dark! Although we did not feel particularly unsafe, it is not a hotel that a single women should ever consider staying at! |

Helpful staff in a nice setting, even though the streets are all in Greek; they took time off to explain the locations of where I needed to go, no regrets staying there and look forward to return. |

staff very helpful and friendly. the area was a little bit seedy but this is to be expected in an inter city area. felt very safe but would recommend not going out on your own at night. shop and a takeaway were very close to hotel. the bathroom flooded when showering due to it not being a build in shower but this was nothing a few towels on the floor did not solve. |

Very friendly and cooperative staff, location - not far from all main attractions of the city, clean rooms, free Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Ideal for the price. It would be great if the hotel could diversify a little bit too monotonous breakfast. |

Very helpfull and pleasant staff, good money/value rate, clean rooms, suitable location - in short walking distance from main city routes (Omonia Sq.). I suggest to have for breakfast one hot dish. |

Good location, calm quiet room, breakfast was also good enough. The man on reception explained everything and shows the main tourist sights on the map. Excellent value for this money. There are some drawbacks: The shower is very tiny as well as the room. As for room it's ok for night stay but while taking a shower the water goes to the floor and we had to clean the floor after it. |

Stayed there since my usual choice was booked up. A bit cheaper and a bit scarcer facilities than in others I had stayed nearby, however the room was probably actually bigger and better than usually. Breakfast still usable, but probably on the bottom level where it still worth to consider it (very limited choice, but thre still is food). The area may not be considerd the nicest in Athens, but I never have had any prob lems or dislike towards it. |

The hotel was ok for us seeing as we only stayed one night - it was clean, had a bed and a shower but wasn't amazing. It was a small room and quite basic. |

Fast internet, good location, very helpful staff, rooms were comfortable and functional. Folks complaining about the location need to realize that pretty well all of Athens looks a bit scary, but it's actually quite safe. Breakfast ends at 9:30, too early for us to make it most days. |

The hotel is very nice and has a good location. It is very close to the Omonia square, about 10 min walking and about 20 min till Syntagma Square. The staff was very helpful and kind.Breakfast was poor, but enough for us. Good value for money.I would definitely recommend it. The shower was small, but it was ok. |

It is cheap and there is free internet and breakfast provided. The location is not the best but we did not feel threatened or unsage. It is a short walk from the Archaelogical Museum. We started our day there and then walked to the Acropolis and took the metro back at the end of the day. It is only a 5 minute trip on the metro to the Acropolis, Santagma Square and Montrastriki and 20/25 minutes to Piraeus. The metro station is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Our room was on the 7th floor and was quite quiet. The airconditioning worked fine. The breakfast staff were very rude. The breakfast finishes at 9.30am which is quite early by hotel standards. Our flight had been delayed so arrived in very late so more difficult. We got to the breakfast room a few minutes before 9.30am and the breakfast lady tried to stop us getting cutlery etc and was taking food etc away. The room we stayed in was very small and the lift bearly fits two people. There is no safe, the bathroom was tiny and the shower leaks onto the floor as pporly designed. But all in all you get what you pay for. |

The staff at reception were so helpful and friendly, we stayed for 2 nights and then decided to book another night after staying at some Greek islands and were glad we returned to the Pergamos hotel. Would recommend it to anyone as a budget hotel. Good location and room clean and comfortable. |

Price comparing to the location. Breakfast was ok but would have been better with some vegetables. |

The Apollo Hotel is ideally close to the Acropolis and Syntagma Square, in the heart of Athens, within walking distance to many other interesting sites. |
Conveniently located 200 metres from Omonia metro station and very close to the international railway station, this hotel offers excellent value accommodation. |
Boasting magnificent rooftop views of the Acropolis, Cecil Hotel is excellently located in the centre of Athens, very close to all places of interest and provides free wireless internet access. |
We are a delightful, centrally located hotel with 50 rooms, 150 meters from Omonia Square, with central heating, bar and breakfast lounge. All rooms have private facilities. |
