Philoxenia Hotel    

The hotel is in a very good location to see central and even northern Evvia,The staff are very good and the breakfast is as good as anywhere.

The apartment was fine, the breakfast good, the staff friendly. The location suited us fine - 10 kilometers from our relatives with whom we spent the easter.

We were disappointed about the swimming pool which could not be used - the swimming pool was one of the criterion to choose this hotel.

Menu in restaurant was so basic, when they declare "gastronomy restaurant". No hot water for shower.

We went as couple with a 3 year old son. It's a fantastic hotel. Super clean. Very welcoming staff without being annoying. Great installations. Fantastic sea and mountain view. Great location on Eubeia near to very important greek archeological sites (Eretria) and just at 80 Km from Athens. Just 100m away from this most beautiful beach with many restaurants where you can have fresh fish at a very comportable price. It was given to us within a common space a large room with a couple's bed and a fully equiped kitchen integrated in a living room with a sofa-bed. All this for 40€ a night for the 3!. Definitly would go back.

Very large and clean rooms. Close enough to Chalakida.

Breakfast was disappointing. The town of Lefkandi wasn't very attractive.

Breakfast 'hot food' was cold but a very minor complaint

The rooms were very spacious, staff pleasant and informative. The restaurant was also beautifully laid out and the food good and modestly priced and deserved more trade than it received. We used it as a base for Halkida and also explored the hinterland with medieval towers and castles, and the sunken fields left by the excavations of clay for brickmaking.

Given the generously proportioned rooms the bathroom was rather cramped and did not have a hairdryer.

πολύ ωραίο και ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο με ντουλάπες για να είσαι σαν στο σπίτι σου και με μεγάλο μπαλκόνι (ελπίζω ότι όλα τα δωμάτια είναι έτσι!)

1) μου έτυχε δύο φορές κρύο νερό στο ντουζ.. 2) Η πισίνα ήταν εκτός λειτουργίας ελπίζω να τη φτιάξουνε σύντομα.. 3) Το πρωινό σίγουρα χρειάζεται βελτίωση..

"chambre" très spacieuse

J'ai réservé cet hotel pour sa piscine mais elle n'est pas en service. Son éloignement par rapport à la ville. Petit déjeuner correct le dimanche et seulement les restes soit plus rien le lundi

Une suite avec salon et grande chambre, et grand balcon très agréable vue sur mer et montagne. Superbe.

πηγα τυχαια για μια βουτια στο λευκαντι και αισθανθηκα πολυ ομορφα σ'αυτο το ξενοδοχειο μολισ 1 τετραγωνο απο τη θαλασσα, ευγενεστατο προσωπικο.

ωσ μονο ξεν/ειο στο λευκαντι ειναι επαρκεστατο.

Camera molto amplia, pulitissima e impeccabile, con frigo e cucina. Personale sorridente e amichevole. Offerta eccellente per quel prezzo. Internet e parcheggio gratuiti.

Il bagno è accettabile ma non all'altezza della stanza. Le stoviglie sono per 2 persone esatte, qualche pezzo in più sarebbe gradito

Heel erg vriendelijke en behulpzame staf. Iedereen is even aardig. Als eilanders voelden we ons direct thuis. Kamer (appartement) was prima. Een aanrader

De ondertitel van het hotel is:"Gastronomy". Eten is prima, maar niet bijzonder. In het hoogseizoen is het wellicht wat uitgebreider.

Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter. Wit hatten eine Flasche fallen lassen und der Zimmerservice kam sofort. Für unsere Dummheit hatte uns der Manager noch mit einer großen Flasche seines Hausweins entschädigt, sehr großzügig. Unser Studio bestand aus 2 Zimmern, Wohn-/Schlafraum und Küche separat, sehr angenehmt. Wir hatten wohl die größte Wohneinheit, wunschgemäß oberstess Stockwerk und Meerblick, mehr geht nicht - DANKE!
