The location was good, and the free internet worked fine. There was nothing really wrong, but the accommodation is very basic. It is over- priced for what you get. The bed was hard, the towels somewhat hard, and toilet paper very harsh. The shower was so tiny that I didn't even try to use it.

Our stay at Pitho Rooms was an extraordinarily positive experience. The room was meticulously clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and included many choices. The location in relation to the archaeological site is excellent. But what really makes this hotel special are the owners George and Vicki, who are friendly, gracious, and extremely hospitable. They welcome their guests as if they are one of the family. It is clear that they take great pride in their hotel and that Pitho is more than just a business to them. We highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again!

Nice family atmosphere, friendly and helpful host, right in the center of the town, beautiful breakfast. I feel the price is a bit high when it is not a high season 40-45 would be perfect in my opinion.

The owner, George, was very friendly and accommodating. My room was clean, comfortable enough and nicely decorated. It unfortunately did not have a view but the backyard it looked out onto was recently renovated and is the pride of George. Breakfast was good and it is a short walk from Anciet Delphi and the bus station. Nothing really just a comment on the design of the shower which leaks water everywhere.

Hotel was centrally located in Delphi. The staff was fantastic! Clean and well appointed. Modern decor. Shower / no bath. Nice raised hearth fire really added to the cheer. Breakfast was upgraded continental (very satisfying). A+

Great location in the town center within walking distance of the archeological sites. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Professional staff (owner). Room was a bit small. As (too) often in Greece, we were asked to pay for our stay in cash - while officially the hotel accepts credit cards.

This is a charming, small hotel in the town within easy walking distance of the ancient site of Delphi. The proprietors are extraordinarily helpful, even carrying up our suitcases. The rooms are on the small side, but clean, well-designed and tastefully appointed. Our rooms had a charming balcony looking out onto a small, quiet courtyard with flowers. The hotel breakfast room/lounge is really pleasant with large windows. Even though the hotel is too small to offer hot foods at breakfast, the food was tasty and cappuccino available. We wanted to stay here longer! The beds, as in most Greek hotels, are a bit hard. I can imagine that in high tourist season, parking might be a challenge at any of the hotels in the town of Delphi.

Georges was very welcoming, made sure we had a parking spot for our car and was ready to provide any assistance at all. The small inn is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The wifi network was fast and strong - which isn't always the case in other places in Greece. It is a great family run inn adding to a great experience in Delphi. Just park your car and an easy walk to the Delphi ruins. Breakfast was ample and appreciated the cappuccinos! Great place to stay and you can't beat the price!!

Nice basic room. Owner providing good hospitality and assist to park car which can be difficult in Delphi. Good location. Price acceptable. Good breakfast by the owner. Not for you if you are looking for a hotel. This is a room with a family.

The very warm welcome from George and Vicky was great. Also the information on Delphi and the surrounding area that George gave us was interesting;nothing was too much trouble;would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Special double glazing kept out any street noise from our room at night. Parking could have been difficult in busier periods, but as George insisted on carrying our luggage for us, this was not a problem! In any case all of the hotels in Delphi that we could see were on the same street, and there is literally nowhere for a specific carpark in the town, as it is perched on the side of the hill.

Staff was excellent....friendly like a B&B...Right in 'downtown' Delphi,Greece. You can walk to restaurants, shops, bank/atm and Delphi National Monument Museum and Delphi National Monument Archaeological Ruins. Restauants everywhere and mountain/cliffside views fantastic from town (Delphi). Room comfortable and clean with plenty of hot water and clean towels :-) Room was well appointed. Nice courtyard out our 2nd floor room balcony. Excellent value for the money. Breakfast is somewhat limited and not served till 8:30 am. Hotel is on second floor up a flight of stairs from ground level entrance (hotel over owner's gift store), but staff more than happy to carry your bags up and down stairs for you. Parking outside close to the hotel on the main street through town can be a challenge as there are lots of visitors with cars in this older small town built high up on a mountainside.

Excellent Hotel! George the owner was very welcoming, the room was great, breakfast was delicious, and the location in Delphi can not be beat. The hotel is the the center of town walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. There is an excellent restaurant directly across the street from the hotel. Pitho is only a few minutes drive or long walk to the Delphi archeological site and museum. We will definitely stay there again if we return to Delphi.

Vickie and George and their 3 beautifully behaved boys were most welcoming, housed us in a comfortable room, provided a great breakfast and gave us excellent travel tips. We will try to act on George's advice to return before 10 years have passed.

“The location, quality and hospitality plus the cost makes the Kouros Hotel a wonderful value. This is a cheerful, well run inn in a fun little town (with great restaurants) next to the archeological site of Delphi. The day trippers who come and go from Athens are missing a great opportunity if they don't stay the night at the Kouros Hotel!” William, Fayetteville |
