Fedriades is a family-run hotel situated in the heart of the city of Delphi. Built in traditional Greek style, it is within easy walking distance of the Archaeological Museum and the sights.
Score from 263 reviews Very good
Ideal situation on the main street of Delfi, just to the shops and taverns, about 1 km from tha Museum and the Arhcelogical Site. Not far upstairs there are very pleasant and cheep taverns visited mostly by locals The owners are very polite and helpfull. The rooms are cosy and clean, the breakfast is very good.
It is difficult to park the car on the main street. There are only 3 Greek programs on TV.
Convenient for Delphi. Comfortable room. Attentive hosts.
No view from our room, but we had a terrace.
Great owner Great location Great value
The great location allowed leisurely walking around town and shopping. We also enjoyed a great dinner at our host's restaurant.
We were welcomed warmly by the owner who showed us where to park and helped us with our bags. the hotel is in a central location in town and Delphi historial park is within walking distance. The breakfast was very good with limited selection & the restuarant we were recommended to was fantastic with great views over the Gulf. I had a problem with a booking at our next destination and Vicky made a call for me and managed the situation in Greek for me which was very kind. The bed was the most comfortable we had on our entire holiday.
Having to hold the shower rose to wash, although this wasn't the only one of these in Greece.
George is wonderful and stayed up late to receive us (approximately 1 am) even though he gets up early to begin serving breakfast to all of the patrons. Room was large and clean. Would definitely return to this property should I be in the area again.
Furnishings could perhaps use an update; however, this obviously doesn't affect the cleanliness or safety of the location (both of which were fantastic).
- The very helpful and cheerful staff - The location, very close to the archaeological site - How the manager achieved to offer a varied buffet for breakfast in virtually no space! - The directions we got from the manager to visit other less known places but also beautiful
The shower has a curtain instead of glass, but other than that we saw nothing.
Location was perfect for walking to archaeological sites and museum. Owner, George, has so much knowledge of the area that it is almost like having a personal tour guide. Many good shops and restaurants are a short walk away. This is a family-run establishment, much more like a B and B than a hotel. Very comfortable and the family makes you feel as if you're staying with friends. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
The great location means you're on the busy Main Street of Delphi, which can be very noisy. We could have requested a room in the back, but the view from our room made the noise worth it. It's always a good idea to travel with ear plugs!
Everything was excellent with hotel.
I did not find anything negative.
The owners of the property are very nice peopel who speak excellent English; they were very keen to ensure that our stay was as good as possible. The property was very clean and relaxing.
A neighbour doing metalwork until 11.00pm sending vibrations through the whole building. No fault of the Pitho Rooms, just a facet of life in Greece. George of Pitho Rooms went and had a word with the miscreant which was good of him.
Hotel was very centrally located, easy/close walk to restaurants and shopping. Two minute car drive to the Delphi ruins/museum, which are a worthwhile site to visit. George and Vicki were very helpful, and provided all the guidance we needed.
Very small town with one way streets made it a bit challenging to find hotel, and finding parking usually meant a short walk up the street. But it was just part of the charm.
Amazing people run this hotel and gift shop. You fill at home.
Parking on the street is a little bit of a hassle, but Victoria helped us with parking across the street near her cousin's restaurant
Very friendly and helpful management. Very good value.
+ warm hospitality - you feel as if visiting friends + breakfast - especially the homemade sour cherry jam + comfortable and spacious room
Great location at Delphi's main street, it takes 10 to 15 minutos to arrive at ancient Delphi. Giorgios, the owner, is amazing, he will help you from the very first second. The hotel is clean and cheap, what would be better to stay one night at Delphi?
Unfortunately, the Pitho has no panoramic views at Delphi's valley but, there are a lot of taverns that do.
We were warmly greeted and welcomed - the owner even carried our luggage upstairs. Room was large and had a sofa which was lovely - and a great view over to the sea.
The only problem was the shower having a head that didn't fit on the fitting.
Superb location, rooms and facilities.extremely helpful owner who even helped us with our car problems! Happy to come back to Delphi just to stay here, so book with your eyes closed!
Not a thing.everything was perfect.
George and Vicky may be the nicest people in Greece. My wife and I stayed at their place for 2 nights. Very clean and in the center of town. Do yourself a favor and listen to all of George's ideas on things to do in Delphi and nearby towns. He did not give us a bad suggestion. Also, the homemade cherries provided for the breakfasts are a must try (his mother inlaw knows whats up :-)). More of a B&B feel but totally worth it!!!! Put it this way, they are both now on our Christmas card list! Will return for sure. - Nick and Cindy Demetriou, Long Island, NY
Not one thing.
Great friendly service and an amazing breakfast! You have to try the sour cherry with fresh yoghurt for breakfast!
Josh was an amazing host and very helpful! He recomended us lots of things to do and places to visit. He went beyond his duties to make us feel welcome and at home!
The owner was great. From beginning to end they catered to us. The Room was very nice. They also served us breakfast. I would go back!
Excellent location, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, comfortable room
George and Vicki we're awesome hosts. Breakfast was fantastic. Room, ambience everything exceptional
the fact I had to leave after only 1 night.
+ bread is bought hot from the oven from the baker's shop in the morning (sour dough rise). Really LOVELY! + family run hotel, very communicative hosts! + very good value for money
George and his hotel were wonderful, including his hospitality and restaurant recommendation. Our family of 6 had 3 perfect rooms and the common area was relaxing. We wish we would have stayed longer!!! Thanks, George and family.
