Plaka Hotel    

Excellent location, it's close to everything. The hotel is really good, small, simple but very pleasant, good rooms, clean,excellent breakfast, small attentions as cookies and water all day long, staff really nice, kind and helpful, it was perfect. The terrace with the amazing view of the Acropolis is a perfect way to end the day.

Location very good! Close to every tourist sight ,breakfast excellent! , roof view Acropolis very nice !!, people on the front desk very friendly. A lot restaurant around and shooping stores too.

The elevator too small ! : (

The staff were very helpful in finding out where tickets were for some special events, they always helped us.

Breakfast coffee was terrible - filtered need I say more! Had to go to one of many great cafe's just outside to get my morning fix.

Location excellent. Rooftop terrace excellent. Friendly helpful staff and good advice and facilities. Breakfast very good.

Location and excellent service. Rooms were clean and new and it was nice to be received with a small bottle of wine and greek sweets.

We liked everything about this hotel

We were travelling with 2 small children (ages 1 and 3) and this hotel was perfect for our family. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was very good and they offered us a high chair for the baby. We also liked that the breakfast area was open all day with free tea and coffee. Rooftop bar was awesome.

Location, Location, Location and having hot beverages available 24/7. Rooftop Terrace. Free WiFi from all floors.

Despite there best efforts WiFi was a problem for all except iPad user. No WiFi reach on the Terrace rooftop.

The location was perfect for us. This is a 3star hotel. It was clean and convenient.

Looks a little dodgy from the outside but inside is good. Wifi is meant to be accessible from our room but the signals were patchy.

The hotel has an excelent location, at a very pleasant area of Athenas: piazzas full of restaurants and coffe shops, at the old center, and close to lots of turistic attractions and monuments. The view of the iluminated Parthenon at night from the terrace is unforgetable.

As you have to leave at noon, you can't do a late check In as the hotel is not a big one(Limited space for you to leave your luggage, also no one to help with them).

fabulous roof terrace with amazing view of the acropolis, the lovely woman who worked in the bar whose name i dont know. the same view from my bedroom window, the cleanliness of the room. the breakfast , tea and coffee available all day. the ability to walk out hotel door and have transport shops historical sites great restaurants all within walking distance and in a safe area. love plaka hotel

this is a fabulous quiet location and the hotel is absolutely delightful, especially the acropolis views and wonderful buffet breakfasts

Location couldn't be better. You are right there. Everything is within walking distance. Everyone very friendly. Excelent breakfast. Rooftop bar is tops. But again the location it is right where you want to be!!

the only thing I can think of is that we had twin beds pushed togeather. Would have preferred a double.

The roof top bar and amazing views of the Acropolis. The member of staff who came to each table at breakfast time to make sure everything was OK and to advise about sights, locations local attractions etc.

Michael was very friendly and so cooperative with us.

A recomendation for renting a car (it was so expensive!) and that the rooms there are not coffee machine.

Great location, really clean rooms, nice overall decor, staff was very helpful and they were willing to work with us to amend our reservation.

Price is a little on the high side, but for what you get it has good value.

very clean rooms and bathrooms. The hotel is centrally located so it is very easy to walk to most of the major sights. eg Acropolis is only a 10 min away and the plaka districk has many great restaurants.

A beautiful hotel, with a view from the rooftop to die for, especially at night. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and city attractions, you can walk everywhere. We arrived at 11.00 and received our room right away and had the free coffee and cookies. When we had an early flight we could eat breakfast early. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We even received clean towels twice a day if needed. Great hotel for everybody.

We had two rooms, with a connecting door. One room had a big closet and the other only room for hanging clothes. We had a balcony, but there is no room to sit on it and is useless. There were no chairs to sit in the room.

Location.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Plaka Hotel - again very efficient and accommodating staff. The buffet breakfast is varied and very enjoyable and the hotel offers free hot drinks and biscuits all day until 5 p.m. We will return when next visiting Athens.

The hotel was in a great location to check out the sights and do some tourist shopping. It was a treat to be greeted with our own complimentary bottle of wine in our room. Also the rooftop bar had an amazing view of the acropolis and made good cocktails.

The price seemed high for a very standard room and standard morning breakfast.
