Michael was very friendly and so cooperative with us.

A recomendation for renting a car (it was so expensive!) and that the rooms there are not coffee machine.

Great location, really clean rooms, nice overall decor, staff was very helpful and they were willing to work with us to amend our reservation.

Price is a little on the high side, but for what you get it has good value.

very clean rooms and bathrooms. The hotel is centrally located so it is very easy to walk to most of the major sights. eg Acropolis is only a 10 min away and the plaka districk has many great restaurants.

A beautiful hotel, with a view from the rooftop to die for, especially at night. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and city attractions, you can walk everywhere. We arrived at 11.00 and received our room right away and had the free coffee and cookies. When we had an early flight we could eat breakfast early. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We even received clean towels twice a day if needed. Great hotel for everybody.

We had two rooms, with a connecting door. One room had a big closet and the other only room for hanging clothes. We had a balcony, but there is no room to sit on it and is useless. There were no chairs to sit in the room.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Plaka Hotel - again very efficient and accommodating staff. The buffet breakfast is varied and very enjoyable and the hotel offers free hot drinks and biscuits all day until 5 p.m. We will return when next visiting Athens.

The hotel was in a great location to check out the sights and do some tourist shopping. It was a treat to be greeted with our own complimentary bottle of wine in our room. Also the rooftop bar had an amazing view of the acropolis and made good cocktails.

The price seemed high for a very standard room and standard morning breakfast.

Staff at Plaka were excellent and helpful in every way. A great location for visiting Athens and journeys from airport and sea port. Will certainly choose this hotel again.

Location is excellent. The free 'tea time' was a hit with the kids. Also the rooftop bar's views were amazing!

The room was a little small.

The location is fabulous right in the heart of the old Historical Plaka, I booked a single room and on my arrival they very kindly upgraded me to a double room with a super view of the Acropolis (610) free of charge. The staff are extremly friendly & helpful especially Elsa in the rood top bar, who makes the most wonderful cocktails so as you can enjoy probably the best view of the Acropolis in the town,breakfast has a great choice or salty & sweet goodies for everyone, I would not hesitate to return to this *Gem* of a hotel.

The only problem was the Wi-fi did not work very well during my stay.

All staffs are very friendly and professional. Thanks for the gift wine! The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is greate. Very close to the metro station. A few minutes' walk to the Syntagma square. The view of Acropolis on the top roof of the hotel is amazing. You can sit there and have the nice view with a cup of coffee or wine without having to climb up to a mountain. We would stay here again next time visiting Athens.

I thought the location was excellent, very central but also quiet. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Excellent location, just between Athens' best part, Plaka, and the commercial center (Ermou, Syntagma). Metro station just 200m away. Breathtaking view of the Acropolis from the roof garden/terrace. Good breakfast. Clean rooms with attention to the detail. Really appreciated my stay and felt at home, looking forward to come back.

The moment I left.

The room was very confortable. The hotel provided lots of information of the city from maps, schedules for side trips, transportation to the airport, turisric places with opening times and prices, etc. That was really helpful. The location is excellent to visit the main sites and still walking distance from Syntagma to connect with everything else. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. The view of the Acropolis from the roof was beautiful.

Internet costs 1 euro per hour, after 2 hours free given by the hotel.

I really liked their breakfast buffet. Proximity to tourist attractions, restaurants and subway.

Our bed was divided in two mattresses and was very uncomfortable to sleep on since you could literally fall in between them.

I like location and staffs whom have service mind.

I didn't like there are wifi and the ybath room. When I took shower, water bounced from bathtub.

The only thing we didnt like were the graffiti on most of the building surrounding the hotel.
