Pension Petros is situated just a few metres from the main square of the lively Fira Town in Santorini. It offers a 24-hour front desk.
Score from 82 reviews Very good
nice and very helpfull owner
a bit difficult to find (to the camping site and further down the road)
Perfect room and the family that runs the place is very friendly. I enjoyed having a swimming pool and the location is quite good. Walking distance to Fira.
Very nice family own hotel near Fira downtown. Rooms are like small apartments. Have microwave, electric kettle, lil fridge, small table, etc. // The personal is great, they try to help you with everything! // Far enough from Fira buzz in a quiet hood.// Airport transporation for only 15 euro!//I Def would stay here again.
Wifi left much to be desire. During some hours of the day it was impossible to use. Very slow // Swimming pool only up to 8pm.// Although near downtown, you have to walk up the hill so consider it! But if you plan to rent a vehicle it's ok then!! // No tv in the room //
Good hotel near the city centre of fira, reachable in 10 minutes by feet. Hosts are suitable and very nice! They are available in most cases but not for all ones. For example, trasfert from airport to hotel (and viceversa) is not free. Furthermore, for the first two days we stayed in a small hot room despite of we paid for a bigger one. Fortunately, for the next days we changed room and the situation was rescued. This one was big and quite nice. Host accepts only cash to pay our booking (fiscal point was ok: ticket received) so I searched a greek bank compatible with my credit card paying 4 Euro of tax. There are also good things: host gave us tourist informations about the best resturants and places to visit. Furthermore, host helped us to find a good company to rent a scooter. Again, It is a good place to spend your holiday
Close to the center of town. Nice clean room.
What I didn't like is that I was charged 15€ for a pick up from the port, and I had to take the bus to the port when I had to leave, even though on the web site it states that pick up and drop off from/to the port is free.
The staff were fantastic. Could not do enough to help.
Location was not great. It is a fair walk up hill to town.
The hotel is in a quiet area of Fira close to the camping area. The owner and his family are very friendly and helpful. Yannis drove me to the airport from where I had to pick up our rental car. The room was very clean. Good value for money.
The hotel is difficult to find, no signs, about 10-15 minutes walk down the hill from the bus terminal. It's better to call there for instructions. The bathroom was very small. Okay for one night but not for a longer stay.
The owever, his son and wife are all very kind, the room is big and clean with a terrace. Everthing is perfected. We get good value for the money. Strongly recommend.
Owners very helpful, room was clean and had a nice little balcony.
We found it to be too far from the center of Fira. It's a good 15 minute walk and it's all up hill.
Run by a family where nothing was too much trouble. Yanis collected us from the airport when we arrived on Santorini and took us to the port when we moved on to Ios. He organised a hire quad bike quickly when asked. On the odd occasion when we were relaxing by the pool after being out all day Yanis gave us a glass of local wine and coffee without being asked... a really nice friendly family. When Yanis dropped us off at the port we gave him a 10 Euro tip and you'd have thought we had given him the world. If we return to Santorini we will stay with them again. Many thanks for your hospitality. The location was ideal for us 300 metres from the busy town area and there was no noise issues.
Nothing to dislike
Was like a private villa yet close to town. Family were attentive and lovely. Gave very personal service. Felt like I was at home. Felt very comfortable.
Maybe the port is getting a bit old for the capacity of guests entering the island. Taxi ride overcharging???
The owner and his family were very friendly, and really made us feel welcome. There is a lovely area to sit outside the rooms, with a table and chairs. The hotel is hard to find, so call if needed, we got picked up from the bus station. They are a 10 min walk from the city centre. Fridge and shower worked well.
The interior was old, but didnt matter as we spent all day outside.
My stay was great, staff were more then perfect, being just out of town perfect for some down time and especially took use of the wifi, great stay just be mindful it's about a 5-6 min walk to town uphill but didn't effect my stay at all, would deffinetly recommend !
Very helpful and nice family, they gave a drive for us to the port..
Very friendly family owned place. Good value for money.
The staff is very kind and helpfull They pick us at 2 a.m. In the central station Very quite and calm Breakfast ok
Breakfast could have more variety but is ok
Yannis was very kind to come pick us up from the port and he welcomed us at the hotel with a glass of fresh juice, he helped us getting around the city by showing us around , I would definitely go back :)
The hill to go to the center is a bit hard to walk at the end of the day even if it's close, 7 min walk ...
The patio and the pool were lovely places to relax. We had a pretty view from our patio. The rooms were very clean and ours had a nice cushioned bench to sit on. Loved the resident mama cat and her kitten! Breakfast was fine and included boiled eggs, toasted sandwich, juice, and yogurt with fruit.
The long walk to town got to be a bit much. It was no 5 minutes, more like 10-15 depending on your pace. The owners didn't tell us when breakfast was; we didn't like the flavored coffee. Beds were saggy and uncomfortable. Our room was next to a field -- nice and quiet except we were swatting flies constantly.
Janni the owner was very helpful. Excellent budget option, felt like we were in 'real greece' which was nice in such a tourist location.
Warm family business with very friendly owner and family. Gregory and his father helped us to the hotel and leaving the hotel by their car and provided many useful information to our trip. The room was clean everyday. Price was excellent and location is good enough, very quiet but quite some walk ~7-8 mins to bus station, but its alright if u plan to rent a bike or ATV there
There wasnt a very clear notification on the directions to the hotel before arrival. Water not hot enough at night.
We have been warmly welcomed by the hosting family who was constantly ready to help us and give us some good tips.
We enjoyed our stay here. A bit of a walk up the hill to get to town square but it was nice to be away from all the excitement and noise. Owners were great, really sweet and always around for any questions you had. I'd recommend staying here as long as you're able to walk a little up the hill to get to main area of fira.
The staff is really nice!!!!!! They give us some fruits and some traditional drinks :) The room is very clean.
The staff were very friendly and even drove us from town to the hotel, and then back to the bus stop at the end of our stay. The room was spotless and we enjoyed the terrace outside the room. It is situated about 5 mins walk out of town, which was perfect considering how busy the town centre gets - so nice to be within close range but not right in the centre. Great value for money!
Close to the city center And the staff is friendly.
Is a little bit difficult to find.
