Plaza Hotel

Molto bello il posto, fermata del tram per Pireo, Atene e Glyfada davanti all'ingresso dell'hotel. Spiaggia ed acqua bella ed attrezzata: davanti all'hotel c'è uno stabilimento che con soli 3 euro (se studente!!) hai l' entrata; con tre euro in più' anche il lettino e l'ombrellone!!! L'hotel è a una fermata dalla città di Glyfada, città piena di negozi e veramente bella per cenare e per passare una bella serata in qualche pub all'aperto.

Tutto molto bello a parte un po' di odore di chiuso nella stanza nei primissimi giorni. Mobilio un po' antiquato, anche se il televisore era a schermo piatto e paeque in camera. Personale cordiale e gentile.

Il buon rapporto qualità/prezzo,e,soprattutto perche è facilmente raggiungibile dall'aeroporto di Atene(bus X96 all'uscita Arrivals N°5;fermata "A'plaz Voulas-Voula,proprio sotto l'Hotel,prezzo 3,20;biglietti acquistabili dal botteghino fuori l'aeroporto o direttamente dall'autista)

La mia prima vacanza con il mio ragazzo ho dovuta farlo in letti separati!!! Non ci hanno accontentato, letti piccoli, non c'è l'ascensore e quindi bagagli a mano su per le scale. Diciamo che sono puliti e la signora è gentile. Il resto lasciamo stare. Molto rumoroso è su una strada molto trafficata

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly - they had good suggestions for sightseeing trips and made sure we knew about the daylight savings time change that coincided with the morning we needed to leave for the airport.

The television didn't receive any channels, and the toilet only stopped running if you turned the water shutoff valve.

Value for money, clean, friendly staff, seaside location

as everyone can read in all other comments, the road in front of the hotel is busy. almost 24 hours. thats true. nothing the hotel can change, but still...

Proximity to airport (30 minutes by bus) with airport bus leaving opposite of the hotel.

We had booked a (real) triple room, that upon arrival turned out to be a smallish double room with a squeezed in camping type bed. Moreover, the camping bed broke down in the middle of the night and needed to be replaced. Since the hotel does not have any real triple rooms at all they should not advertise triple rooms, but double rooms that can take an extra bed (although the extra beds are not suitable for persons taller that 1,60 and heavier than 50 kilos).

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to bus stop straight into Athens. Good sized rooms.

Clean rooms, bus and tram station next to the hotel (direct connection with airport and Athens centre), nice beach across the street.

breakfast starts at 8am, it's difficult to cross the street.

The only thing I liked about this hotel was the express "city" bus to the airport that stopped across the street from the hotel. It was cheaper than a hotel shuttle, but you had to lug your luggage across the busy road.

The towels provided in the room were about the stiffest towels I have ever encountered and I was afraid to use them, therefore we left without showering. The rooms were definately low class rooms and definately just a quick place to sleep, although the bed somewhat collapsed when we sat on it.

The hotel was said to be close to the airport, but that was false and the taxi ride was 33 euros. It also popped up with the search criterion of having airport transportation, which was misleading & turned out to be a public bus across the street. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, one could feel pokes of the springs in the mattress & the noise from the halls was intolerable.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff was very helfpful and friendly.

The location. There were no restaurants or stores within walking distance and the airport was 30 minutes away. We booked the hotel based on price and shuttle service to the airport, which they did not offer. There was a bus stop just out the front door and the staff were helpful in calling a cab.

It was easy to get to the airport, quite clean and safe.

No ATM near, and the hotel had trouble with our credit card. It could have been quite a conundrum, but it finally worked. Also, there were a few unfinished touches in our room (floor molding and bathroom tiles, etc.)
