Breakfast is great with so many options to choose. The location is just 5 minutes walking distance from Omonia Station wich is one stop away from Syntagma Station where the Marathon buses pick you up. Breakfast is served very early the race day so you can fuel up before the big challenge. Great free wi-fi connection speed in room. Excellent view to the Acropolis from the roof bar.
Small shower space in the room. One staff member was not so friendly the first day in the morning but we deal with him another day and he treat us nice the second time. Maybe he was just tired. Understandable. Hotel entrance is on a street where buildings are being under construction but never felt unsafe around.
Location (200 m close to Omonia station). Decent breakfast. Staff is helpful. Good money value.
Room is quite small. Same for shower and TV.
small room with bad smell
price is good for such location and facilities. Free WiFi. Wonderful breakfast and good restaurant on top floor (prises are reasonable). Friendly stuff. 2min walking from metro which is only 2 stops away from Acropolis. close to the area with bars.
very noisy street which gives no option for opening the window (fortunately we had and air-conditioning). not actually a clean district....
very good value for money for its location remodelled recently, very clean rooms
the behaviour of the receptionist when was asked to help us with reservations etc- was not willing to even make a phone call to ask how we could get help
Very polite staff especially at the reception Room had a lovely balcony
went up to rooftop terrace to have a drink with family...group of men already there smoking CIGARS !!!...Staff did not seem to care , eo we did not have a drink !!it smelt horrible and against EEC Rules !! Did not get pour usual executive room, even though it was empty...we have stayed in The Polis Grand for 8 years in a row win October half term for 1 night
The room is small
Hotel is a short walk from the transit station. Room pretty much met our expectation,Breakfast was very impressive with an amazing selection. Helpful and pleasant reception staff.
Soundproofing between rooms was very poor. The elevators very tiny, but that is just a European thing I think.
location is perfect..
the room is quite small..
location and staff.
to match noise from the trafic.
The location may seem gloomy in the night due to the graffiti and construction but it is really very safe and convenient. Within walking distance to Metro. Staff in the hotel is also very helpful. They attend to your requests very quickly. Nice eateries around the area. Everyone is so helpful.
Welcoming and fair price and good location
They could provide us with a triple room.
Beds were extremely hard.
room could be bigger
Very close to all historical objects , nice view to Acropolis
Friendly, helpful staff lovely breakfast Central to the transport network .lovely view of the acropolis from 8th floor bar at night .
The location was amazing, was right in the centre of the city, so was easy to get around. It is in a safe area and had easy access to buses, the subway and taxis. The staff was friendly and very welcoming, and assisted with anything I needed. The room was comfortable and clean, and overall had a good stay. I really enjoyed my stay and felt very welcome, and will definitely stay again.
It is a boutique hotel so facilities like a pool, conference centre, etc were not available, but they did allow use of a computer in reception which was helpful. The lift was small and slow, but was able to use it. I was on the second floor and could here noise off the street, but the bigger issue was being able to hear people in the corridor. Also had issues sometimes locking the door to the room.
Friendly staff, good location, good and cheap prices......
The breakfast was excellent. Fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt from heaven and a lot of nice greek treats. It was clean and the staff very nice.
The Wi-Fi was a little slow. The location was a little far from nice restaurants.
the bed is really too hard
Roof top restaurant
The bed, too hard If you like to open your window, not here. You look out to a service area at the back of the building .The rooms above you, the water or condinsation from the air conditioners drops on to a roof. Annoying
Helpful and polite Staff
Good location near the subway and walking distance to Plaka
The hotel is located on a noisy street, the balcony door shut or opened, there is no difference.
I especially liked the breakfast and location.
I do not have notes
The hotel locates near the metro.
The staffs are so impolite. We are discriminated because we are Asian. Although the location is near the metro, it is surrounded by poor area.
