Das Poseidon Hotel war unseren Erwartungen entsprechend. Ein sauberes ruhiges Hotel mit guten Verkehrsanbindungen zum Strand, Heraklion und Flughafen zu einem günstigen Preis und hilfsbereitem Personal. Wir haben 40 Euro pro Nacht im September gezahlt und waren im 2. Stock nach hinten raus (zum Pool) untergebracht. Ein Aufenthalt zu dieser Zeit ist sehr entspannt bei gutem Wetter zwischen 20 und 30 Grad. Es waren sehr gute Balkone vorhanden. Außerdem gab es einen Kühlschrank, eine Spüle und eine Kochplatte. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und hatte, obwohl als DZ gebucht noch ein drittes Bett. Das Fernsehprogramm auf dem Zimmer war rein griechisch, aber es laufen teilweise englische Filme oder Serien mit griechischen Untertiteln. In der Zeit in der wir im Hotel waren, gab es nicht mehr so viele Gäste und keine Kinder, weil die Saison schon fast vorbei war. Wenn man in der Ferienzeit bucht könnte ich mir vorstellen, dass man sich teilweise gestört fühlt, wenn man ein Zimmer zum Pool hin bekommt, da die Gäste von dort in das Zimmer schauen können. Es gibt zwar gut durchdachte Schiebetüren und einen Vorhang, aber die volle Privatspähre ist in der Zeit wohl nicht garantiert.
