I had made the reservations for Hotel Poseidon based on its map location. The views of the sea between the two parts of Kefallonia Island were excellent. I was very pleased to be able to sleep with the wonderful sound of the "floisvos" (very small waves) nicely. In the mornings the sea was as calm as a mirror. I used the location of the hotel for traveling around the Island and it was a pleasure to come to the room for rest. The friendly smile of the lady helping me and the wonderful conversation was also a gem to treasure. I wish her and her family well. I highly recommend it to families and to single travelers wanting peace and quiet. Oh! A couple of mosquitoes were a nuisance.

Rumet hade utsikt över medelhavet, det städades varje dag, frukosten var okej och det var nära till allt. Det var änkelt att ta sig till hotellet från flygplatsen. först taxi 9km och sen en färja. sista biten gick vi till hotelet som var ca 700m. Det var billigt i Lixouri också vilket var ett plus i kanten. Personalen hade det svårt med engelska vilket gjorde det svårt att komenusera.
