Protessilaos Hotel    

Friendly owners, the provision of a playpen for our baby, the view and the proximity to the beach, elegant furniture and decoration, the lady-owner offered us bottled water at no charge upon arrival and fried some bread slices for us during breakfast.

Would prefer a slightly bigger balcony, had some difficulties to maneuvre our baby's stroller in the elevator.

Perfectly located just a few meters from the beach and about one hundred meters from nice restaurants. The owner of the hotel was real helpful and gentle and very friendly. Nice, clean decorated rooms. Comfortable clean bathrooms with shower jets. Tasty breakfast with personally made omelets. Real good value for money.

The people of the hostel is really nice , and the seaside. The food is just amazing.

The rooms are quite simple, nice decorated, very nice view and good beds however. Brand new bathrooms and very clean. But what a very friendly and warm reception we have received in this hotel. The owner Vasilios made us feel like at home and very comfortable from the first moment, as he was speaking very good Italian. His mother baked for us some local delights in the morning, she was so kind. This hotel is really quite inexpensive and in summer time should be very nice. We will come back!

Nice location at the beach front where you can walk at the promenade along the sea. The owner Vasilis was very friendly person, speaking very good Italian, he proposed us a very fine fish restaurant and we went there together, where we had a very big variety of sea food. The hotel was nicely decorated, nice, clean and comfortable rooms with beautiful view at the sea. The bathrroms were very clean and just rennovated. The buffet breakfast in the morning with big variety of local products. It is an economical hotel and highly reccomended for 2-3 days of relax.

My visit was out of season but it must be very beautiful at summer time

It's close to the see and not far from the motorway. A good place for over stop on the way Athens-Thessaloniki. Friendly reception.

The bathroom needs renovarion. The design of common space is very specific.

L'accueil personnalisé du gérant, très chaleureux et convivial. Le petit déjeuner est très complet Très belle vue de l’hôtel, donnant sur la mer, malheureusement, on ne peut s'y baigner car beaucoup de déchets

L'accueil du patron, compétent et hyper concerné. Facile d'accès par l'aéroport de Volos et bonne base de départ pour une escapade à Athène (voiture louée à aéroport)

A very cozy small family run hotel at the beach front. Vassilios, the owner, is a fantastic and very energetic person, we went for dinner together and that was an unforgetable experience...such a variety of small local dishes and lots of laugh! The rooms are comfortable, maching my design taste, very clean, with excellent fabrics. The owner just have rennovated the bathrooms, which I found very clean and pleasant with hydromassage shower. Breakfast was served on buffet with big variety of local products. Thanks for the amazing hospitality. Will be back soon! Strongly recomended!

Le uniche cose positive sono la gentilezza del titolare (il quale parla italiano) e la posizione comoda per raggiungere l'aeroporto (20 minuti in macchina)

Innanzitutto l'hotel è stato declassato e non è 3 stelle come è scritto qui sul sito. Il titolare ci ha confermato essere 2 stelle adesso. Struttura di inizio anni 80, mancanza di uscite di emergenza, camere piene di moquette che non danno la sensazione di pulizia. Bagno indecente: ventola rotta, doccia incrostata, non si chiude bene neppure la paratia della doccia. Ascensore minuscolo. Per quel che riguarda la colazione molto scarna e piatti non puliti. State alla larga, uno dei peggiori che abbia mai provato

Very cozzy seaside hotel. We had a very warm welcome from the owner..Vassilos is called or something like this. Amazing personality! The beach in 30 meters away. Nicely decorated rooms with amazing view to the ocean. Very comfortable beds. Clean room but bathroom bit outdated but everything was in order. The lady in the morning offered us some kind of pastry she made.. Was delicious even though the buffet breakfast was full of delights. I had a very warm hospitality my last day in Greece and pitty I did not know the place earlier. I will defenatelly come back in Nea Anchialos...even for a weekend to try this "tsiporo" that I was proposed by the owner but did not have the chance. Great value for money. Very very warm people. Thank you guys..keep like this!

La posizione di fronte alla spiaggetta e sul lungomare la tranquillità il fatto che il proprietario parlasse italiano la colazione a buffet l'amabilità della madre del proprietario

La piccola manutenzione (lampade non funzionanti, cassonetto del water, luce del bagno non indipendente dalla ventola) può essere migliorata

Senza ombra di dubbio, Vassilis !!!! Figlio dei titolari dell'hotel è una persona eccezionale ed al contempo anche un po pazzerella. di sicuro non vi annoierete in questa località se lui è presente !!! Ci ha consigliato un ristorante nelle vicinanze e poi..... ce lo siamo ritrovati li a cena con un gruppo !!! Ci ha fatto portare a nostra insaputa specialità del ristorante, che presumo poi abbia pagato lui, senza far tralasciare ai camerieri del ristorante di rifornirci costantemente di Tzipuro, bevanda all'anice simile all'ouzo, durante il nostro pasto. Beh..... siamo usciti dal ristorante un po malconci ma...... felici di aver trovato un pazzo simile sulla nostra via. Persona molto cordiale ed imprevedibile Vassilis e poliglotta visto che parla correttamente oltre al greco ed italiano altre lingue. L'hotel in se si trova in buona posizione, vis a vis di una lunga spiaggia di sassolini e con un mare molto pulito. Le camere sono piccole e arredate semplicemente comunque una buona struttura per un paio di notti. Nea Anchialos non offre molto quindi..... ritengo che un soggiorno di una o due notti sia più che sufficiente. Molto comodo se si arriva o si deve partire dall'aeroporto situato a pochi km di distanza.

L'Hotel necessita sicuramente di lavoretti di ristrutturazione al contrario dei bagni che forse necessitano di lavori un pò più radicali.

hôtel vieillot, surtout la salle de bains qui est totalement décrépie ! les serviettes sentaient le renfermé, la moquette laissait à désirer, bref je ne recommande pas du tout !!

Very friendly atmosphere. Owner very hospitable and speaks very good Italian as well. The hotel is at the beach front. Clean rooms and nicely decorated. Beds fantastic,I enjoyed my sleep comparing to my previous hotel. Rich buffet breakfast was served in the morning and a very gentle lady offered us home made sweets. Close to the airport. Recommended.

Very friendly and hospitable owner, very clean rooms with slippers and big soft towels. Breakfast was delicious, a lady fried some homemade eggs for us and gave us a delicious cake she made. Hotel next to the sea, I was given sea view room, all restaurants in a very walking distance with authentic greek food.

Der überaus freundliche Empfang durch den Hotelinhaber. Das war auch schon alles auf der positiven Seite.

Es handelt sich um ein Hotel aus den 70er Jahren. Eine Renovierung hat wenn überhaupt nur vorsichtig stattgefunden. Das Zimmer ist mit Teppichboden ausgelegt, barfuß umherlaufen hätte ich mich nicht getraut. Das Bad ist eine einzige Katastrophe. Die Duschabtrennung besteht nur noch aus 2 Seitenteilen, die dazugehörigen Schiebetüren jedoch waren nicht mehr vorhanden. Eine weitere Beschreibung des Sanitärbereiches erspare ich mir. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir uns auf ein schönes gemütliches Frühstück gefreut, jedoch auch hier kann das Hotel nicht punkten. Frühstücksraum im Kellergeschoß, Kaffee ungenießbar, Spiegeleier kalt usw. Wir waren eine Nacht dort, das war schon eine zuviel.

Very beatutiful family run hotel with very gentle, multilingual hospitable owner. Rooms were very cozzy, nicely decorated with a beutiful view to the sea. Very clean and comfortable matresses. Delicious outstanding breakfast was served as most of things were home made from owner's mother. Location was just perfect for us. Enjoyed the sun and the sea! Value for money hotel and I reccomend it.

My first time in this beautiful place. Easy access and not far from Volos. The beach is only two steps away from the hotel. The owner is an amazing person and very professional, as we went out for dinner together. Nicely decorated and very clean rooms with excellent sea view. Rich buffet breakfast. Value for money. I reccomend this hotel for its very friendly character. I will defenately come back

είναι μπροστά στη θάλασσα και για την τιμή του είναι πολύ καλό. το καλοκαίρι βέβαια δεν ξέρω πως είναι το μέρος αλλά για άνοιξη ήταν πολύ καλά με πλούσιο πρωινό και ευγενέστατο προσωπικό.

η ηχομόνωση δεν ήταν και τόσο καλή αλλά αυτό είναι μια λεπτομέρεια.

αρκετα καλο, καθαρο,ησυχο ,ομορφη διακοσμηση.....πολυ κοντα σε θαλασσα.
