Great location (the closest hotel to Meteora mountains), good value for money, nice spacious clean rooms decorated with wood, very friendly staff. Excellent view from the balcony. I have arrived late at night and it was rather difficult to find the hotel in the darkness. So the coordinates for GPRS: N:39.71627, E:021.62366

Perfect "world class" location! Not to be missed! Easy to find...as it is well marked after entering Kastri village...Very comfortable, large rooms with lots of windows and/or balconies with superb unobstructed panoramic views of Meteora cliffs! Nice, modern bathrooms. Very welcoming, friendly family owned/operated. Very helpful and great info about Meteora monasteries. Delicious breakfast with plenty of variety..loved the honey! Plus, the free internet in the attractive lobby/bar area. Great value! I've been to over 55 countries..this is one of the best locationed small inns ever! Can't wait to go back! Nothing I didn't like! Even if there was something (like a little rain), it would be greatly outweighed by all the wonderful things! "Misty" Meteora is also highly recommended!

This hotel is amazing!! We did have a GPS but you can just follow the signs to find the hotel. It is a perfect location to see Meteora. I really liked being in the smaller village of Kastraki rather than Kalampaka but you can still run over to Kalampaka if you need an ATM. Our host answered our questions almost before we asked them. He let us know how to prioritize our visits to the monasteries based on how much time we had. He recommended a great taverna, within walking distance, for supper. He also answered our questions about the elections and, with a degree in economics, knows a lot about what is happening in Greece right now. The breakfast was very good, I think he goes to three different bakeries because each one has a specialty. I would not hesitate to go back to this hotel. As someone else noted, if you want a flat location, this would probably not be your hotel, but if you want to be close to the rocks in an amazing setting, choose this hotel!!

We loved this hotel, the view was incredible, the room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The atmosphere was peaceful, and inviting. The owner was very welcoming, making it feel like we were friends staying at their home. He took the time to tell us about Meteora, showing us pictures from books, and describing the community. Our morning breakfast was great, serving local Greek foods. Out of the eight hotels we stayed at in Greece, this was among our most favorite.

This hotel must be in the best location in Meteora (Kastraki). No street traffic and an unbeatable view! We stayed 2 nights and after a warm greeting by our host, we enjoyed a spacious comfortable room with panoramic views of Meteora. Bed, pillow, batroom were all good! Breakfast buffet offered good selection and dining room also has the same great views.

Nice chalet-style building. Quiet and with a close-up view of the rock formations on which the monasteries are built (though not the monasteries themselves). The bed is absolutely huge. The room has a fridge and a balcony.

This is a small hotel at the end of a road with all-around fantastic views, especially from the balcony where breakfast is served. The owner is friendly and helpful, and added greatly to our enjoyment of the hotel. The breakfast is very good. The rooms are clean and well equipped. We will return to this hotel.

Pyrgos Adrachti was beautiful and blended right in the landscape. Loved the babbling brook. The quietness of the hotel, the breakfast. The owners were attentive to their guests. This is definitely a home away from home. The research paid off for our stay in a delightful and spiritual area.

This was one of my favorite hotels of all those I stayed at during two weeks in Greece. Great location right near the rocks with a nice big balcony with an amazing view. Located right on the edge of the village of Kastraki so it was very quiet and restful. Very comfortable bed and nice decor. The owner was very friendly and helpful and spoke great English. He presented us with a book about the Meteora area and provided information about which monastery to see when, and even was kind enough to let us borrow his iPhone charger when our adapter broke. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed there for 1 night with our 2 daughters (10 and 13 year old). We were very satisfied by the hotel's cleanliness and the hospitality of its owner Thanasis. This was in late Dec and it was cold and snowy. We found the bedding particularly warm and comfortable, which is not common in mid-range hotels. When we arrived at the town of Kastraki by bus from Athens, there were no taxis available to take us to the hotel and Thanasis promptly drove down with his car to give us a ride. He also helped us with arrangements for visiting the monasteries and dropped us at the taxi stand in downtown Kalampaka - which is a 5 in drive from the hotel. The views from the balcony where quite spectacular. The breakfast, included in the price, was decent. He also let me use the computer in the lobby at no extra cost.

hospitality of the owner. he guided us with his car, when we arrived at night, to take the correct way. gave full explanation and instructions on the surroundings.always willing to help on any subject we show interest. not to mention the great view on Metaora from the rooms, and the excellent breakfast. he deserves any compliment received in booking.com (on which we based our choice) and doesn't lose his common touch, even though so highly praised.
