sorry to disappoint, but there is not even one disadvantage, that i could think of, about this hotel.

One of the nicest hotels we have been to. Helpful staff with excellent English, lovely views from the bedroom, delicious and abundant breakfasts, nicely kept garden and really not expensive - certainly excellent value for money. Well situated in Kastraki (above Kalampaka and much quieter and more attractive) near the Meteora.

Nothing (though the last bit of the road to it was VERY steep - manageable but guests should be prepared)

Helpful owner, knowledgeable about the monastery times etc. New hotel built with traditional wood floors. Very comfortable bed and pillows, spotlessly clean. Good room facilities with balcony. On site bar. Located almost directly beneath the pinnacles of the prehistoric rock. Available parking.

Steep and fairly narrow incline to hotel, but don't let this put you off!

The rooms were well equipped and furnished in keeping with local tradition. The owner was friendly and very helpful. Brilliant breakfast and fabulous views. Very close to the monasteries of Meteora.

A pity that the hotel does not provide food in the evening, but lots of local tavernas to try within walking distance.

Terrific location. Very appealing, like new, small hotel that felt like a mountain retreat. Balconies. Generous and yummy breakfast buffet.

Didn't know it was in a smaller town up the mountain from Kalampaka, which required either quite a long walk or a taxi to Kalampaka. But not a drawback. Just good to know before booking.

Everything was awesome! The scenery was spectacular! Especially from our balcony . The breakfast was very good. The room had a lot of charm with it's old furniture and an excellent bathroom. The owner was a very charming fellow.

We spent a delightful 2 days in Pyrgos Adrachti in Kastraki. It has a great location at the top of the town below the great cliffs of Meteora with their hard to reach monasteries. The room was clean and well-appointed with a nice balcony above the garden and looking up at the cliffs. The owner Thasassis was extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with free water as well as great breakfasts and interesting conversation. At $66 it was a good value stay. The only drawbacks were a slow shower drain and the lack of a hanger for the hand-held shower head, so we had to hold the shower in one hand while having only one hand for washing.

Excellent location in Kastraki, very close to the monastery attractions. Well positioned for off road trecking. Welcoming and very helpful hosts. Rich breakfast buffet, with local goods. Beautifully decorated.

This hotel is a perfect place to stay for visiting the Meteora area. The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. He will make sure you have a great visit and help in any way he can. His hotel has all the needed conveniences. I was even impressed with the abundance of electrical outlets in the room. Very rare even with 5 star hotels. The air conditioning worked great and there was even a small fridge in the room. I loved the balcony with its beautiful views to the Meteora Mtns. After some of the hotels I had stayed in over the 3 week vacation it was nice to have a hotel with a modern bathroom and a shower in top condition. I would gladly have stayed another night or two if my time had allowed. Its a very relaxing area to enjoy some down time during a busy vacation. Google Maps led us there fine although it took us the back way. There are also plenty of hotel signs on the corners to direct you in once you get in the Kastraki area. Once we arrived and got our bearing it was very easy to get in and out as well as a very close and convenient location to the monasteries. You won't go wrong with this hotel!!
