Rachel Hotel  

John and maria were attentive friendly host and hostess. Great conversation and very clean and comfy. Breakfast was too much literally its was great, coffee tea, juice jams, biscuits bread toast, eggs cheese ham salads yogurt everything yo could want. I even had a cat to pat and feed. Great wi fi great information about the bus ferries and the island.free beach mat and umbrellas.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel with friends , we were treated like long lost family on arrival. Yannis (John) and Maria could not do enough for us and this is for sure what made my friends and I come back, along with the beautiful location. Hotel amenities- you have free wifi,a relaxed tv lounge where Yannis or Maria can make some drinks, a great breakfast with homemade jam, cereals, fruit, bread, eggs, cheese, you can also borrow umbrellas and mats for the beach a mere 2 minutes walk away. Room is comfortable and clean with a small basic bathroom, tv and airconditioning. Our room had a spacious balcony which we used every night. The hotel is on Agia Marina side of Aghina, it's great for relaxing on the beach :), from Athens, hop on x96 bus to Pyreus port (1.5 hours 5 euros) and you can take either a hydrofoil (13.50 euros) or ferry(9.50) to Aghina, from there you can either take a bus or a short cab ride to Hotel Rachel. In short, Yannis and Maria offer something very rare, a warm and friendly hotel in a very relaxed atmosphere , we'll be back.

Bathroom needs a little work, but everything is spotless. However that being said the hotel offers such great value for money that it's very easily forgiven.

We enjoyed the location. Agina Marina is a pleasant resort town, with an excellent swimming beach, and the Rachel Hotel is just 3 minutes from the beach, 3 minutes from the supermarket. Hotel owners John and Maria are gracious, helpful hosts. The breakfast was excellent. We loved the large balcony.

The hotel is of an older vintage, so we had a few things, especially in the bathroom that needed to be repaired. But, given the fact that the price was so reasonable, we could not complain. Our bed was very comfortable.

Situated near the sandy beach, near seafood restaurants, near mainstreet of Marina. Very friendly and helpful staff/owners. Wifi. Beach view balcony.

Room was small. Shower extremely small. Quite old fashion, but with greek atmosphere and clean.

The hotel is very nice and in good position. The hotel owners where fantastic and helpful in everything, they did their best to make our stay in Egina island comfortable and it was a great time spent on this greek island ! We understand now what the greek hospitability means! Thank you Maria and Ioanes for your great attention and helpfulness!good luck and if we return to Egina we would definetly stay in Rachel hotel again!

The owners (sorry I don't remember their names) were so helpful and very nice. The breakfast had a good variety. Right near the beach and port. Air conditioning. Great price and location. Would stay here again.

This isn't really I dislike but something to take note of.... The port that is near Rachel Hotel is not the main port on the island. We took an express boat between Agistri to Aegina however that boat didn't stop at that port. We had to arrive into the main port on Aegina and take a taxi to Rachel Hotel. However the ride was not very long maybe 20min or so and cost 17euros. You just might want to pay attention to what boat you take and what ports it goes to.

A great value for money, the hotel is at a fantastic location right by the sandy beach in the quiet yet lively resort of Ayia Marina. The best asset of this hotel are its owners, Yiannis and Maria who will do anything they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable, always with a smile. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Great location and very helpful staff. Hired a scooter for 5 days for 60 euros which allows you to explore the whole island. Will go back for sure.

The friendliness of the staff; they were so kind and helpful. Our room was typical greek style, but the view was stunning. A nice, friendly hotel.

The charming atmosphere offered at the Rachel Hotel allowed one to enjoy themselves to a great degree. The staff were very friendly and pleasant, available at all times to assist if there were any problems. I highly recommend this establishment, as not only are the facilities good but it's location means that within 2 minutes leisurely walk you are strolling upon the golden sands.

What , I liked most is the location of the Hotel . The beach is only a few meters , away . Moreover , the staff was friendly and they were always giving us advice about everything .
