Renieris Hotel  

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Several wifi routers which allow a very good connection in all the rooms. Wonderful view. Excellent maintaining of the swimming pool and garden. It was a very pleasant and relax stay just a few steeps away from the beach and minutes away from the lively town with plenty of restaurants and bars. Hania is not far either and can be reached by public transport easily.

Just a bit hard to find in the first place!

The Renieris Hotel is situated in a prominenant position on the edge of Kato Stalos about 10 km west of Chania, Crete. The Hotel is clean and bright, with 360 degree scenic vistas. Run by George and his family, it is a delight, with every assistance and courtesy shown to guests. The breakfast room view over the blue Agean alone is worth the stay. The sun rise over the olive groves each morning was dramatic. George Renieris quietly and effectively welcomes his guests and is a mine of information about the island. The free internet facility ( 24 hours ) was invaluable. During my working holiday to cover the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Crete, the Renieris was a perfect retreat. The Renieris is a real gem and I look forward to returning the next time I am in Chania. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

Only one disappointment - having to leave at the end of a wonderful stay !

The View

The beds were horrid....and one of the staff or maybe it was the owner...caught a baby kitten and tossed it over the cliff located next to the stairs, killing the kitten on purpose. He would have done the same to the mother cat but a couple was walking up the path and could see him. We seen him do it from our porch where he did not notice us.

Perfect location, near to the beach and also in short distance from Chania. Clean rooms, very good breakfast, nice view and a very friendly owner. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect

Excellent service in a exceptionally clean hotel. View from rooms and pool outstanding. 100 stairs down to beach good excercise, Beach quiet and nice with good service.

This is an amazing hotel and family run, the staff cannot do enough for you.It was very reasonably priced and included a lovely buffet breakfast. The room looked out over the bay and distant island and we had the most amazing sunsets. The pool was great and we had it all to ourselves !! It is set on a hillside and there are steps directly to the beach.A very quiet and peaceful hotel.

πολύ ζεστό -φιλικό περιβάλλον. ήσυχη ατμόσφαιρα . τοποθεσία καλή εκτός κίνησης και ωραία θέα. τα δωμάτια ήταν άνετα και καθαρά. η σχέση τιμής με δωμάτια και παροχές ήταν άριστη. θα το πρότεινα .ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν πολύ ζεστός φιλικός και εξυπηρετικός. το πρωινό ήταν συμπαθητικό.

ο χώρος της πισίνας θα μπορούσε να ήταν πιο περιποιημένος και το μπαρ να λειτουργεί με τραπεζάκια και για πρωινό.

Durante la nostra permanenza al Renieris hotel abbiamo apprezzato molto la posizione defilata dell'hotel rispetto alla strada principale, pur sempre con vista e vicinanza spiaggia e mare. La gentilezza e disponibilità del personale dell'albergo è molto soddisfacente e l'ottima pulizia e servizi in genere ci ha molto colpiti. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è decisamente favorevole.

Il prezzo

La posizione su uno stradone rumoroso; la camera piccola e spartana (c'erano solo il letto e 2 comodini!); l'accesso attraverso una stradina ripida e strettissima e non visibile dalla strada principale. L'hotel è un 2 stelle, non si può pretendere chissà cosa, ma non capisco tutto l'entusiasmo di molte recensioni lette in precedenza.

Trevlig och vänlig personal, bra rumsservice, fantastiskt läge, litet och familjärt och mycket goda samt mycket att välja på till frukostorna.

Hade föredragit ett mörkt bröd I stället för två ljusa brödsorter. Fler krokar och skåp för kläder i rummet.
