We had two wonderful stays at the Melia. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms nicely appointed, the staff courteous and the wonderful rooftop pool and bar with a view of the Acropolis is lovely. This is a great hotel at a good value that we would definitely recommend. |

It was a great experience staying in this hotel. The location is very convenient, yet not too noisy. The service is professional, and the stuff is very friendly. |

Nice but small swimming pool on the roof. Fair parking availability. Free internet but you get a code only for two hours Expectations from " A Melia" hotel where high. Jacuzzi was not working. Parking was full. |

central location, close to metro, nice rooms, good staff. Good restaurant choices locally in the University/Exarchia district, and easy walk to other nearby areas with good dining and cafes. not really. I dont agree with some of the hotel reviews which indicated the area was unpleasant. We had no problems and food choices in exarchia were good. This is the exception to the answer to the question below. |

The comfort and the cleanliness of the room. The location is near a metro (Omonia) which is very convenient. The view from the top (where swimming pool is located) is very good. The Swimming pool area is closing early (6 pm) which is very disapponting, as the view from there is so nice. It would have been fun to watch the sunset during those times. |

Lots of great things to do in this hotel; the pool and spa facilities are excellent and the jacuzzi in the bathroom was wonderful. The room was a perfect size, soundproofed and with blackout curtains - a great nights sleep guaranteed! The staff were very helpful, and the views from the rooftop in the evenings was perfect. A really perfect stay - a really perfect hotel! |

Nice friendly staff. Swimming pool on the roof, albeit very small, is a bonus. Metro is very near but it's at Omonoia Square; draggies, drunks and beggars galore. If I knew that in advance I would have paid a bit more and stay at a hotel near Syntagma, another central location in Athens. |

The hotel location is quite good. It is easy to reach to the tube station and most of the tourists attractions in Athens.The hotel room is very clean and comfortable.The hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly.Highly recommended! Hope the roof bar can open duirng the night as well. The room for three is too small. |
