I was upgraded to a deluxe room. For some reason 'premium' is the lowest end room. The pool was closed as of October 15th. We had no access to it on October 22nd even though it was beautiful out and there wawater in the pool. The location was dogdy, however a quick trip (one or two stops) on the metro and you would be near anything. |

The room, staff and location was what we were looking for. The breakfast was very good and gave us a good start to the day. To use the internet was expensive. The restaurant did not have wide range to choose from the menu. |

live 3 piece band on thursday night and rooftop pool yes, they still have not posted the correct amount on my visa bill--I paid 260 Euros for 2 nights and they have a "pending" charge on my US Visa for $454 --and it is still pending after 3 days--this is not the correct exchange rate of 1.44 to 1.45 as all the other exchanges of the same day are. the charge should be more like $365 as 365/260 euros produces the correct exchange rate of 1.4. I do not know what they are waiting for to post correct rate. |

The bathroom The hotel is hideously, hideously over-priced. I was charged 40 Euro for a burger and chips and a club sandwich and a 5 minute telephone call cost me another 50 Euro. |

All you could expect from a class A hotel: nice room and facilities, great breakfast (although I missed a true greek yogurt...) and eficient staff. Bathroom was big and the jaccuzi after a day walking in Athens was just great I could not get the air conditioning to cool the room, even after talking to management. But the worst thing about this hotel is realy the location. I arrived by 23h and was scarry, dark and lots of not so friendly "neighbours".... |

Nice room although the location was questionable, as it is close to Omnia square which has a variety of street people in the late evening that made us feel unsafe. |

The hotel is very impressive and we were upgraded to an executive suite automatially which was great. The room was exellent and the facilities were also very good. However - we arrived at around 9pm after extensive travelling and were hungry - we asked where we could eat and were directed to the Piano Bar - the food was overpriced and menu very basic. We did not realise there were other places to eat in the restaurant, including an amazing roof bar which we not even told about. The reception staff did not even say goodbye when we were leaving. The hotel is great but the level of customer service needs to be improved for a 5 star establishment. Reception staff need to offer better customer service |

It appeared to be either a new or a recently re-modelled hotel. Very spacious and comfortable, compared to most European hotels. Convenient to the City and Tourist sites. |

Well designed hotel with good sized rooms, reasonably breakfasts but choice was sometimes limited, Friendly bar staff and great views from the rooftop pool of both Lycabetta Hill and the Acropoli. |

The hotel is in a great location for sites with a range of restaurants close to hand as well as the option of the main tourist areas. I liked the roof terrace which was lovely in the heat of the day Drinks were expensive and the breakfast room a bit small |

Rooms are very confortable, staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is close to the Omonia metro station. At night, the neighborhood is taken over by drug addicts and their dealers. It's not totally safe, so I wouldn't recommend it if you have kids or are alone and plan on walking around at night. At night, always take a taxi back to the hotel. |

The location of the hotel is good for being able to walk to main sites. The constant background music drove us mad. The prices for all extras in the hotel (apart from breakfast - €12) are outrageous. €18 for internet connection in the room, €5.50 for a small bottle of water from the minibar. |

The hotel and its services/amenities were within my expectations. A small suggestion - the hotel may wish to consider giving complimentary bottled water and coffee/tea making facility in the room. I'm sure this would not cost much and would be a great convenience for your guests. Thank you. |

There was a mix up with our booking which meant we were moved to another hotel for one night. However on return, we were upgraded to a suite and the room was lovely. The breakfast was really good and the rooftop swimming pool is lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. My only complaint is that we were sent to another hotel which was not of the same standard to the Melia. However they did make up for this on our return. |

I likes the rooftop pool and bar although there could have been a few more sunbeds around the pool in the day. Our room was a bit small and I did not think it was worth 120 euro, particularly as the breakfast is extra. |

Hotel is very modern and comfortable. Considering that Athens is very expensive the hotel is good value for the price. The area it is located in has easy access to the metro system therefore can quickly get to all the tourist sites. The roof top bar and pool is absolutely luxurious. The area did not have any interesting things to do around it - for instance it was almost impossible to find a restaurant walking distance from the hotel. |

Great hotel. Close to Omonia metro station. Pool on the roof and view at night when it becomes a bar/restaurant. Free internet in lobby and roof. Pool closing at 6 pm. Few restaurants in close vicinity. |

We spent 3 days at the hotel so we chose it mainly for its location downtown, near to the subway and other nice places that one usually wants to visits when in Athens. We definitelly liked the rooftop- at night it is particularly romantic - very suited for couples ... We did not like the "our way or the highway" style of the hotel stuff.... Also, the fact that the rooftop garden opens at 10AM, the bar opens at 11AM and the reception bar maybe even later was pretty disturbing since we could not enjoy any morning coffee nor mornining swimm during our stay.. |

The breakfast was good , it is a bit close to the Acropolis and the Metro is close by so will be helpful to move around It would be great if there was a provision for coffee/tea maker in the rooms, the rroms were a bit small, their lounge ws sad and not good restaurants |
