Friendly Staff, perfect view of Acropolis from the pool deck that just awesome. Considering that There aren't many things to do in Athens, stay relaxing in the hotel was very nice.

Nice and cosy rooms, warm decoration, jacuzzi bathtub in delux rooms not only in suites, friendly staff. The view from the roofgarden was awesome,especially at night.

Our room was in the inner side of the hotel and it was a bit smaller than what we expected, but comfort though. The area located doesn't have a safety "vibe" but we didn't have any problems on the street..

Receptionist was unfriendly and not very helpful . The area was a little unsafe, we descovered nicer areas to stay in Athens.

The pool is veryenjoyable with a sensational view on the Acropolis and the Lycabethus.

Not enough light in the corridors

The staff is very bossy Online, it states that they have a private shuttle to the airport. Their "private shuttle" are city taxis (known as public transportation in every other city). They charge 5 euro to call the taxi (which are already conveniently parked right outside the hotel). The taxis charge 35 euro flat fare to the airport. If you let the hotel call one for you the price jumps up to 40 euro. And they are very very very pushy if you try to get into another taxi to avoid the extra 5 euro cost. Seriously... 5 euro for a phone call??

Hotel room was comfortable

The listing said there was an airport shuttle but when we arrived the hotel said there was not one....incorrect listing on website.

Lovely staff, pleasant stay, clean hotel, spacious rooms, great room service and house keeping...

The roof terrace had not opened despite the weather been great, I would have deffinetly enjoyed a few drinks up there had it been foreseen..

Clean and quiet hotel with kingsize beds close to the subway

Since the last time we stayed the bath robes had gone and the slippers had gone too! The bathrooms need renovation urgently. The jacuzzi spouts fell apart!!! And the food we ordered could have been much better. We have been returning customers for the past 5-6 yrs also bringing our friends along but i would think again about returning, i'm sorry to say we were dissapointed

The price for the facilities offered was very good and staff were very helpful.

Very modern rooms! The spa bath was a great addition!

The price of breakfast was too high for Greek standards.

The location is just 5mins walk to omonia station, clean comfortable as 4 stars hotel should have.

The staff's attitude was just terrible, not so friendly. Internet connection need extra charge, n the free Internet at e lobby was very unstable.

no tea or coffee farcilities in the room limited TV chanels the BBC News gets tired after 2 days international travellers won't learn the language if they are only staying a week

I thought that the hotel was very comfortable but the location was not satisfactory. There were many drug users loitering in the vicinity of the hotel and did not feel safe once it got dark because there were many intimidating people around the hotel. For this reason I would not recommend the Melia hotel for future business trips to Athens.

The rate was key on my decision, feasibility to book on internet at an excellent rate, for sure the location is great to go to down town.

Food at breafkfast and options in the restaurant were limited.

Long distance phone service was way too expensive! Ten times more expensive then my previous hotel earlier in the week in Cyprus.

it was weird that they charged from wi-fi as a 14 euro per day .Also when i was in reception they charged cheaper than my payments for 1 night staying from 2 people although im only one. room was ok and clean breakfast is simple but also ok . also i had 7 minute phone call from room and they charged 40 euro for this too . They should inform about the prices and should maybe make higher price and include internet or some other things . It looks cheap for this quality of hotels

Great location, can wall safely Up to thé acropole and fameous district around, hôtel is nice and clean, staff helpful.. Only great comments!

I am not sure if its really a five star hotel as I think the comfort and teh fasciities are not upto five star mark

We had requested for gluten free breakfast at the time of our booking. No one had a clue about it. AT the time of check in we were promised that we will be served Gluten free breakfast later we found out it was just a empty promise. To our surprise the second morning it was the same. I was rudely told that they will refund our breakfast money which they never did.

Comfort. Has everything you need

Well-designed and spacious room and general air of quality and comfort in the hotel. Wonderful views including the Acropolis from the roof-top restaurant.

The food in the cafe and restaurant was disappointingly non-Greek. The area around the hotel is rather run-down after four years of recession on Greece.

Good hotel, reasonable 4 star, we had a good deal for 75 € night

It's a bit dark, but the hotel and the surroundings. Pool closes at 6 and dinner only opens at 8

the sky lounge view and the service byt he bar.

The breakfast need to be update and also wasn't enought stuff to please all the guests.
