A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located by the Temple of Olympion Zeus. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.

Overlooking Pedion Areos Park, the Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens features free Wi-Fi and is in a safe area of the city, a 5-minute walk from Victoria Metro Station.
Score from 636 reviews Good
WiFi is free in the lobby area and needs to be paid if you wont to use it your room. This is the only important downside of the hotel. However, if you sign for Melia card you are given WiFi access in the rooms.
Melia Athens offers spacious (we had one with jacuzzi), nicely decorated rooms. The reception staff is very helpful and gave us tips about free museums and interesting events in Athens. Metro station is couple of minutes from the hotel, but the Parliament and other tourist sites can be also reaches by foot. The hotel has smoking rooms which we appreciated. The room was very clean so we could not smell the cigarette odor.
There was no food after 11 pm. I mean nothing.
It had a good location.
Wifi is only free in reception.
Good location . Staff are superb. Room is excellent .
The room was very small compared to the price. It was very cold in room, was suggested change the room which was very uncomfortable for us.
unfortunately, the area is a bit run down, but even though we were a group of 3 young ladies, we never really felt uncomfortable. the rooftop-terrasse is closed until may, which is sad - it would be nice to have a look over the city, even though the pool and bar aren't working yet. We booked a room for 3 people. What we got was a room for 2 with an extra bed for the third person. The extrabed was a bit small, but ok - but it should be mentioned by booking that it's only an extra bed. A tall person wouldn't fit in!
The place is very central, in walking distance to all the mustseens in athens. The hotel is nice, clean, and has a nice fitness room and rooftop-terrass
Breakfast was way too expensive Swimming pool was still closed even tho it was already hot.
We have absolutely loved the hotel, the staff as so amazing and helpful, specially the girl with Dark hair (forgot her name) she's amazing and we felt very comfortable staying there.
Breakfast room on the mezzanine was awfully cold.
Very competitive prices, "level experience" room is good value for money.
Rooftop bar only open for summer season Only free Wi-Fi in lobby
Overall comfort of rooms
I wish they d provide a kettle in the room. It's located near omomia square, which isn't safe at night
The breakfasts are great, Staff very help full, rooms great,
very good bed, nice breakfast, nears exachiar place with all it´s cafes and restaurant (don´t miss Rififi)
the swimming pool was shut for refurbishment, would have liked to have access to see the views of Acropolis
Excellent staff, felt ill last day and was allowed a late checkout last minute, cleanliness, quality of the room, room jacuzzi, Turkish bath, close to metro (3 mins walk)
We requested for double bed and upon arrival, they mentioned that the bed request is subject to availability. I mean, you're Melia. Can't you at least inform me in advance that the room I requested for was not available? They offered us an upgrade to Junior Suite "at a special rate". So they offered upgrade at a reduced price of 35 euro/ night instead of 50. And "reduced price for breakfast by 6 euros, IF you are willing to upgrade". Might as well don't say anything. Furthermore, as we booked with a different card that we brought on my trip, we had to ask someone at home to scan the proof of my booking. Upon arrival, we were told that a picture of the front and the back of the credit card would be sufficient. The next day, the other person at reception asked for passport copy. The last day when we checked out at 6 in the morning, the other reception person said that documents we sent were "still insufficient as we asked for authorisation form". we understand that you need all these documents for security purposes, but can't you tell us everything you need at one go? We were on holiday and we had to ask for people at home to assist us and it was inconvenient to keep having to ask for different documents to be scanned everyday. The wifi at the room sucks, took forever to upload a document.
The hotel is located at the city centre and the room is nice as well.
Free Wifi only in the common spaces and not in the room is so out of time. A lot of traffic and noise.
Cleaning lady ringning the door all the time at 9 20 and then on 11 00. After the ring she entered immediately. Poor cleaning - to indicate that the flowers should be out from the room you need to take to the basket only not to put near. The dust was never wiped. Once we were waken up by the waterfall from the ceiling Sound isolation is extremely poor - you here the other room phone call. Be ready to find out if someone is smoking in the other toilet. The AC program is set once and for all the hotel. The breakfast seems to come the day before. It will surprise you with the quality as soon you've been to the other hotels in Greece. Especially 4 star+. The kettle must be not 2 euros extra charge and must not stink as a dirty pool in hot summer. Maybe for 2 star for sure.
They upgraded me to a better room for free! Although I ended up staying only for a couple of hours and then I had to check out due to business reason, everything was great!
Wow, what a gorgeous Hotel, in every way!!! I was most impressed with the outstanding staff!!! They made my birthday extra special!!! Thank you all!!!
I booked a suite and had to ask for an Iron everyday as they wont let you keep it, I expect this kind of facility in a suite. The room was nice but not large and the views are average (just a street view)
The room service food was excellent, room was well decorated and nicely furnished
Had many issues with the WIFI. I have called the reception many times and they have been very willing to assist but unfortunately internet was not working properly. Especially as a business traveller this is very important.
Location is great. Hotel stuff has been friendly.
We got some great recommendations from the staff. There were some nice bars nearby open late.
Rooms had ZERO view of Athens and look upon an office block, which can look directly back into your room! Room service would walk in every few hours, can one have too much service? Roof top bar was closed for the season, this was the main reason I stayed there! Wifi bandwidth was very very bad, took a long time to download work related files. A bit expensive IMHO.
Friendly, helpful staff, jacuzzi in my own room, and cheapish room service / food. Nice location! Everything super clean.
WiFi good but had to pay to use it.
Good location for public transport and walking distance of many tourist sites and facilities.
No free WIFI, too small bed
The only disadvantage is the expensive breakfast
Near metro station
I can't praise this place enough... I was glad to have stayed here as I have never before visited Athens. The staff were a comfort at times when I was unsure of where to go. The road the hotel is on is named after a great event of 28th of October so is memorable. Lots of shops and food nearby. All the museums and sites are near. Recommend taking a tour bus (90 mins round trip) on your first day to get your bearings. Then the place is your oyster !!
They dont care the reservation details (bed type prefer). They give the bed whithout caring my request. After warn them they changed the room with smaller room. The reservation time and the customer request they dont care!!!!
