Fantastic view from the room balcony and restaurant, close to a very nice village

Amazing views and very friendly staff.

We stayed in a ground floor room, and the terrace opened straight onto the pool area, so wasn't that private. Plus any of the rooms on the first floor and above had better views. We booked late, and only the ground floor rooms were free for a double.

the setting; the view from the balconies across the bay to Sithonia; the friendly staff and Natasha's welcoming presence; the happy atmosphere; the cleanliness of our room; the view in the mornings, evenings, the ever changing light. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the charming village of Afitos.

my bed was a bit hard!

The rooms are great, clean, a good size with a balcony and have the most amazing views over the bay/sea The staff are very helpful and friendly with an excellent knowledge of the town and surrounding area, nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is perfect and within minutes of the small and friendly town and beach/bars. Breakfast was fresh and a good variety of fruit, cereal, hams, cheese, breads, cakes etc. Once of the nicest hotels we have stayed in and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

The friendly staff (namely Natasha) are very friendly and make you feel at home. The view is incredible from every room - a true piece of paradise. The general feel at the hotel is relaxed and quiet - and just what we were looking for on a break away for the 2 of us. The location is fantastic, being a short walk from the small village square with many little restaurants and shops, and the beach is an approximate 10 minute walk down the back of the hotel and down a steep hill. No problem if you don't mind a bit of a small trek. If you have hired a car there is a large car park out the back of the hotel directly opposite which is free of charge, very handy. Overall we had a fantastic experience at this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future. Afitos the actual town is stunning and a very rare ancient village, with a preservation order instilled so not as built up and commerical as some of the surrounding towns - it is a real gem.

Nothing except for the bath tap which overhangs the bath in an awkward position and you might end up hitting your head or body whilst getting in or out the bath - other than that silly point, nothing at all.

Loved the views and the 'smallness' of the hotel. All staff were lovely and friendly. Close to town and the beach despite being on the hill.

Because of its position it did not get evening sun and this made it cold in the evening. Breakfast was boringly the same every day.

Location is great, close to fabulous beach and the village center. Views of the beach and sea are amazing.

Cleaning needs slight improvement.

The Rigas hotel is a stunning boutique hotel with views (one of the best views I've ever experienced) over the Aegean sea. The staff (especially the owner) at the hotel were extremely attentive from the moment I stepped through the door to the moment I left at the end of my holiday; always addressing you by name, nothing was too much trouble for them. As there are only 20 or so rooms (all with a magical sea view), you definitely get a feeling of exclusivity and luxury. Always a sun or day bed available and very chilled background music playing through the day. I would not hesitate to return - next time for longer!

There is little to complain about with regards to the Rigas Hotel. My main criticism would be the lack of choice for breakfast. Whilst the lunch menu is limited, this is no problem as there is a plethora of fresh fish and greek restaurants to choose from across the cliff top.

Wonderful place, amazing view, great service, very nice staff. Great place to relax. We will visit this hotel again.

It is one good hotel with nice view. The owner and the staff were very polite and friendly. We can really enjoy relaxing atmosphere in an interesting village.

Fantastisch uitzicht, prima kamer en badkamer, en de manager (Natasha?) is een altijd vrolijke, gastvrije en efficiënte vrouw.

Fantastisk utsikt både från balkong och från poolområde. Den finaste stranden i området ligger strax nedanför hotellet. Nära till restauranger och shopping. Grymt ställe!

-Din toate camerele este o vedere minunata asupra marii -Terasa hotelului desi mica dar frumos amenajata (cam putina umbra) -S-a facut curatenie in fiecare zi, si au schimbat prosoapele -Aerul conditionat functiona bine, dar un pic zgomotos -Barul hotelului functiona de la 9 dimineata pana 12 seara. Preturile erau ok ca si in celelalte baruri.

-Camera era foarte mica. Noi am cumparat camera pt.3 Persoane la 160 euro/zi si am primit o camera care era si pt.2 Persoane mica. Cand am reclamat au zis ca toate sunt la fel!! Acest lucru ne-a facut sa ne simtim pacaliti si ne-a cam stricat dispozitia pe primele zile. -Baia era la fel de mica ca si camera, cada nu avea perdea. Dupa dus toata baia inota in apa. -Micul dejun era sub ori ce critica. Putina, de joasa calitate, untul topit, omleta rece si verde, un fel de cas si un fel de sunca. Prajitorul semi defect prajea painea doar pe o singura parte. Hotelul are 4 stele? De ce? -Piscina si locul de plaja in jurul ei era mica dar cocheta. Acest lucru nu era deranjant pana la aparitia unor familii care nu puteau sa-si astampere copii dar nici macar pe ei insisi. Urlau si sareau in apa ore in sir. -Plaja era foarte departe cei care nu au masina trebuie sa aiba o conditie fizica buna. Cand am fost noi plaja era foarte-foarte aglomerta. Apa marii exclenta!!

Such a lovely hotel, in amazing afitos. Great location with view overlooking the coast! Staff were super helpful and friendly. The hotel room and communal areas were always clean!
