Good and friendly welcome and service
A family-run business. Beautiful 12th century building. Room with a view of the water. Excellent value. Our friendly host waited up until we arrived to check us in (our flight was delayed) until 12:30AM, and greeted us with shots of the local alcohol. Check-out time was flexible. A short (and beautiful) walk into the main port town. Free parking right outside. Archaeological site about 50 metres away from the front door!
Air conditioning in our room wasn't working... but then it was the end of the holiday season- I expect it had been used a lot in the previous months! Didn't end up being a big problem anyway, as we got a nice sea breeze in from the window.
The hostess was very friendly and the location was perfect. Within 5 minutes i was in the city center and looking from my window i had a beautifull sea view! Wonderfull place to stay!
The owner, sofia, is lovely and very helpful. The rooms are in a great city centre location with a sea view!
Near the center, very nice woman
crappy building, hard to find
very nice owner, old town around, easy to find, clean room
after midnight there was music playing somewhere outside
in the city center
wifi connection was often interrupted
Very very friendly stuff, thanks so much Sophia for you hopitality :) Air conditioning + sea view
Bathroom is after taking shower under water cause there is no shower curtain
Wonderful and very helpful hostess, great location, amazing apartment with all the necessary stuff in it, internet was working with no problems. Me and my friends were really happy with our choice to spend the night in Room 47!
Very noisy.. sometimes you feel like you sleep in the street, cause sound isolation is not so good..
window without glass,
- Maria, the owner of the hotel, is one of the persons who doesn't know the word impossible. - Hotel is very old and of course it shows, but staying in a house almost 1000 years old is really something. - Harbor is close, just few minutes walk.
- Beaches not even close.

Friendly owner, near the old town, beautiful view.
The room with a balcony, the host, and the location was a plus. For the price you can't go wrong. My room opened out onto a seaview. Some music from next door was quite nice. Some cruzy electronic mix. And the breeze is great on hot afternoons. The host Sophia was incredible and does her best to accommodate people.
lovely old building, location
difficulty in locating owner on occasions
Homely, cosy atmosphere, best ever hostess, Sofie <3
Everything was very much ok
It's a typical old house close to the centre, and the owner is nice. The room had a view to a nice little garden.
Since the house has wooden floors, you hear every step upstairs. The bed was no very comfortable.
Sofia the owner is a very good host. She stayed awake as we had checked in very late and even offered a bottle of good wine realising it was our first visit to Greece. The rooms offer good view to the old harbour.
The host, Sonya, was amazing. Very friendly and inviting. If you are looking for a quiet place near the old port...that is not too expensive, this is the place!
The Wifi was hit and miss. Some moments it was great and other times you could not get a connection for over 10 minutes.
It's near of everything in Chania and you can go in all places walking. Sofhia, who owns the place, is extremely outgoing, kind and helpful.. When we arrived it solved several issues for me and my friends.
It is very old but it is really comfortable and the location was great!! Sofia the owner is great
POOR PLUMBING & PLASTIC FLOWERS GOTHIC
The owner is incredibly kind person and helpful person. The place is at Chania's old town which is perfect for sightseeing.
It's a very old building, hence I guess the of any refurbishment is massive. Nevertheless, the place is old and would require some attention and cleaning.
Sofia was very kind, the room was more than enough
Altough there are cheaper places, this one is nice and the location is quiet
The owner is so friendly. The room with a balcony overlooking the harbor was heavenly! In a very historic 1000 year old building. Quiet but close to everything.
