Rotonda Hotel  

It was really nice. Cosy rooms, friendly staff and the breakfast was amazing :)

It was nice for the price, clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful. Not so far from the center.

I think that Rotonda Hotel does everything ok, but not exceptionally well. It's a fair price. Perhaps the biggest advantage is its location: opposite the Railway St.

The room looked just a bit poor. Having said that, I have to admit that it did have almost everything (tv, ac, refr..) and was also pretty clean. My question was the decoration, I guess.

The price is very good, and the rooms are comfortable. The double room has two separate single beds.

The location is not that good. You aren't that far from the center, but the area seems abandoned.

Having stayed there last December and enjoying our stay immensely we decided to repeat our visit this year. Very well located close to bus station so convenient for getting around Thessaloniki. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly hence our reason for booking again. It is also very useful to have limited car parking on site.

I liked the price . It has free parking posibilities . and children stay free untill 12 years old.

the hotel was a little too far from the city centre for walking around. Fine for one night if coming in by bus or train like us.

Next to the modern train station with many shops, cafes, car hire. Good breakfast, nice city view from 6th floor balcony. All things considered a good budget choice.

Location about 2km from centre, busy street, no nice tavernas close, only take-aways. Thin pillows. Shower water takes a long time to get hot. Aircon didnt work very well, temp hovered in mid-20's - might be a problem in high summer.

Proximity to railway station. Value for money. Good breakfast. Free access to internet.

We liked that it is close to the city centre and it was very clean. Rooms are very nice and spacey, LCD, A/C, balcony, safe, fridge... all very nice, modern and functional. Breakfast was very good, just right for the price, and nice variety that would keep you satisfied for a few days. Stuff is very professional.

Shower tub curtain in our room (505) was strangely positioned so no matter how carful we were, we got water all over the bathroom, and almost in the main part of the room. Curtain was across half of the bathroom, and tub was half of that... So, soaking wet towels.... Door is not good so it bangs every time anyone in the hall opens or closes their door! Room maid, while was cleaning other rooms on our floor, was so loud that woke us up in 8 o'clock, and kept us woke till 9:30... Well, than we had to go to the breakfast... Parking! What parking? It is gravel covered yard that can accommodate up to six or seven cars very strangely positioned... it's not safe, not clean, not big enough... And that was one of our main reasons to choose this hotel, what we stated in booking form. So we had to park elsewhere.

The hotel is well located near Accropolis, Plaka, Monastiraki, the staff was very helpful and cordial, the whole place was immaculate, breakfast was excellent. I beleive the hotel earns a 4-5 stars.
