The location, view and lobby
Not a 5 star hotel, not Even close. Terrible food in the restaurant with horrible prices. 14 euros for a sallad with lettuce and apples. Expected more from the rooms
the water in the shower was not good enough
Wi-Fi Location Good view from the roof restaurant
Heating was not working. Bathroom ventilation was not working. Mould in the bathroom. Very noisy toilet flush.
Location, amazing view from top floor restaurant
Bathroom needs upgrade
Great location The sky bar Breakfast Very friendly staff at the outside of the hotel Value for money, though the room we got was quite worn.
The view from the room (Facing a wall) Demeanour of some of the staff at the reception desk, not client oriented at all. Hotel is not a 5* standard. Rooms and interior generally quite worn.
The room, the balcony, the view .. The food ,,, everything
That the gym was hard to get to
All we like,
Should have a cattle in the room :)
The location was excellent, the view from the breakfast room was stunning and the foyer was very grand. Also, the hotel had good wifi
The hotel was simply not a 5 star hotel. It was perhaps a 3 or 3.5 star hotel. The room, bathroom and facitlites were a like a motel. The room was comfortable enough, but certainly not the luxury that you'd expect from a 5 star hotel.
unfriendly staff poor wifi (disconnects)
The roof garden in the 7th floor
The gig distance between the lift and some rooms
- Very well located - beautiful Building and Architecture and royal facilities - beautiful rooms
-No coffee and tea facilities available in the room - No complementary water
We were upgraded and had a fabulous view and a superb room. We loved the location as handy to walk to most places.
Hard to get a coffee some days and no tea or coffee facilities in our room.
Super comfortable bed, very good location, breakfast with amazing views of both the Acropolis and the temple of Olympian Zeus, very friendly staff.
Good location and really helpful staff. Excellent view from the top!
The wifi was really slow. The rooms need renovation and the fixed carpet needs to be removed.
Location was ok,15 mins walk from Constituan square and Plaka, not far away from Acropolis.
There was no tea/coffee making machine, there were no plugs near the bed which was uncomfortable sometimes. It was lil bit cold in the room.Breakfast could start earlier then 7 o'clock and not so much variety and the same choice everyday.
Location - really close to main walking street, Parthenon and Temple of Jupiter (lucky will get even a view on it) Roof restaurant with AMAZING view on Parthenon & Temple of Jupiter
Small rooms (even though promoted as 'executive') - especially in right wing A waft of '80s - furnitures, facilities and in general, seems to be older than (possibly) is
- The location is superb - Free, good quality Wi-Fi (many hotels in Athens don't provide this) - View to the Zeus' Temple (unless you get the most expensive rooms you won't have this in your room but still from the bar you can have it) - Comfortable beds
- The executive room is like staying at a 3-stars hotel - Executive room doesn't have a decent desk nor even a chair for working - Shampoo and shower gel was not replaced
The location is great the hotel being right next to the Temple of Zeus and the rooftop restaurant has a very nice view of both the Temple of Zeus and the Acropolis.
The furniture in the room was relatively old and the room had an overall "old" feel....not what you normally expect from a 5* hotel though.
Location: close to all important attractions of the city De Luxe room view of the Temple of Zeus Panorama restaurant on the top of the hotel with fantastic view of the Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus and the city. The breakfast was very nice.
We were there in November and the airconditioning was not yet set to heating mode, therefore the room was a little cold.
The relation Quality- Price 3 stars rooms
Perfect room with glass windows on one side of the wall to another and view of the Temple of Olympian Zeus! What else to will ... Location ideal for visiting the Acropolis, very close to metro station, very polite staff, cleanliness and environment truly 5 *****!
Size of the room. Good wifi connection. Nice roof top restaurant and wiew
Spa not working as under reconstruction. Gym outside hotel from the street. Quite noisy from the busy street.
We had an awesome view of the Temple to Zeus from our window every morning and even though we were on the first floor there was no street noise. Location location location. I couldn't have asked for better. All the attractions of Athens were walking distance from the Royal Olympic. The daily breakfast was superb with great quality and impeccable service and the view of the Parthenon was breathtaking.
There was nothing I didn't like about the Royal Olympic
Excellent location! Nice and clean every where! Hotel looks amazing!
Breakfast - staff need to do more attention about cleaning tables from plates! And they should offer a tea or coffee to the tables! And reception - they call me around 20min before check out to remind me don't for get to check out! Small thing, but they should call after check out time if i'm not still done check out.
