Royal Olympic Hotel

・１泊なのにバスローブがほしいといったら明朝７時以降になると言われた　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　・外線電話の使用できない部屋だった

ロケーションが大変よく市内観光、ショッピングに便利。また、周囲の環境がよく中心地に近い割りに静かであ- る。ロビーは重厚で豪華。Rateはリーズナブルである。

スタッフは人にもよるが必ずしも親切ではない。朝食（ビュッフェ）はヴァラエティに欠け、特に野菜が少なく- 感じた。また料理が少なくなっても補充はしない。バスルームは清潔であるが旧式で、フラッシングの音がすさ- まじく、夜中は寝ている人を起こしてしまうほど。予備の毛布に焼け焦げがあった。

バスタブ付きの部屋に変更をお願いしたところ、スタッフがすぐに対応してくれ、荷物を運んでくれた。

フロントで近くにあるレストランを聞いたところ、とても素敵なレストランを推薦してくれたので楽しい食事が- できた。ロケーションも最高だった。

ホテルは古い建物ながら内装はしっかりしていて非常に綺麗。部屋も思ったよりも広くて快適だった。値段もハ- イシーズンの割りに手頃に利用できました。

他の方の評判でも見ていましたが、フロントスタッフ(特に女性)の対応が非常に悪い。インターネットが繋が- らない部屋だった為、船の出港時間が確認できず、フロントに確認したところ(コンシｪルジュはない)、｢港- に行けば分かります。｣と一言。国民性なのか分かりませんが、5つ星ホテルの対応とは思えません。

場所とロビーの雰囲気はよい。 しかし、部屋はきれいであり、滞在にあまり支障はないが古い感じは多少ある。

朝食が毎日同じもので飽きる上、質も低い。

Location.

It took 30min to check in, even though I arrive at 2:30pm, no drink while waiting, I had to keep asking them. Restaurant on the roof is run poorly, service not good, food average. My bed wasn't made properly, def not a 5star experience.

Hotel staff are unfriendly and most of the time can't help with questions of any kind. Staff in breakfast room are inefficient. You won't expect such service in a five star hotel.

Great location near the Acroplis and Plaka. Great views specialy on the roof bar/restaurant.

The reception personal is not friendly prestable or capable of giving you a good information.

The close proximity of the hotel to the Acropolis, and Sitagma (Constitution Square). Some of my problems during my stay (cockroach in the room) were dealt with expediently.

The full buffet breakfast did not include requests for fried or poached eggs as all inclusive (this was an extra charge). Considering it was a 5 star hotel this was very disappointing. My hotel stays all round the world have included fried or poached eggs as all inclusive in buffet breakfast. Also choice of ceeal was sub-standard. Also my son misplaced his mouth guard and I am still waiting for the result of the housekeeping search.

I loved the rooftop restaurant, the food and view were fantastic. The lobby area was also very nice.

I thought our room was small and more like a 4 star hotel rather than 5 star. The bathroom was particularly cramped and basic. One of the male receptionists also told us there was no airport bus from the city when there is!? (I wrote this already on a comment card already).

The friendliness and the professional look of the staff. Also the Hotel location near the historical areas, shops and malls is excellent.

value for money. Having travelled in the Middle East and Asia and stayed in 5 star hotels the Royal Olympic fell far short of our expectations. The junior staff, porters and general waiters, waitresses displayed far more professionalism. Middle management were somewhat aloof and condescending, some members of the front desk was just dismissive in their tone when enquiries were made. The primary purpose of any hotel is to servre the guest and make them feel comfortable and relaxed. There were certain elements within senior management that lacked these basic fundamental PR abilities.,
