Saga Hotel  

Wonderfully friendly hotel in a great location. The family who run this treat everyone as a family member. We stayed here on two separate occasions using Poros as a base for a sailing holiday at the beginning and end of the trip and it was lovely to come back after a week on a boat. During the second stay they were having a family lunch outside and they kept bring us over more food and their wonderful home made wine. I had a better feeling leaving this hotel than many 5 star hotels I have stayed at.

There seemed to be many nicer hotels closer although this one was very nice. Quiet, good breakfast, wifi, great views of the city. 10 min walk to the center. Very agreeable

Great pool. We were invited and attended a family wedding.Wonderful and knowledgeable staff.

Rooms were clean, the roof terrace was nice (great view), the pool was nice. Location was very good.

Breakfast wasn't very good (not a lot of choices). The hotel could use a little renovation / renewing). We had to wait for about 20 minutes to check out from the hotel.

This is truly a warm and inviting hotel, with comfortable rooms and wonderful breezy balconies overlooking the pool. Small touches like a clothesline with pins discretely connected to the balcony railing, a welcome drink of juice or ouzo upon checking in, and the friendliness and warmth of the owners Zefi and Takis make this a wonderful choice for a relaxing and fun vacation. A nice beach is easily walkable and there are nearby places to rent ATVs to drive all around this beautiful green island with striking little bays and beaches. Proximity to Spiros Taverna, for the best meal I had in Poros, Athens and Naxos, is a plus.

Be careful on the front steps, as it can be slippery when wet.

Lovely place. Great location, clean and comfortable, good facilities including lovely pool, very friendly staff, good breakfast. Everything you'd want a hotel to be. I've stayed there before and I'll stay there again!

Maybe a little expensive, but as breakfast is included and it was August, not too bad really...

It is not that I did not like anything, its just that is a small family hotel, far from any luxuries.it is clean ok but nothing more. It has a swimming pool though.

Pool was great and the poolside bar was nice for our older parents travelling with us. Room seems a bit cramped and old at first glance but worked out well and liked the shower and enclosure. Staff very helpful and breakfast was just fine.

As with all greek hotels, beds are too hard and more pillows need to be available as many of us use more than one flat pillow. Could not sleep more than 7 hours or back became stiff.

Friendly and welcoming management. Excellent views from the hotel. Proximity to beaches and town was good. Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast was most appreciated.
