We stayed in the superior room and it was really nice, new furniture and modern bathroom (the shower even had a hook to hold it up something alot Greek bathrooms don't seem to have). The hotel is also located right beside a super market, outdoor cinema and the beach and town square are only a short walk.
Air con and fridge were very noisy in room, breakfast wasn't great and they didn't have a full time receptionist except the poor teenage daughter who seemed like she would rather be somewhere else. Also the pool was very chemically!!

Location, swimming pool, friendly staff
The bed was so hard it gave me bruises
Everything was great, very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful
Hotel and facilities very clean Swimming pool
Everything is done by a 12-year old girl, parents are nowhere around
The facilities was the only thing that we liked in this hotel.
The staff was not changing the towels which were really rough and the breakfast was really bad. We had big problems with the internet connection and the staff was never serving on time. Sometimes we were asking the same things three and four times per day to get them.
Rooms were rather big. The pool was nice. Staff was helpful in its own way. They also accepted that I pay no penalty fees even though I left two days earlier for personal reasons.
The day before my arrival, it was impossible to figure out whether the room would be available for an early check-in as I have asked on Booking.com. On the first evening I received the visit of two big cockroaches; this is probably due to the overall situation of the town of Naxos. A staff member exterminated one of them and did some kind of disinfection the day after. Then the hotel owners gave me a new room on the following morning; I only met tiny ants there, but this problem was resolved a few minutes later. On the third day, while I was at the beach, a received a call from the hotel asking me if I am nearby, because my key was the only one of the room given that a previous client had left taking the key with him. So the room was cleaned only on the fourth day of my stay. When checking out, I was asked if I could pay cash "because that is the way it usually happens". I could not, that is why I had to spend some time until the owner found a way to charge a regular credit card. No receipt was provided.
rude receptionist, bad service
Great location, staff and price!
No problems whatsoever
That when we checked out the drove us to the port.
Cockroaches. Old, stiff and scratchy towels. Wifi very spasmodic. Garbage bin by the pool often overflowing. Rooms not properly cleaned. Breakfast wasn't good. Staff (especially the youngest girl) not at all friendly or customer caring. They really do need to smile and greet guests.
Everything. Room had a broken shower, ants in the bathroom, broken furniture. A murky pool and the most unpleasant, rude, unapproachable owner/ manager I have ever encountered.
The hotel was extremely clean, the family that run the hotel were polite and helpful. The pool was a decent size, and our room overlooking the pool was perfect. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Very happy.
Had such a great stay at sagterra!the lady who ran it was so lovely!helped us out with towels and washing then ended up taking us to the port which was so helpful!such a relaxing environment and I'd def recommend this hotel to anyone.nice and close to a supermarket and close enough to the beach!but the pool was amazing it was hard to pull away from that!thanks for having my friend and I we loved it!
The pool was great as was the geadens!! The cleaning staff friendly and helpful!!
Not usually one to whinge about hotels but, 1. Air conditioning, fail 2. Lady at front desk, fail 3. Shower broken, fell out of wall had to fix my self, fail 4. Aerial broken had to pull it apart and fix myself, fail 5. Children basically running hotel, fail 6. Apparently cash only, fail 7. First night wrong room, fail
Service and hospitality.
Our private balcony was on the street side. Shared balcony at Garden side but no table and chairs. Owners not welcoming, not friendly. Showering in stages related to water pressure. Broken window. Cabinet with elastic to keep close. Rusted kitchen cabinets. Towel rack was broken. Price-quality absolutely out of proportion!!! Not worth 2 stars.
We just left Naxos after a two week visit. This is the second year we stayed at Sagterra for two full weeks, and the reason is simply that the Korakiti family is running a very nice family hotel! You feel genuinely welcome to Sagterra and the family is always available to help you with practical questions and advice. Sagterra is located in a calm area and offers basic rooms and facilities. It's not luxurious, but clean and the garden/pool area is very cosy and well maintained. We really enjoyed "after beach" by the pool after the short walk back from the local beach, St George's. There is a big Supermarket just across the street from Sagterra, which makes it very convenient to buy drinks, fruits and ice cream. We are already looking forward to coming back in 2015 :-)
Great pool. Great rooms, especially overlooking pool. Breakfast was reasonable. All very new-seems renovated recently.
Staff were hard to find at times and a little disorganized. The showers took ages to go from like warm to hot. That's just me being fussy because there's little else to complain of.
Nice space, room layouts
The staff seamed to not be around most of the time. Tvs were a little basic
