Samos Hotel    

An older style multi-storey waterfront hotel that has been extensively renovated and modernised. Impressed as being directed at the business traveller as well as tourist market. A small (300 kg limit) functional elevator. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent views of the harbour from front rooms. Good bed. Accessible power points. Sound proofing was good. A business seminar was in progress in the ground floor restaurant area while we were staying but had zero impact on us. Pleasant professional staff.

The suites have a spa-bath with hand held shower and may be a bit challenging for the elderly, infirm or portly. Suggest that you check that your room has a shower stall before booking if this is an issue.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable room with good facilities. The hotel is very convenient to Samos town etc. Very adequate breakfast - excellent value for money. This was our second stay at Samos Hotel and we look forward to another visit.

Hotel is good for Samos. Near the harbor. But if you want to travel the all island you need to rent a car but there is very little to rent a car. Samos hotel is in the centre of the Vathi but Vathi is not turistical area. Also you can stay in Vathi and easly go the turistical era if you rent a car

the pool was small - not like the pictures. the hotel is a bit old. the water in the bathroom was not always hot. they did not refill the breakfast so when we went to eat at 9.30 the buffet was almost empty.

The hotel has the ideal location for those coming or going on the main island ferries-just 50 or so meters from the pier. There is a fine bar for waiting or enjoying the waterfront views. The hotel is well run, friendly, clean and efficient. The rooms are a little spartan and small, but have lovely views.

Breakfast-emphasis more on quantity than quality. Orange water ratherthan orange juice was awful. Coffee was thin. Various products were industrial grade.

Rooms are small but functional. Would recommend if sleeping over for ferry connection, for longer stays, there may be better value elsewhere.

The 1st room (318) with a see view was very small, mountain view rooms (430) a few inches larger and makes a big difference. This hotel was once a grand lady, but the wrinkles are starting to show.

Great location next to ferry terminal. The staff are very friendly even though this is a larger hotel. Good breakfast. We had an early arrival and were allowed check in as soon as the room was cleaned. We liked the rooms with the sea views to watch the ferries.

Bu samos oteldeki ikinci konaklamamız. Geçen yıl da aynı mevsimde gitmiştik. O zaman ilk gidişimiz olduğu için biraz tereddüt etmiştik. Ne de olsa iki çocukla gidiyorduk. Ancak yerinde bir tercih yapmışız. Juniou suit iki çocuklu aileler için ideal. Bizimkiler 7 ve 11 yaşındalar. Önünüzde Vathi Limanı, sakin bir liman caddesi. Feribottan inip bir kaç adımda araba kiralayıp, birkaç adım sonra da otelde Check-in yaptırabiliyorsunuz.

Kahvaltı bizim ege kahvaltılarıyla tabii ki karşılaştırılamaz. Ama hiç olmazsa küçük paketlerde değildi. açık büfe kahvaltıda 2 çeşit peynir, 2 çeşit zeytin, domates, salatalık ve haşlanmış yumurta vardı.

Cok merkezi temiz otel calısanları kibar klasik sehir oteli , kahvaltı iyi.

Banyo cok kücük oda da kucuk balkonlarda gece dış cephe otel aydınlatma ışıgı yanıyor ve odaların içi butun gece aydınlık oluyor bu cok sevimsiz .

Todo en el hotel es correcto ... lo justo para pasar bien , aunque sin ninguna pretensiòn de " lujos " .

Es engañosa la descripciòn de la ubicaciòn del hotel ... dice a 80 metros del puerto . Esto es cierto para el barco que sale para Kusadasi ... pero los barcos que llegan desde otras islas Griegas , llegan al " puerto nuevo " que està a varios kiòmetros del hotel . Siendo en parte nuestra selecciòn en base a la ubicaciòn respecto del puerto , y el horario de llegada de nuestro barco (medianoche ) , nos resultò en ese sentido " un fiasco " .

The Samos Hotel is extremely convenient for ferry travellers to Turkey because it is meters away from the port. I also found i twas only a short 15min walk to the closest beach, Gargou. The hotel is a standard hotel with fair to small size rooms The room was comfortable and I appreciated that they had a ceiling fan as well as airconditioner and outdoor area/verandah. Mine was to the side and not up the front. The bathroom was tiny but adequate for my needs. The breakfast was served downstairs with an inside and outdoors area which was very pleasant on a summer's morning. The breakfast wasn't anything special with more variety needed.

The shower cubicule was very small and I am quite petite. The breakfast could be alot better.
