San Giorgio

Giorgio is a very nice guy and location is very convenient.

It is in the centre of Fira. Bus stop is not far away. Nice room. Especially very kind and nice people with many help.

Giorgio picked us up, gave us great ideas for spending our time on the island and was always readily available. He was absolutely right with his recommendations and it added so much value to our stay.

The service we recieved from George and staff was amazing and second to none. George's advice on where to eat, where to go, best local shops and so on, right down to driving us back to the airport after our stay was hugely beneficial to the enjoyment of our holiday.

There are comments about the small shower, yes it is small......but it's a shower. Impact to enjoyment of holiday should equal = NIL.

Location and staff.

'George' was very helpful when arriving at midnight. He told us the things to 'must' do and reccommended really great resturants. We thought the 'shuttle bus' to the airport was very convient.

In the room our shower head was broken. I told the other staff about it. They tried to fix it but couldn't. They were going to eventually replace it. This made it hard to shower as you had to hold it.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location in a quite area just few meters from the center. Free transfers from the airport and to the port was a very appeciated added value.

The hotel is right in Fira, close to restaurants and transport. It is only a couple of minutes to the caldera and the cliff walk. The room was pleasant and quiet. The staff were friendly and the manager, George, was extremely helpful and drove us himself to a midnight ferry. We were very happy with our stay at San Giorgio.

Hotel is in a excellent location, cheap and a good value for the money

Shower was broken, the owner gently offered to take us to the port (where we would take our ferry to another island), but when we called him worried that we wouldn't be there on time, he gave us a hard time and lectured us about how we should "trust people". In the end we made to the port with him, but it was a stain in what otherwise would have been a very pleasant stay.

George, the owner, speaks English well and is extremely nice, friendly and helpful. He gives great recommendations on places to visit, eat, transportation and directions. He can book you on excursions to the volcano without you having to go to the travel agent. The hotel is clean, quiet and conveniently located near the caldera, main area, bus and taxi station.

Todo. En realidad es el mejor hotel en el que hemos estado. La ubicación es perfecta, esta en el centro de Fira (a tres minutos de la estación de buses y de la Caldera), pero por la noche no hay ruido ninguno. Lo mejor de todo, sin duda ninguna, es la atenciñon al cliente. El trato que nos ha dado Giorgio fue espectacular. Fue a buscarnos al puerto y nos llevo al aeropuerto (gratis), nos recibió con un vaso de zumo y nos explicó todo lo que hay para ver en la isla, siempre simpatico y con una sonrisa. Al llegar nos ofreció dos habitaciones para elegir la que más nos gustaba. El hotel es perfecto para pasar unas vacaciones agradables en Santorini. Thank you, Giorgio!!!
