Nice people at reception. Good location, just 20km from Heraklio and rooms is 50m from beach. There is a lot of good tavernas and bars where You can go out for dinner and entertainment. A few small supermarkets You can reach, too. Apt. room was good (maybe not 4 stars, but very cousy anyway!) with own kichen, TV, 4 beds, air conditions, good bathroom and balcony. There is only one problem - it seems, that owners of Scala totally forget this place..It's not good, because in this way place lost face and heart.. great thanks for people who work there - they do their best!!! |

The location of the Apartments are beautiful and the staff in the beach front restaurants are very friendly. Staff in the apartments go out of their way to help you. The bus service down to apartments and beach in April only ran 3 times a day which meant you almost always have to walk 30mins up and down to the main road. |

We stay in April before season start (1st of May) so no breakfast available and the small poll was empty. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Rooms were spacy and there is a kitchenete including frige etc. enough to make a cofee omelet etc, air conditioning is good, Please note it is 3 plus stars, good quality |

Perfect location, friendiness, service, nice large clean rooms, we were made to feel very welcome. Relaxed friendly atmosphere. No, everything was fine and any small problems were fixed in a fast and friendly way and all our requests were met immediately with a smile. |

There were just splendid all! Very good, big room with big balkony and excellent view, nice surround, friendly and halpful staff, few steps from beautiful beach only... I think, it was the best offer by such money. |

Good view, good location from which to tour the whole island, good coffee, good parking, hotel staff very nice, with the night manager being a knight in shinning armor, being of service far and above what would normally be expected in a small hotel. At the time of our stay the hotel was having problems with their credit card machine and couldn't get a technician to come. It should not be a detourant from staying there, and hopefully it is fixed, but if you are staying for more than 2 or 3 days, be sure to check what arrangements can be made to settle the bill early on. |

Very friendly and efficient staff, close to the sea and local pubs and restaurants, really spacious rooms with nice views. The hotel rates are affordable, in fact we think they could be much higher considering the quality of facilities and service offerred. Honestly, there was nothing I would say we did not like. In fact, our children loved it and would like to go there again. |

Sorrounding. I think there isn't really a 4 star hotel rather 3 There was no internet connection, the bed clothes, and the towels are bit used, the TV's screen was the samllest I ever see, and the variety of channels was very poor. |

I really liked the view to the beach from the terace of hotel Scala. The problem was that the room we stayed was behind trees and other buildings so the beach was unreachable from our balcony!!! There was a little bit problem with the cleanliness of the room. The cleaning wasn't what we expected. |

Very clean and spacious hotel with a great outlook. We didn't really expect such a great view. We took 3 rooms and were all upgraded from a studio to an apartment at no extra cost. The staff were very helpful with anything we asked. |

Close to the beach and many restaurants, friendly staff, very good value for the money. Staff did not seem to know when the public buses were scheduled to come - since there was only one per day, that was frustrating. |

I liked everthing : the rooms are very generations, very clean. The staff is very kind. I did not like mosquitos, but I think that is not the problems of hotel but of the local authorities. |
