the rooms were nice, view into the sunset; big supermarket in walking distance; they offer a good and cheap breakfast
the beach was really poor (ugly, not clean, ruins)
Helpful, multi-lingual staff. Clean and comfortable. Nearby beach. Nearby supermarket
Quite a walk into town.
Bright well-equipped apartment with sea view. The receptionist immediately resolved a small problem, and was delightfully helpful with advice of local interest. The quiet location was ideal for us and also close to shops. We would certainly stay here again
Short walk to lovely beach, nice pool, quiet location away from roads and buildings yet short walk to good supermarket and bus stop to Chania (10 minute journey) or other resorts if wanted. Small cafe nearby. Superb value large room with nice view and useful kitchenette. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble e.g. giving helpful advice and directions or when TV didn't work properly, Would always stay here rather than in more busy resorts which are also further from Chania.
Close to a beach Easy drive to the old city and out of the city Silent A nearby supermarket (5 min walk)
No soap for washing the dishes - you'd have to ask for it. Shampoo and bathing soap given once - had to ask for more
It was close to the beach. Very, very nice receptioniste, had answers to all our questions. Ask the receptionist for restaurant Theodosis, great food. Breakfast was very good. We had a great time there. Supermarket en busstop nearby.
Further away then we thought from restaurants and bars. The walk to Chania harbour and the old town was about 30 minutes. We only stayed for 4 days. If you stay longer we recommend to have a car.
Lovely clean room with air-conditioning and clean firm bedding, one double one single and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool one way and the sea, the other. All common areas spotless as were tablecloths, room and floors. Superbly helpful management and staff, bright fun and knowledgeable.
Very little not to like about sea view. If pushed I would suggest that lift/elevator use is restricted to certain times as we could hear it from our room (206).
Sea view, polite and kind personel, kitchenette, close to Chania (~3km), close to beaches, close to market, beautiful pool. Modern bathroom.
Too little and too old furniture to keep stuff. Room seemed to require little renovation.
very very nice staff, big rooms, and good equipment quality. if you have a car to go to Chania center and don't mind driving, it's very good option with good quality
a bit far from Chania center
A great place for a relaxation, a balcony with a wonderful view of the sea. In the room we found a surprise-a bottle of wine and glasses (the anniversary of man). It was unexpected and very pleased. Enery morning we had well-prepared breakfast, delicious coffee and freshly squeezed orange juices. To Chania city leisurely walk 10 minutes , to the old town for another 10 minutes (along the sea). Pleasant service staff, always ready to help. Near the hotel (8-10 minutes) is a very good large supermarket AB. Room has a kitchenette and all necessary utensils and even a wine opener:-)
No restorans and taverns near to hotel.(But to restorans in Chania max 20 min walk!)
The professionality and the kindly of the people of Crete.
Lovely young lady on reception, all staff very friendly.Good breakfast and excellent snacks.Good beaches close with plenty of facilities. Supermarkets and bus stop just up the road.Close to Chania but quiet at night.
No restaraunts close by although a couple 15 mins away.Being woken by barking dogs.
Our stay at the hotel was excellent. Location is brilliant. 2 minutes to the beach, 3 minutes to the big shop and the bus stop, which goes directly to the city centre in 7 minutes. Walking to Chania from the hotel takes 20-25 minutes either by beach or main road. Easy to get from the airport (transfer cost with public transport is 3.5 Euro). Excellent, friendly and easygoing staff. Nice sandy and not busy beach.
Very friendly welcome, only 15 minute walk via the beach to the old town, spacious and clean rooms, nice pool, quiet location, good breakfast options and option of room service
Breakfast items not laid out in refridgerated containers.
Stayed in family room (for 3 persons) with fabulous sea view, modern and stylish accommodation and short stroll to best beach in the area. Well looked after by the delightful Zambia and staff. Enjoyed breakfast buffet each day.
the staff were really friendly and helpful. offered us lots of helpful advice for traveling to nearby locations. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the view from our 'half sea view' balcony was lovely! the old town of Chania is beautiful and well worth visiting both day and night. just a 5 min walk to the sea and a lovely stretch of sandy beaches.
rooms could be a little noisy in the mornings. we often find we walk faster than many reviews suggest, but the walk to the beautiful old town of Chania was a good 30mins walk. the first part of the walk in pitch dark on a dirt track (we had to turn back the first night because we could see where we were going!). the taxi service is great and only 6euro.
- Great location, both close to city and nice not overcrowded beaches - it was cozy and quiet inside hotel and around - swimming pool with sunbeds was a comfortable place to hide from noon heat - cleanliness - no Russians
I wish there were liquid and sponge for washing the dishes
Good position, nice staff, wonderful apartment, amazing view on the sea
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Location is great, a few mins walk to the beach and local supermarket. Lovely walk along the beach to nearby lovely restaurants. Easy to get bus to Chania, only a very short journey away. Food at Sea View is excellent. Especially the Greek salad which is second to non. I went with my 15 year old son and we had a wonderful time.
Nothing, it was perfect.
Proximity to both beach and town.
The hotel had oversold the type of room that I had booked months before and gave me another slightly inferior type without informing me upon arrival and without my consent of course. I got my original booking back next day when I realised it and complained about it.
The location was great as it was a short bus ride to Chania as well as easy access to a whole string of beaches, either on foot or by bus. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Good variety of food available and buffet breakfast was good and worth the 6€. Wifi was good. Room was large and bathroom was modern. Also enjoyed the quiet .... We would very happily go back.....
The pool was very nice but wasn't cleaned or filled for a few days. We did complain and they apologised and explained there had been a problem because of the holiday weekend.
Perfect place, fast WiFi, friendly personal (recomended perfect places for visiting, solve problema with laundry)
Excellent service from the staff. Zambia, the receptionist, was very helpful and always ready, I really don't know when she has time of :). The apartment (room) was spacious with separate balcony facing the sea, clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and bathroom modern. WiFi was ok. 2-3 Mbps download speed that is over average in hotels in my experience and usually without glitzes. The hotel is situated in Kato Daratso, that is just outside Chania but close by. Just few minutes walk to the centre of town, either by the sea or by the street above the hotel. Very good supermarket (AB) 4-5 minutes walk. Another smaller even closer if you needed a quick refill for the refrigerator.
TV was one of the smallest that I have seen for years but who travels to Crete to watch TV :) The hotel is just 20 minutes walk from the city of Chania but after dark it could be a bit scary, no lights on the way. That is no fault of the hotel, just the "tourist organisation" of Crete or the local government.
very helpful staff and good location
Fantastic location, great views, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful, nothing to complain about.
