The Golden Sun Hotel is in a prime location right across Astir Beach and near Voula Beach and is close to Glyfada's shopping center.
Score from 495 reviews Good
Centrally located in Syntagma Square in Athens, the Amalia Hotel is right across from the National Gardens. It features comfortable rooms with satellite and pay-per-view TV, and Wi-Fi internet access....
Score from 1901 reviews Excellent
A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located by the Temple of Olympion Zeus. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.
Score from 2117 reviews Very good
With a prestigious location in Syntagma Square and stunning Acropolis views, this 5-star downtown Athens hotel features a trendy restaurant and spacious guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Easy access, Glyfada Center, clean, Value for money, comfortable, parking
I was a returning customer and will certainly go back again. Probably the nicest hotel in the area.
For a hotel in this category I was very impressed with the decor and furnishings (mostly ikea I would say) and as for the beds they are possibly the most comfortable I have come across in a Greek hotel. Bathroom was clean and all in good working order. The hotel is situated fairly close to the busy coast road but we had a room at the back which was very quiet. It's only a few minutes walk to the centre of Glyfada which has a good choice of shops and restaurants. Rooms and reception/bar areas have all benefited from what must be a fairly recent and successful refurbishment. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again but see note about Wifi.
No free Wifi - a major drawback when so many hotels have free Wifi. I travel to Athens 2 or 3 times a year and would consider staying elsewhere because of the paid WiFi. The cost is not the consideration - it's the principle.
I like the location of the hotel, it's close to Glyfada's main market, close to the sea and value for money. Staff is nice in general, however some - have a lack of hotel education/behavior.
1st time I visited the hotel there were challenges with the wifi service, 2nd time it was for free and 3rd time upon charge again.
Nice area, a lot of good caffé's around hotel. Tha staff at the reception is really nice and helpfull. Glyfada has like a small centre where you can find almost all the shopa as in centre of Athens and they are 5min walk from the hotel not even that much.
The bathrooms dont have ventilators and the room for three people is not spacious enough... Also breakfast doesnt have a big choice of food offered.
as a yearly traveler to athens ,1st time ive stayed in this hotel,i definitely be staying here again
there was nothing i did not like
pool restaurants nearby quality and size of room nice breakfast flexible staff / managment tram to center and harbour at 2 min walk
rooms on front are very noisy (main road) beverages and snacks very expensive only 1 small elevator
Furnishings, breakfast and a comfortable bed.
Some fittings have become loose or weak design. Disused wires on bathroom wall covered in tape.
Room, foyer, cafe, kindness of staff, near to the beach, neat to main street in Glifada, price of the room, quality of building and furniture, cleanness, whole pleasant atmosphere
We liked everything about this hotel. The staff are so very kind and helpful . They arranged trips, booked taxis, gave very useful advice and showed genuine concern about our comfort in every way.The breakfast food was plentiful, varied and delicious. The roof terrace had the most beautiful view of the acropolis and the city.It was such a soothing place to sit and gaze at our unforgettable surroundings. The room was comfy and quiet. Downstairs were relaxing seating areas and computers. This was my second time staying at the Central and I would definitely stay there again because you are treated like family. Thank you Staff.
This hotes is super far from Athens downtown. Although tram station is a 200m walk from the hotel, downtown trip takes 58 minutes and tram doesn't ride that often - sometimes you'll have to wait more than 20 minutes for the next one and it really can be a problem in the evenings. Besides, absolutely no taxi driver knows where this hotel is, cause of course, greek taxi drivers ignore the existence of GPS. So what happens is that they drive veeeery slowly while they crazily try to call one of their friends who knows where place is, which means, neither the best taxi ride nor the cheapest one........... And, btw, a Sea View hmmm, well, I haven't seen sea from the hotel.
One of the main pay beach was across the road. Tram two blocks short nice walk. Took you into Glyfada centre or one could walk. Very conveneint. Not far from airport by taxi.
Excellent location, nice renovated rooms, nice lobby and terrace, friendly staff
a little noisy at night due to being close to main sea front street, poor breakfast
location close to the centre of Glyfada .
Had to pay for wifi..
An excellent beach club was just across the road. the breaakfast was very good and the staff helpful.
Very nice Breakfast. Staff was very nice and helpfull
showers are too small
room, breakfast, relaxing atmosphere
just minor things, however, the size of the room should be a bit bigger for a family
Very clean, quiet, pleasantly staffed hotel. Nice welcome smile from receptionist (blond hair + glasses) and efficient check in. Inclusive breakfast was in beautifully furnished surroundings. Fried eggs and bacon also available. If you want a night in then visit the wonderful supermarket 250 metres away, but don't go hungry!! We enjoyed filled rolls and cold beers on our quiet balcony. Wifi is free and works well. Plenty of parking just outside.
Best thing about this hotel is its location; about 5 minutes walk from all the restaurants and shopping. We used the bus from the airport (X96) and the Asteria bus stop is only 50 metres from the hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Breakfast was satisfactory.
Noisy airconditioning and wifi an extra cost. The bathroom was ok but felt it could benefit from some extra cleaning effort. The plug in the bath would not open to drain the bathwater!
The service was poor, almost rude, the bedrooms were good but not for this money needed and not perfectly clean
The friendliness of the staff, the great breakfast and the location was very central and walking distance from wonderful beaches.
Pool and outside bar area were nice to relax in after a busy day. This hotel is great for an overnighter. We used it for an overnight stop going to the airport coming from Corinth.
No free wifi.
Location was good.
Room was dated and service was only fair. Too expensive relative to other hotels
Location was very good. Close to beach bars, shops, resaurants and the tram.
Breakfast was not that good. The juice was more like cordial. The pick up from the airport did not happen as I was sent an email to reconfirm the pick on the day I was travelling to Athens and could not access my emails, even though I had already confirmed I would accept the charges for the pick up.
