Great value for money, clean, practical and not to far from the beach. Also, the staff were very attentive with us.
Our room was at the demi-basement level and right to the pool so we can't keep the door to the balcony open or the window (because of the pool). Also there was a very bad smell in the kitchen cabinet.
Local buses not letting us out at the stop on the hill, needs a sign for directions.
- saff very very kind and helpful. - 5-10 minutes walk from the beach (in my opinion the most beautiful of the island). - nice swimming pool with 24h access. - good location.
- some issue with the shower's drain, but nothing major.
Only good is the location. Not far from center and near the most popular beaches
The bed was not comfortable at all!! There was noise in the morning and during some nights. You could even listen toilet flush from the other rooms! The facility needs renovation urgently! Its not how it is presented..
For 3 days,we liked that the balcony was large. We liked it more than the room itself. The room was clean just dated. Staff was friendly.
The beds were traditional (as in hard ).Worst sleep until got to our second destination. There was no view from balcony except to another lodging. The hotel was a bit strange..had nice pool n bar area, which was closed during high season.
The staff was very friendly and eager to help us with any questions. The breakfast was big and really good, and the lady serving it was very efficient and nice, even though she didn't speak English. The pool was great! It was possible to exchange books at the reception.
No double bed available, just two single beds pushed together, and the beds were a little uncomfortable and squeeky. There was a laundry room just outside our room, and the washing machines made a horrible noise in the morning and often interrupted our sleep - we had asked for a quiet room. The floor felt dirty, maybe because of the flooring material that made you notice even a small amount of dust or sand. The corridor echoed.
Very friendly efficient staff, spacious apartment, warm pool. No time restrictions on use of pool and treated like adults. Would recommend this hotel to all.
The location meant a slightly hazardous road walk to the sea front, but that's greek and tourist drivers for you
The swimming pool was fantastic and the roof terrace lovely. Very welcoming staff!
good value for money.Happy employees reload of towels on daily basis.
Tiny televisions, tiny balconies(for two persons only).Swimming pool smaller than it is seemed from the pictures.Main door closes after 12 o clock so you have to use another key.Tremendous moisture.
We loved our two nights here. Whilst the hotel may be a walk from the beach, it is not far to go and we found it quite nice to be away from the centre. The supermarket is also close by and the facilities in the kitchenette were fine. The staff were lovely and always willing to help. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Sometimes the wifi didn't work but this was not a huge problem for us and would not stop me staying here again!
Object was clean with good air condition and big apartments. With no doubts I can recommend it to all who are looking for calm place near beautiful beaches and outstanding sea. Beaches are one of the best I ever seen in Greece.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good for 5 euros a person. Rooms were very basic and small. Studios were larger but smelly. The location is ok, you can find nice restaurants. But it is best to rent a car in order to see Chora which is so lively at night and to see Plaka beach. Book this hotel if you are on a budget and you only use the hotel for sleeping. But you can find better.
The reviews here were very misleading. Don't book a studio because it smells of humidity. The sea view from the room is a joke. The balconies are right next to each other, so you have no feeling of privacy on the balcony. The pool was deserted in the back of the hotel, would be nice to have a pool bar or at least open the pool lights at night. Please stop cleaning the rooms with Javel and use a nice detergent. wifi is very poor The sea smells like sewage, go to plaka beach.
Great value, price was really cheap and the location was amazing, just a short 10min walk to Agios Prokopos beach. The apartment was pretty simple, but we didn't spend much time in the room. The facilities were amazing and clean with decent wi fi throughout. The pool was large, and clean, and lots of seating around. Staff was attentive and always available to answer questions.
The rooms were really basic, and the sound proofing was horrible, we could hear everything going on around us.
Hotel Semeli si a great place to stay in Naxos. Perfect location close to the Chora and very close to the beautiful beach of Agios Prokopios. Personnel is very kind , Manolis and Fotini were really nice and helpful for everything we needed. Good breakfast served on the terrace looking at the sea. Pool clean and comfortable. We will return for the next trip to Naxos. Strongly recommended .
Our apartment was simple, and clean. We had a large terrace area attached to the apartment. The pool was lovely, and the breakfast terrace also very nice. An easy, short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops, but far enough that it was fairly quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good value for money.
The location was great! Close to the beach, supermarket, bus stops and restaurants. Helpful staff and a good price.
The wifi kept dropping out and made things difficult. Requested a double bed and got 2 singles pushed together.
The hotel manager at the reception is incredibly nice and helpful! Everybody else seemed very friendly as well, which made the stay there very relaxing:) our room was clean, big enough and had a nice balcony. The swimming pool was great as well in terms of temperature and length. Possibility of breakfast for 5 € (havent tried it, but Im sure it would be great). Nothing to complain about :)
We were lucky and had a room on the first floor, but just so you know, there are rooms that are below ground level, which means people who are walking by can look into your patio.
* helpful and polite staff * close to the beach (couple of minutes walk) * next to bus station * value for money * breakfast option *restaurants and bars very close * aprox 10 mins from town by car or bus
* only a few rooms have a view to the sea (I mention this since for some people is important)
