Ok so the wifi wasn't available in the bedrooms, it wasn't a big deal as we spent most of our time out of our rooms exploring the area and it worked well at the pool and bar.
Our shower head wasn't attached to the wall but we didn't let this bother us we just attached it to the shower curtain and it worked fine.
The staff were excellent, so helpful and were so friendly. They made us feel very welcome. The location of the hotel itself is amazing, literally you walk out the door and turn right and the beach is there! Lovely quiet and clean beach to with toilet and shower facilities. For night life, I would recommend going into Chania town itself, which also couldn't be easier as the bus to town is literally across the road from the hotel and for €1.50 you get right into Chania town centre. It's the last stop and you get off the bus and cross the road and follow the crowds from there into the old harbour, you can't miss it. The same stop you get off at is the same stop to get back to the hotel also.
The hotel itself has a great atmosphere at the sports bar whenever there was a big match on, and having been visiting whilst the world cup was on, this was a regular occurrence. (btw strawberry daiquiri cocktail is amazing at the bar).
In regards to our room, we had the economy double room, it was literally beside the shop in the hotel (can be slightly noisy in the morning with the road beside it and the shop opening and getting ready for the day, however I'm an early riser so it didn't bother me). Our room had everything we needed, facilities for cooking, air conditioning, and an area to sit out in the evening with a table and chairs and a drying rack for your wet swimming togs!
Overall a great stay and would definitely go back in a heartbeat. Also a big thank you to the staff for making our holiday so relaxing! :)
