This is not a hotel. There is no swimming pool, no buffet breakfast, no room service. This is a house with a living room, a king bedroom and a large bathroom with a tiny jacuzzi.
For breakfast they give you a list of things to order and they simply buy in the mini market close by. The next day they deliver in a basket in your room.
We were not expetcing that at all.
We were coming from a very good 4 days in Mykonos where we stayed at Petasos hotel, with great services, excellent buffet breakfast, swimming pool, view and proper staffed reception.
We payed the same price as the 4 days in the Senses hotel...
So we found out that the "hotel" we booked in Santorini was a house with 2 floors
The ground floor was our bedrrom.
One bedroom probably renovated and is being advertised as a boutique hotel.
There is no real reception.
Yannis welcomes you in this tiny office around the corner where he explains to the guests this very awkward system on how his so called "boutique hotel" works in "collaboration" with another hotel that is about 10 minutes walking.
In the "real hotel" you find a proper small swimming pool and sun beds (if any available) since they have the exact number for their "real" guests. So if you are looking like us for a proper hotel with facilities and amenities, despite Yannis being a nice guy, I would not recommend at all this misleading labelled "boutique" hotel.
Yannis is a very nice and helpful person and since we arrived he gave all necessary information about Santorini, and helped us booking our boat trip and car rental.
The bathroom is large and renovated.
The little jacuzzi is fun but overlooking the street. No privacy at all.
It is very clean.
