Sigma Studios on The Beach  

Dimitris was so wonderful. He was very helpful, knowledgable and enthusiastic about the property and island. The sea view was incredible. Great location. Very clean and adorable rooms that were cleaned everyday. We loved this place and would definitely stay there again!

Dimitris, the owner, is a very nice guy who truly wants to give his guests the best experience possible. Rooms are quite basic, but adequate, clean, and some have really nice views on the beach which is just a few metres away. Price/quality ratio is exceptional, and so are Dimitris's tips for nice restaurants!:)

I can't say enough positive things about the service we received while staying at Sigma Studios. Our expereince exceeded anything I expected.

Dimitris the owner was most helpful and gave us a wonderful 'seminar' of all the delights of Naxos. The unit is 10 steps from the beach ,but had its own courtyard to relax in. A lovely place ,we were there at the end of the season and it was wonderful.

If you like to cook your own meals the kitchen was not well equipped but managable. There are of course lots of places to go out and eat. We were there in the off season , so there will be many more restuarants open in the high season.

It's conveniently located next to St George Beach. It's a 5 mins walk to town which has everything you need.

There were sand in the bedding (which could be brushed off easily). But I blame it on people taking their towels to the beach when they are not supposed to.

Sigma Studios is very close (20m) from the beach closest to Naxos Town. It takes about 10min to walk into town. Every day the rooms were cleaned and the whole place felt fresh. There are also cooking facilities, so you can self cater if you wish.

When I stayed (Sept 2011) there was no Wi-Fi - but the owner mentioned they are installing this by next summer.

The location was great, plus Dimitri and Marina made sure we had everything we needed. They were always available, just by picking up the phone.

We stayed at this hotel for the price and location. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient and on the grounds were a couple of small bistro tables with multiple books to read at our leisure during our stay... nice touch. The day we arrived Dimitris took the time to pull out a map of the island and point out all of the points of interest to us.

There was no lobby, and when we first arrived at night after a long travel we had to wait for Dimitris (the owner) to arrive and let us into our room. The day we were checking out and needed to catch the ferry he implied that he would probably be able to drive us to the ferry and would arrive at our room at a curtain time to collect the key, charge our credit card, and take us to the ferry. He arrived late and then apologized for not having transportation to the ferry for us. It was not a big deal to walk to the port because its only 15 min but we would have left early for the walk had we known. It just made our departure a little more hectic than it needed to be.

Location couldn't be better for the beach and town. Although the accomodation we had was pretty basic, the price @ 30 euros per night proved to be good value. The owner Dimitri was very friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned everyday. We would stay there again but would prefer to pay a little extra for a sea view.

As we sometimes like to read on the balcony, we found it very small, although, the majority of properties in that area look to have small balconies and ours was at least more private. But like I say earlier, we only paid 30 euros per night so it was still value for money. It would be better to pay a little extra for a sea view in my opinion.

Lovely clean rooms and very helpful owner. Within easy reach of town and beach. We had a wonderful time and our only problem was please can you replace washers on the taps as they were difficult to turn on sometimes. Highly recommend Sigma Studios on the Beach for a relaxing and lovely holiday. Having been to Naxos before on numerous occasions this is the best place we have stayed. Thankyou.

Slightly noisy scooters at night but not everyone goes to bed as early as us.
