Simantro Beach  

1. Lovely sandy beach. 2. Crystal clear sea. 3. Sea very safe for children; one has to walk for some distance until it gets deep. 4. Very friendly and efficient people. 5. Quite, out of the way location. 6. Lovely garden.

1. Not for those who want some nightlife outside the hotel. Taxi/rental required. 2. Food acceptable but not the best Greece has to offer. 3. Although room was very clean, the chairs in the balcony were forgotten; one was dirty.

Beautiful setting and gardens, nice beach, setting of the beach bar, Rooms were nice and veiw from ours was lovely. Decor of hotel is very pretty.

It was 'little Germany' and therefore not like staying in Greece. The staff were german, all visitors were german, all announcements and posters etc were german, and food was geared towards German (snitzels, chips etc) with very little Greek food. We like Germans but went to Greece for a Greek trip not a German one. We didnt want to go all inclusive as generally all inclusive has watered down drinks and poor food quality, but we ended up changing to All Inc as there was no other choices of food or drink for non all inc guests. Food was poor and drinks were watered down and there was no greek restaruant (taverna was closed and a la carte was a small and german based menu). We ate out in other resorts so that we could have Greek. Location is only good if you have a car or do not want to leave the resort, it is miles from anywhere else. Bars and restaurants did not stay open til the times they said, eg beach bar closed at 6pm instead of 1am.

Καθαροί χώροι ξενοδοχείου, μεγάλοι χώροι για να παίζουν τα παιδιά.

Δεν υπάρχει ασανσερ. Οχι δωρεάν Wifi και καλυψη μονο στην reception! Φαγητό μονο για Γερμανούς. Αγενές προσωπικό. Περιορισμένος αριθμός στις ξαπλώστρες οι οποίες ειναι πιασμένες απο τα χαράματα.

αν και το προτιμουν περισσοτερο οι οικογενειεσ με μικρα παιδια δεν εχει αρκετα ευκολεσ προσβασεισ για καροτσια και δεν υπαρχουν ασανσερ στα δωματια που ειναι κοντα στην παραλια.

Besonders gut hat uns das familiäre Ambiente gefallen.Wir haben uns trotz der Größe der Anlage sofort wohl gefühlt.Die Animation ist sehr professionell und unaufdringlich.Insgesamt hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub-abgesehen von ein paar Mängeln (siehe unten).

Die Anlage sieht von außen wirklich schön aus.Die Zimmer sind allerdings schon etwas abgewohnt und gerade die Bäder könnten eine Renovierung vertragen.Auch die Liegen am Strand sind zum Teil schon recht schmuddelig.Die Essenszubereitung und -auswahl ist insgesamt verbesserungsdürftig...Leider gab es auch eine ziemliche Bienen- und Wespenplage.Vielleicht könnte das Hotel hier auch vorbeugend ein paar Maßnahmen ergreifen?

- Fresh fruits at every meal - service to provide clean towels for the beach - entertainment for children in the evening - swimming instructor for children (the German instructor my daughter had is very good, a real asset!) - possibility to organise getting baby food with some 4-5 food options

- Food was rather mediocre (for instance at breakfast (perhaps to keep costs low): very "cheap" ham (meat content negligible), yoghurt, jam in bulk etc.) - bath tub crippled, sewerage not working well, some ants (live!) in the bathroom etc. Room standards for sure not meeting a 4-star hotel requirements. However, all in all,

Family hotel, nice beach,very good food, clean and comfort rooms

There is no wireless and internet access is difficult to reach even on the receptions. Some rooms are renovated, but some are not.
