Sitia Bay

It is in a great location near restaurants and local shops but at the same time it is very quit and relaxed place. Owners really know how to run the hotel and pay attention to details what is really nice. Thanks for delicious snacks every day and candle lights in the evenings what created really nice atmosphere. Roof terrace is also great bonus. Rooms are very clean and very good maintained. I would recommend staying in Sitia Bay!

As it was late october we were not lucky with the weather - it was windy and rainy most of the time but it is something you should count on if coming end of the season. Pillows were a bit too big and hard, otherwise everything was great.

Friendly and courteous service.Attention to detail was superb - candles lit each night on stairs, cake in room and help and advice always on offer. A quiet yet central position was another plus. And lovely sitting area on roof to watch the sunset. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Sitia Bay was a great place to stay. The owners were friendly and helpful, the room was just what we wanted' and the cleanliness was spotless throughout. I have no problem in wholeheartedly recommending The Sitia Bay -------- I would love to go there again !

Bed was a bit hard

an excellent quiet and very friendly hotel. Everything was done done to make us welcome. Will definitely return.

The hotel is small (19 rooms) so it is never crowded nor desolate. You are very well taken care of and everything is very well maintained and consistently up to a high standard. Usually I am not so fond of swimmingpools, but the one at Sitia Bay has wonderful, clean water as it it is fed by its own well. There are no meal services, so you can have your meals in the town or prepare them yourself. I think most guests do both things. Not to be able to do your own cooking, you will probably miss because of all the excellent vegetables etc to be bought. The quality here is of top world standard. A pure joy to handle. This means that there are no addings to your bill. Even the water from the dispenser at the pool is provided free of charge.

My one dissonant comment is the sattelite tv. It is top quality and the signals that come through are hd. But there are so very few of them. A batch of channels should be available for the guests otherwise the investment is rather pointless.

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days in June. The room was spotlessly clean and well equipped with bathroom and kitchenette. We had a balcony overlooking the sea complete with table and chairs. The pool area is very well designed and provides a peaceful refuge from the beach which becomes busy at times (late afternoon and weekends). This is a family run establishment and all the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming, and an excellent source of advice on the local area. On a daily basis complimentary items such as fresh bread, cakes and biscuits were left in our room - a nice touch. The Sitia Bay complex is about 10 yards from the beach and is probably one of the best places to stay in the whole town, it certainly represents excellent value for money. Sitia itself is fairly limited in its range of attractions but this is a great place to base oneself to explore the surrounding area with it's beautiful beaches, dramatic scenery and historic sites.

Our only criticism is that we found that the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. Those who prefer a very firm mattress would like them.

La gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden geen ontbijt besteld maar desondanks werd er iedere dag een lekker toetje achtergelaten op de kamer. De kamer was brandschoon en om naar het strand te gaan hoef je alleen een weg over te steken.

Wij vonden Sitia zelf niet helemaal dat wat we ervan verwachtten. We hoopten op een leuk vissersdorpje maar dat was het niet. Er zijn veel restaurants maar geen enkel restaurant heeft werkelijk charme. Op zich is het oord wel ok om de oostkant van Kreta te verkennen.

Chambre très confortable avec balcon sur vue plage et cuisine intégrée pour le petit déjeuner. Belle piscine avec calme et ombre garanties. Accueil très chaleureux.

Veramente un bell'albergo situato sul lungomare di Sitia, a pochi passi dal centro della città. Personale gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione per ogni necessità! Camera molto grande e pulitissima!

Struttura molto confortevole situata sulla spiaggia di Sitia. Ha tutti I confort di un ottimo albergo in una atmosfera rilassata e tranquilla. Molto simpatico, cordiale e premuroso lo "staff" dei gestori! Noi ci siamo tornati quest'anno per la seconda volta e sicuramente ci ritorneremo!

Direkt am Strand und kurzer Fußweg ins Zentrum. Frühstück am Zimmer.

Wij kunnen enkel maar zeer positief berichten over dit hotel! Zeker een pluim voor de hoteluitbaters die niet alleen een fantastische locatie ter beschikking stellen met alle wensbare faciliteiten ( prachtige kamers, uitstekend zwembad, prima onderhoud van de kamers, enz....). Bovendien staan zij ten allen tijde open voor het ter beschikking stellen van nuttige informatie ( bezienswaardigheden in de buurt, leuke restaurants, enz....). Uitstekend!!!

J'ai beaucoup aimé cet hôtel en bord de mer. Le personnel était extrêmement gentil et attentionné, l'hôtel est charmant dans sa décoration, calme, très propre, une très belle piscine. Je recommande cet hotel à 300%. Merci à l'équipe. Isabelle

The location, right on the seafront, is excellent. The premises are spotlessly clean and tastefully designed. Lovely pool and sunbed/seating areas around it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, with daily gifts of fresh baked bread, cakes, home made jam, marmalade, honey. All delicious! We were lent a parsol and chairs for a remote beach trip and given ideas for places to visit/eat. The room was thoroughly cleaned daily. All in all, a calm, relaxing place for a holiday. Highly recommended.

Facilities, location, quality of room, pool

Très bon emplacement dans SITIA. Environnement calme. A quelques dizaines de mètres de la plage. Chambre vue mer magnifique. Exellent accueil et conseils d'itinéraires et de visites des propriétaires.

Les équipements en chambre et kitchenettes sont complets et de qualité. Grande attention portée à chaque client pour le bien-être et le confort. Chaque jour, des surprises sucrées faites maison sont livrées dans les chambres, de même les rafraîchissements vous attendent dès votre arrivée et durant tout le séjour. Ménage parfait. Bienveillance et gentillesse de toute l'équipe. Situé face à la plage de Sitia, la piscine est calme et agréable. Tout proche des commerces à pied. Très bonne adresse.

Everything was just perfect! The room was clean and confortable with a nice sea view. We loved the handmade cookies and the italian coffe we found in our room. High recommended!

Super accueil avec beaucoup de conseils sur les restaurants aux alentours ainsi que sur les sites à visiter. Le personnel a toujours su nous venir en aide rapidement en cas de problème. Les appartements ont une magnifique vue sur la baie de sitia et sont situés à quelques minutes du centre-ville. Niveau équipement, tout est là,même le grille-pain ! Bref une très bonne adresse.

La literie un peu trop dure à notre goût, mais sinon c'est un sans-faute !
