Having to leave!

Christos and Soula are the best hosts in the world. They have the right equation, warmth, smile, committment, helpfullness and most of all they are human beings who anyone rarely meets now a days. Christos' mother was as well amazing at that age cooking wonderful dish and ensuring that we feel at home all the time. Then comes the beauty of the island which is helped. Y the Diamond facility. Amazing pool for elders and children, with supermarket right across the road and view of the sea in about 100 steps. There is nothing too far in Skiathos. The bus stop os just about 300 meters from the facilty that takes either ends of the island.

You can try hard to dislike, but will never succeed :)

Staff were helpful, friendly and did everything to make our stay comfortable. we enjoyed the local quiet location but it was still easy to get into town when we needed, using local transport. We will be going again.

We found no negatives, apart from the fact that the two weeks went by too quickly.

Everything!!! :) We had the most relaxing two weeks holiday. The location was perfect, a little out of the way, meaning it is always peaceful but close enough to the main road through Skiathos to be able to access the local buses!! The apartments themselves are typically Greek, quite basic but spotlessly clean with everything you need. The pool and surrounding area is again really clean, with enough sunbeds & huge parasols offering welcome shade, plus you never have to get up at sunrise to secure a spot by the pool, in fact some days we had the pool to ourselves :) The onsite taverna provides a simple but plentiful breakfast that is included in the price, which is regularly replenished. The taverna has an evening menu that is perhaps not as extensive as others but everything is freshly prepared, really tasty & good value!! Last, but definately not least, the owners, Christos & Soula, who could not have done any more to make our holiday perfect!!! They are friendly, helpful, relaxed, welcoming, kind, thoughtful, well I could just go on & on, they are lovely :) One evening we called in at the taverna for a coffee & a nightcap just as they were closing up, not only did they provide our drinks & a romantic table over looking the pool but they even found an English cd of romantic songs!!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Skiathos Diamond & hope to return ourselves in the future :d

Lovely big room with balcony overlooking the hillside. Extremely clean. Small kitchen with fridge and hob, plenty of utensils. TV and air con. Pool was very clean again with beautiful views over the hillside. Owners were friendly and helpful. Overall good affordable family friendly accommodation.

Breakfast was too limited.

A part from the fact breakfast is a little modest, I love this place...Its the second time I stay in it, and I absolutely love Christos and Soula, they do everything to make you feel comfortable. Location is in the middle between the port and the famous koukounaries beach, which is great. The room as super spacious!!!! And the pool surrounded by the beautiful green landscape is a treat....i would always go there

We are a family of four and we stayed only one night at Skiathos Diamond as we were transit to Skopelos. This is a great value for money hotel, very clean and run by a very helpful and friendly couple, Christos & Soula. We highly recommend this place.

Large, well equipped rooms. Fabulous views. Supermarket across the road. Very well positioned for all facilities but felt rural. Christos and Soula are fantastic hosts. Excellent modern pool.

The lack of a pool bar meant there was little opportunity for socialising with other guests

The owners Christos and Soula are so friendly and kind. It felt very safe. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. The pool is lovely. The location is very convenient and peaceful. Everything about is was great. No complaints and very good value for money.

Restaurant of Skiathos Diamond is not up to standard....however there is other great facilities available close by.

We stayed for a week in June 2012. The main purpose was for my daughter's wedding at a nearby hotel. The facility was faultless but the icing on the cake were the owners Soula and Christos. 2 members of the group needed trips to the medical centre. On 3 occasions Christos insisted on providing transport and himself as interpreter. Any attempts to recompense him for time and fuel were refused. I cannot speak highly enough of this couple. I have never encountered such quality service anywhere.

El hotel en general está bien, las habitaciones son nuevas, grandes y espaciosas, con una pequeña cocina y nevera. La piscina es muy agradable, aunque tiene el problema de a partir de las 7 de la tarde ya no se puede estar. El desayuno, sencillo pero adecuado. La playa está a unos 10-15 minutos caminando, es una playa pequeña y bonita. Los dueños son una pareja con niños pequeños, muy amables y predispuestos. Se aprovecha mejor con coche.

La ubicación. Está a unos 5 minutos caminando entrando desde la carretera principal, y a unos 10 minutos en bus desde el centro de Skiathos. En general no es problema porque el bus pasa cada 15-20 minutos, pero nos sucedió que iba tan lleno que no nos dejó subir en dos ocasiones seguidas, y como ya llevábamos una media hora, tuvimos que coger un taxi. Lo mismo nos sucedió desde la última playa, Koukounaries, que no nos dejó subir porque la gente se abalanzó sin respetar la cola y el conductor dejó paso a unas niñas que ni siquiera habían hecho cola. En fin, que el sistema de bus es frecuente pero malfuncionante.

La stanza grande e sufficinetemente pulita all'arrivo.

Colazione scarsa (sufficinte come colazione inglese). Pulizia della camera non giornaliera. Ovile adiacente al residence.

Het is een prima en schoon hotel op een prima locatie! Het zwembad is prachtig en er zijn genoeg ligbedden. De kamers zijn schoon, maar wij moesten dag 1 wel even navragen of er schoongemaakt wordt en of wij dan ook nieuwe handdoeken mogen. Daarna gebeurde het iedere dag.

Het ontbijt is echt te mager, er is alleen maar witbrood met of kaas, worst of jam. Geen yoghurt (Griekenland??) en er is alleen maar filterkoffie! Gasten nemen hierdoor zelf spullen mee naar het ontbijt, zoals vers fruit, yoghurt, andere broodsoorten etc. Er is geen bar voor een drankje in de middag of 's avonds!

Ja bij zwembad te weinig parasols Onbijt was werkelijk niks alleen verpaktje jam en corn-flakes als ze minder kamer poetsen en dan beter ontbijt zullen mensen ook sávonds blijven eten of terug komen Dit krijgt een cijfer 4 van mij

Tutto perfetto! Posizione tranquilla e comoda per spiagge, a 6 km dalla città. "Camere" indipendenti, nuove, rifinite molto bene, pulitissime, fresche nonostante 41 gradi di temperatura esterna, enormi (in realtà più grandi di appartamenti!) e comodissime! Servite molto bene con tutti gli accessori, complete di aria condizionata, zanzariere, comoda cucina con frigorifero e balcone! Ottima colazione! Personale / staff veramente MAGNIFICO...gentile, ospitale e ti fanno sentire a casa...consigliatissimo!

Αν και η διαμονή μας ήταν μόνο για 3 βραδιές, όλα ήταν άψογα. Οι ιδιοκτήτες πολυ φιλικοί και εξυπηρετικοι, ο καθαρισμός του δωματίου γινόταν καθημερινά. Η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχειου οπως και η θέα απο το δωμάτιο ήταν φανταστικη. Συγχαρητήρια στο Χρήστο και τη Σουλα.

Die Wegbeschreibung im Internet ist ungenügend. Kam vom Flughafen mit Mietauto und habe ziemlich gesucht: Es gäbe eine einfache Lösung: Die Busstationen sind nummeriert und können als Wegweiserhilfe dienen.

Very clean and close to market and beach. The owners are very polite and helpful. My kids are exchiting with the pool and with the place.

Trevlig personal med utmärkt service. Supermarket bara 30 meter bort.

Frukosten var ej speciellt bra.
