Very kind staff. They picked us up at the Mykonos airport and after left us at the Mykonos port.
Poor internet signal inside the rooms.
Everything, the place was immaculately spotless. The owners and staff so welcoming and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights either side of going to visit Andros. The room was an excellent size, great shower and extremely comfy bed. We used their transfer service from airport and port, which was also excellent. Close to all amenities. First time in Mykonos and they told and showed us how to get around, perfect will defiantly go back.
This is not a negative for me but there is a small steep hill to walk up and down to reach Little Venice, we liked the walk, but would not suit anyone that did not have good mobility.
The room was large and clean with two balconies and two beds. Wifi was available in the room.
Breakfast was not available as advertised. Dogs (the owner's) frequently barked early in the morning. No microwave, toaster or any method of heating food.
Staff was friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Pool area was very enjoyable with a good bar and music. Rooms are nice and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Found the view's very enjoyable. A short walk into town means you have best of both worlds of a peaceful stay with easy access to the town.
Location, transfers to port and airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The pool and bar area and views were wonderful. A steep hill to walk down / up to little Venice but a lovely 5/10 min walk.
sofia herself is very friendly and the place is pretty close to town. Have to climb a steep hill but no prob if you not severely infirm or very old! Good pool but bar is often closed early (we were there at the end of the season though). Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels everyday.
Other staff apart from sofia were fairly feckless - guy at the bar didnt know how to make any drinks apart from spirit and mixer, even though they have a fully stocked bar, didnt know where the bus stop was etc. Also, shower not always warm. Finally its pretty expensive for what you get - but I think its quite good value on Mykonos I guess...
Port and airport transfer, very helpful and accommodating family staff, close to the city centre, clean room, great everything. Value for money!
Very nice and friendly staff. Close to the chora (about 10-15min walk). Comfortable pool and bar area.
This is a fantastic place. Beautiful pool, pool bar with nice reasonably priced cocktails. Only 5 mins to the town (15 mins back uphill though). Free shuttle bus from and to the port. The room was brand new and super big, comfortable beds and new shower/toilet. Room was cleaned every day. We had a great time at Sofia Village. Would definitely stay there again!
We arrived at the airport at night, and we took a taxi which costs 10euro. ( bus to the center only 2euro). In fact the hotel is very close to the airport. You could just walk to the hotel for 10-15 mins. The pool area looks nice.
It's a bit far from the center. steep hill. Poor wifi. Try to get shower earlier, otherwise water will not be hot enough.
The warm welcome, accessibility to the centre while being away from the noise, clean comfortable accomadation, great value for money.
Staff very friendly free pick up from port and transfer to airport.and help with any doubts or advice of the island. Excellent location close to Mykonos town , I highly recommend to rent a car or scooter if you are in the island if you rent a squad be careful is not strong enough for 2 people if you go to some beaches one of you have to come back walking cause hill inclination are quite heavy. if you don't rent any transport in the island be careful with the hill of the hotel is quite heavy , for me was ok but if you are older age could be a problem or if you are not used to do exercise same . Beautiful views from the pool , good prices for beers, cocktails and ccoffee and good music too ! To be honest was a good hotel for good price and the staff was friendly good location. If you are in Mykonos I suppose that you don't want a hotel all inclusive , I would recommend to go to supermarket and to make you own breakfast that was what we did and was no complain for it. Probably that's the only one thing that I will improve but for us was ok . We really enjoy our time in Sofía Village and Mykonos.
I luvd the layout of d place.. Nice n decent.. Swimming pool and area were nicely maintained..
No toiletries was a minus.. Also loos were a bit stinky
Me and my friend Monica spent a lovely week at Sofia village. The hotel is well situated...in few minutes you can reach the centre of Mykonos town. The room was quite nice and well cleaned. The staff is very friendly. They also provide a shuttle service from and to the airport. The swimming pool and the bar are excellent and especially George, the barman is a wonderful and cheerful person!! He gives us lots of good advice about the best places to go and he prepare the most amazing spritz aperol...and trust me ...I'm italian! I highly recommend Sofia Village if you are going in Mykonos for holidays!!!
Loved the relaxed vibe. So good to be able to sit next to the pool and enjoy some tasty beverages from the bar. We were made to feel very welcome here.
The location is good, the setting and views are nice, the pool is great, quiet at night, easily accessible by car/motorbike I read a lot of negative comments about the owner Sofia, which puzzled me a bit. Different people communicate to each other differently. My experience was only good. Sofia was not only understanding and supportive, but even woke up early just to give me a lit to the ferry. Great stay!
The internet is barely reachable in the room, and it is slow.
It was a really great experience. The staff was really nice and polite. The pool was great and the sunsets was really beautiful. Just 10 min walking to the downtown of the city. 100% recommend
The wi fi connection wasn't so good
The owner of the hotel is very very nice and helpfull. The location is great with a nice view and very close to town and to the port. Really liked the swimming pool too.
The wifi didnt work on the room which is bad!!! The only bad thing about this lovely hotel.
10min by foot from the center Quiet outside The view The swimming pool
Walls too thin, we can't sleep because of nocturnal activities of our neighbors..
The beach and shops were a short and easy walk away. The grounds were large, lush with plenty of space for the kids to run around. They played in the playground, tennis court and large pool. Our room was split level, kids on ground and us on first, each with a TV and cooling system. Wifi worked in the rooms. Sofia and George were very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed staying here.
We couldn't get the TV remote to work but also didn't ask for assistance as we didn't watch it much.
the location was great so close to town, georges the barman was very helpful ,sofia was charming and smiling all time would go again next time
should change into new ones knives and forks ....and tea kettle but this is minor things
The pool was the saving grace of this place - nice to hang around, with bar service and lots of interesting people...
The owner, Sofia, is one grumpy lady, who did not make us feel welcome at all! We had been promised a pick-up at the ferry, but when we arrived - no one was there to meet us! Signs at the reception state that breakfast must be ordered before 10am...we ordered at 9:45am and she scolded us for doing so! And the breakfast was terrible (don't bother ordering it.) Although indicated checkout time was 12 noon Sofia herself came by our room at 11:30am to try to get us to leave. Please, spare yourself from being treated so poorly - book somewhere else!!
1. We were picked up late from the port with no apologies. 2. When asking how the cooker worked in our studio we were told that it would not work unless we paid an extra charge for it.... We were apperantly upgraded to a studio which is fine but not if we then are asked to pay more for what was in it... The price (as I must admit all hotel prices in Mykonos) was way way to expensive.
the room where great and cleaned every day
wifi was pretty much non-existent,
Pool was excellent. Staff was friendly and a great resource for recommendations. The walk to city center was only 5 mins down and maybe 10 home.
Excellent place. Only change could be a sheet on the bed instead of just a blanket.
