Location to the airport was ideal. The rooms were very nice, as was the pool. Carpeting in the hallways needs to be updated; walls should be re-painted. Internet access should be more than 15 minutes. discounts should be given for the transit/metro to downtown. |

. Needing a hotel close to Athens Airport the Sofitel was perfect for our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, which we have to say has not been our experience at all of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in. We will certainly use the Sofitel again when travelling early in the morning from Athens Airport. The sound proofing is excellent - we heard no aircraft noise at all Some of the lifts were out of service but hey they have to be serviced sometimes, other than that no complaints at all. |

The stay was dictated by convenience since I had an early 6 am flight to Frankfurt. The hotel was very quiet. The reception clerk automatically offered early 4 am wake-up call. |

it was very close to the airport lounge, so I could walk from my room to the departure counter. The price is ridiculous, extremely expensive. |

Proximity to airport/across the street. The restaurant provided fine service but it was very pricey.We read reviews about going back to eat at the airport but we needed a break and did not want fast food. .without a boarding card the choices for food are limited. It was our most expensive meal in our 2 weeks of travel ..we felt like a captive audience ..with no better option. The hotel rooms and common corridors need to be updated. The bed/bedding were crisp and clean. |

We were very pleased with the room. Stylish, clean, comfortable. The bell staff were not helpful when we asked for assistance with left luggage. |

extremely well located for early morning flight. Literally steps from the terminal so no need to arrange early morning transportation. Very quiet. Couldn't hear airport even though situated right at terminal! |

Walking distance from the Athens airport. We weren't able to find any other hotel around, so we have to pay so much for just 5 hours. The girl on reception helped me to change the reservation date, although it took half an hour to be changed, it was some kind of procedure. Five starts and we still need to carry the heavy baggage, there were some strong young man there, i suppose they would carry, but they didn't mean to carry anything to help us. |

Perfect location to Airport,walked 1min to hotel.Also metro to downtown Athens right There. 24 hour resturant. High price for 1 night |

Location at the airport and metro station was the main reason for staying here. We had to catch a very early morning flight and didn't want the hassle of dealing with Athens' questionable taxi drivers. It has all the conveniences you would expect from a five star hotel with all staff being friendly and helpful. Despite the high cost of the hotel room, everything beyond the basic room was available for a hefty extra cost which is roughly triple to quadruple what you would expect to pay at other hotels. |

quiet room, loved the bathing room. great place when flight out of Athens is in the morning, as ours was 8:15 am. very expensive, news papers are not available to be read in room but in bar only. |

The rate we paid was worth every cent for sheer convenience & location for an early morning flight. Breakfast is served from 4 A.M. Total luxury , top quality service & facilities for our last night in Greece. Everything was great. |
