Hotel Spanelis  

First and foremost, Helene, the proprietor of the Hotel and hostess of us all. She was helpfull at all times when it comes to whereabouts of the island, and the general comfort of our stay at the hotel. She came for us at the airport early morning and was more than happy to go to pick our friend from the sea port that same afternoon. We had no problems with checking in our rooms early in the morning as the actual check in times would be in the afternoon. The sea view from the room is stunning even though we stayed at the lowest level of the hotel, we were not charged for laundry, and internet was included. The rooms, even though relatively small for 2 persons, were clean at all times, ac was fully functional, and looked very and welcoming. It was an overall positive experience and I highly recommend it.

They are not really complaints, however the size of the room is relatively small for two persons carrying 2 luggages, and the actual shower space is also very confined. The mattress could have been softer and more comfortable, and the pillow was too low. However these are minor things which did not really affect our experience on the island. Whenever we needed halp with booking anything, Helene and her husband were more than happy to help.

Great location and wonderful hosts. The owners were most hospitable and made a great effort to make our stay a special one!

The only minor thing was that the beds were very hard.

The staff were great, very helpful and accomodating!

The best part was the warm welcome and family like friendliness of Helene Spanelis (elegant yet unobtrusive), the owner and manager. She was always available, if I needed a towel for the beach, where the locals ate, or tidbits about Mykonos history and politics, the Greeks and the Turks, etc. She speaks 5 languages. I liked the location, near town but away from the noise of the discos. Very clean, inexpensive, she met me at the boat. Service & graciousness far beyond my expectation & experience at a budget hotel.

Et c'est tout simplement du vol. J'ai dû changer d'hôtel si je voulais passer des vacances digne de ce nom. Je ne recommande à personne cet htôtel qui ressemble plus à une pension de famille pour délincants. Pas de vue, installation des années 70. j'en croyais pas mes yeux !!!Franchement juste à côté vous avez le tagoo hotel qui pour quasi le m^m prix apporte 10 mieux avec piscine en plus sur vie à vous couper le souffle.

Zeer vriendelijk en een uitstekende service.Ook op informatief gebied is niets te veel, je kan ten alle tijden met je vragen aan de receptie terecht.

The owners are incredibly kind. They picked us up and dropped us off at the port free of charge.

The hotel was a good mile/ mile and a half from the main town square. I don't mind walking but it was a pretty steep climb and the roads, all of them, are not safe for walking in my opinion due to the carelessness of many drivers.
