A short walk from the Acropolis, 5-star Royal Olympic Hotel is centrally located by the Temple of Olympion Zeus. The luxurious rooms overlook Zeus’s Temple, or the swimming pool garden.

Hotel Amazon is in a great location in the heart of Athens, within walking distance of the major archaeological sites and Syntagma Metro Station.

We had a wonderful holiday in Athens. Hotel was wonderful with its very friendly & helpful staff, great location, cleanliness, perfect wi-fi connection, lovely view of city & Acropol. Thanks a lot to the management and all staff.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location. Kolonaki is a five minute walk. The restaurant on the 6th floor has an amazing view of the Acropolis with breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset. Very good quality food also. I will definitely stay here again.
Although the bed was very comfortable it was too big (king size) for the room and I felt the room was a little stuffy. However I was only in the room at night so it didn't bother me too much.
Parking takes time to find , small room , small bathroom , to much heat , not good soundproof, I wonder how this and many other hotels rated as 5 stars ..
- Location - Nice view from the top floor restaurant
- Rooms are small and need to be refurbished - Construction works next to the hotel, that started at around 7.15am; - Too much noise when opening the window, and air conditioning was noisy and not effective; - Gym is small and poorly equiped.
The top restaurant with its incredible view on the city and the Acropolis
One of the elevators was broken and the waiting was long...
Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Rooms not very clean. There is a bad smell in the room.
Location is amazing, the view from the rooms and the restaurant breathtaking. Service is very nice and friendly.
I visited the hotel in 2006 rooms hasn't changed since, they do need some refreshing and /or some rennovation.
Good location in a quiet part of the city. King size bed but old spring matress. Big room. Cash ATM in the lobby.
Hard to get to the hotel if you have mobility problems and don't want to use a taxi, no bus or metro station close by and it's a steep climb with stairs. The restaurant has a great view but the food is expensive and not great. The room we had really needed refurbishing as does the whole of the hotel, the shower was only working on one setting no possibility of having a bath or massage as advertised, the view was on a wall (atrium) and quite noisy (we could hear the other couple in the next room as if they were in ours) and the cleanliness was mediocre (hairs on the toilet seat and washbasin, tea cups sticky with sugar...). All in all not a five star at all, more like three.
Nice hotel area, nice view from the restaurant on the 6th floor, great staff, very friendly.
Breakfast was a bit too expensive, so we chose not too get it in the offer. Some rooms have a very poor view.
A fairly comfortable and decent lodging experience. Best part was the Spa and quality of therapy.
Room size quite small, and bathroom especially felt cramped
We checked in at 1am following a late arrival flight, two staff welcomed us into the hotel. I was running in the Athens marathon very early in the morning on the day we were scheduled to leave so my wife checked us out of our room at mid day. When we returned later that day to collect our bags they made a spare room available for me to shower & change free of charge. The restaurant staff are very efficient and friendly. The view from the skybar is fantastic and highly recomended. Max 10 minute walk to Syntagma sq for buses/trains. Also some great bars and restaurants within a few minutes. We will definately stay again.
Hotel is excellent & Nothing wrong at all...be prepared for a few steps to climb if you venture out by foot.
Excellent Staff, very attentive, helpful, friendly good location
Small rooms (doesn't look like a boutique) The photos on the booking.com are misleading - nothing similar. Old furniture, old bathroom. For 2 persons the bath facilities only for one person. Can't compare with any 5 star hotel. 3 star only. not tasty breakfast, especially coffee.
Very clean room, fabulous view, great staff. Location superb, close to great shopping and bars. Couldn't fault location or hotel
Don't eat or drink there, costs are ridiculous. Walk to one of the many restaurants for much better value. Price of Vive Cliquot 170 Euros, having a laugh!! Pity as this reduces how good the hotel actually is.
hospitality of staff
very poor insulation. The vroom 512 is under the roof garden with parties up to 2 o'clock in the morning. There is no luxury for five star hotel. They are selling only the view. Very poor value of money. The hotel needs renovation ... yesterday.
Hotel had reservation. Hotel exchanged a $500 Euro bill for me which my US bank had ordered as part of my trip prep. Hotel staff was very professional and friendly. Hotel allowed us to place baggage in storage until room was ready - one hour.
Wasn't really a five star facility. Restaurant prices were a bit high.
The entire city!!!
Mighty high climb home but easily reachable by taxi after a long day of walking!!
Nice rooftop bar and restaurant with excellent view to Acropolis. Noisy pool area due to AC aggregate. Small pool and very little space for sun chairs. Hotel well located in nice and quiet area on a hill.
Hotel in need of renovation. Rooms are very small and not nicely decorated. WIFI is not working properly anywhere in the hotel - slow and weak signal, plus you need to login again and again.
the location, the view, the swimming pool
noisy and tiny room at first floor, very expensive breakfast (22 € pp), worn out furniture in the room, not worth its 5 stars
The view was amazing
Ordered a cheese platter and some of the pieces were not freshly cut
the staff was really helpful and the views from the restaurant was amazing. The room on the 5th floor was in desperate need for a "makeover" and very small.
Our room was located directly under the restaurant. One evening the loud music and dancing kept us up until 3am. none could help us or even tell us what time we could expect the noise to stop...by the way, we had travel plans very early the next morning.
The view from the top.
The staff was bad mannered without any consideration and rude all the time. They dont say Hello and are annoyed if you ask them anything. The bathroom is old and very, very dirty, with hairs from other guests and rust. The rooms are also very dirty with old furniture. The lamp is broken and it seems like nothing works as it should. In NO way is this a 5 star hotel, maybe a 2 star would fit it better. Dont go there! We travel a lot and we know what we are talking about!
Great location and fabulous view of the Acropolis especially at night.
The restaurant coupled with an excellent buffet breakfast with a view of the Acropolis was outstanding.
Wi-Fi was not user-friendly.
It's a good hotel at a good location.
I've stayed a dozen times and each of those times that I had booked through booking.com I was given one of their worst rooms. It seems they're trying to make a point there.
Excellent location. Full view of the acropolis.and the sea on a clear day. Walking distance from major tourist attractions, boutiques and excellent coffee shops and restaurants. Despite language barriers, the staff was helpful and friendly.
Excessive prices on the bar fridge and restaurant. The contents of the bar fridge should be included in the room price and not be charged for. Towels and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar not replaced daily.
