Stavros tou Notou is a traditional boutique hotel situated a few steps from the blue-flag beach of Mavrovouni in Githio. Combining Mani’s traditional architecture with today’s comforts, Stavros tou Notou offers tastefully styled rooms. All rooms have handmade furniture, large verandas with views of the sea. It was very clean. Staff was friendly. Location was quiet. Breakfast had a big variety for all tastes. Everything was fresh and delicious. No beach facilities like umbrellas and sunbeds. But ok it didnt ruin our holiday since we went a few metres down the road and found some umbrellas with sunbeds.

The location, direct at an empty beach, is superb. Ideal for those who prefer the quiet and swimming in the clearest water ever. The appartment with complete kitchen is large and has all it needs. The veranda lovely to enjoy the view and relax. Beautiful garden and nice outside terrace near the bar where excellent buffet breakfast can be enjoyed. Very friendly and helpful staff made our stay one we will not easy forget. Another plus: At walking distance you will find a lovely beach restaurant with the best fresh fish ever. In case this doesn't please you, Gythyo is on a 5 minutes drive distance and offers an ample choice of restaurants.

Perfect location on the beach, calm and quiet, very friendly staff, good breakfast, nice big rooms with kitchenette, great for exploring the Mani region. Nice tavernas nearby, and a short trip to Gythion if yoy fancy a bit of town life. Can`t be faulted.

The owners were extremely welcoming and provided a good buffet breakfast. The hotel had a very friendly feel to it and is very close to the beach. It also had covered parking.

The staff were very warm and welcoming. The hotel is simple and lovely with a view of the sea and mountains. A wonderful spot to get away. We hope to return again soon!

Ottima posizione, alla fine della bella e lunga spiaggia di Mavrouni, assolutamente tranquilla anche in Agosto. Hotel di piccole dimensioni, dalla piacevole architettura che ricorda le case tradizionali del Mani, con un bel giardino dove si può consumare la prima colazione. Molto gentile la padrona e le cameriere. Solo pochi minuti d'auto da Gythion e in ottima posizione per visitare il Mani, Mistras, Monemvassia e tutto ciò che di bello offre la Laconia. Peccato che nessuna camera abbia il box doccia (tutte le camere hanno la vasca con la tenda) e che il bagno fosse un pò piccolo. Nessun canale italiano nonostante la tv Sat. Venendo da Gythion, dovrebbero segnalare meglio la deviazione per l'albergo, che siamo riusciti a trovare solo dopo un pò di ricerche...

Chambre très agréable dans un cadre magnifique. Petit déjeuner aussi original que réussi. Très grande gentillesse et disponibilité des maîtres de maison. Une adresse excellente à tous points de vue.

Nous avons appécié la situation géographique, l'hôtel est situé près de la mer, le calme, l'hôtel est situé loin d'une route. L'hôtel manque d'entretien:lampes de chevet recollées avec du scotch, prises éléctriques qui se décrochent , nécessaire de petit déjeuné ( bouilloire ou casserole) inexistant, chaises de terrasse délabrées, lit très dur,moustiquaires cassées, volets des fenêtres bloqués. Logement à 2 niveaux peu fonctionnel.
