Stavros Villas

We stayed at the Stavros Villas in July for 3 nights. Even though it's not centrally located it's an easy 15 minute walk to Fira. You could easlily find your way back to the hotel even at night. The rooms were basic but clean. The shower was pretty big. Breakfast was served at 5 euros/person and it was good for the price. The owners of the hotel were kind and responsive. They provided free transportation from and to the port.

Absolutely wonderful hospitality, I felt at home

Location: it’s in the village of Katerados, which is some 20 min walk from Fira. Katerados is a nice little village, with quite a few choices of good-value family restaurants and minimarkets etc. There’s also a travel agent who can help with ferry schedule, local tours etc. Stavros Villa is a little bit outside of the village, a quiet and peaceful area, 10 min walk to centre of Katerados. Although it’s a little bit far from Fira, it’s easy to walk to, and we save on accommodation costs on hiring some wheels – you will get to see much more of the island and get around easier too. The rooms: we are given a two-room studio with three beds with a little electrical kitchenette which was useful for cooked breakfasts etc, and a small fridge. Overall speaking, the apartment is relatively basic but it’s very clean & comfortable. Everything worked – even good quality shower! From the villa’s balcony, you can see the sea and sunrise (if you can get up early enough!). The view from this place is actually Santorini’s east coast, Monolithos etc Services: Free internet in the reception is another plus, as well as airport pickups. Stavros is very helpful in terms of giving information about which restaurants in Katerados are good value, hiring cars, boat tours etc.

Just a bit far from Thira, but as i mentioned above, other benefits (tranquility, value for money, cost saving etc) compensate that.

Μου αρεσε πολυ η οικογενεια του Σταυρου, ειναι καλοι ανθρωποι, εξιπιρετικοι, παντα ετοιμοι να βοηθησου και να κανουν τα παντα για να περνας καλα και να εισαι καλα. Περασαμε τελεια και θα ξαναπαμε. Να μας περιμενεις. Δεσποινα & Εφη

Να παρει καθαριστρια που να ξεσκονιζει και να καθαριζει καλητερα.

El estudio/habitación estuvo bien ya que eran dos habitaciones que se comunicaban. Nuestra habitación tenía un balconcito individual donde podíamos tomar el desayuno y la cena que nosotros mismos nos preparábamos en la pequeña cocina que también tenía. La piscina les gustó muchos a mis hijos, estaba limpia y bien cuidada.

Unicamente que estaba al lado de la carretera que unía la costa con el pueblo de Karterados y pasaban muchos camiones (cubas) con agua y a veces resultaba un poco ruidoso.

La disponibiltà e la gentilezza dei proprietari che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa cercando di soddisfare le nostre esigenze. La pulizia delle camere è massima (cambio delle lenzuola ogni due giorni). L'arredamento è essenziale ma la presenza dell'angolo cottura permette delle belle cene sul terrazzo annesso con vista sul mare. La posizione è ottima a pochi Km dal caos notturno di Fira il che permette un riposo rigenerante, in generale è situato al centro dell'isola dunque gli spostamenti sono agevoli.

Manca l'asciugacapelli.

La amabilidad del sr. Starvos y que deja acceso a internet gratuito a los clientes. Además la ubicación es muy buena respecto de fira.

El lavabo.

Les photos ne représentait pas réellement l'hotel. Le propriètaire nous a expliqué qu'il avait 3 hotels donc les photos viennent des 3 hotels. La piscine était fermé ce qui n'était pas précisé.
