Pick up and drop off to the port
Charge a lot to rent scooter
- Very good value for money - Spatious rooms, large and comfortable bathroom - Polite personnel - Wifi that was working most of the time - Convenient location
- noisy in the morning because it is on the peripheral road of Paroikia, also rooms not very well sound-proofed - towels were not changed even after the 2nd day - towels very rough and uncomfortable to use - could be cleaner
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the apartments they were cleaned every day. The view from our balcony allowed us to watch the sunset over the sea every evening. The kitchen facilities were sufficient for our needs with sink, fridge (with small freezer compartment) and two ringed hob. Ideal for the odd meal in and breakfast. Restaurants, bars, shops and the beach were all within walking distance. Excellent place to stay.
The staff and location was excellent. They were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Views were great from the lobby.
We had the budget room which only had a fridge. We did not know that the budget room meant no kitchenette. There was also no wifi. But they were happy for us to use the wifi in the lobby.
Family run and warm welcome. Relatively near the port. Takes about 20 Mins on foot to centre downhill. Back a bit more as it is all uphill. Don't do it in the midday heat. Within walking distance (15 Mins) of a small, quiet and pretty bay with a beach hut restaurant with excellent food and nice service. We hired a car for the day to tour the island and found this essential to see Paros. The car war organised by Stratos. Very convenient.
Not all sea view rooms have the same sean view. Some rooms have partial sea view due to a building in front. This ought to be mentioned, I think when booking sea view. Cooking equipment was basic, although sufficient for very basic food prep (breakfast) and we were out all day.
Stratos and his family were just so wonderful they made our stay really nice. They picked and dropped us off the port. And it's well situated. Renting a car or bike was quite cheap.
The wifi is really poor.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Very nice, welcoming hosts. Everything was great, including a lift to the ferry at thecend of pur stay.
They picked us up and drove us back to the port.
Avoid the breakfast which was poor, tasteless and pricey (2slices of bread, a bad coffee and a powder orange juice). Not all of the staff was friendly. Promise of wifi in the basement room but did not work at all.
very polite staff, great views of the sunset
very friendly family run hotel…. could not do enough for you…….would defiantly come back
Nice staff and facilities, good views on higher levels and easy to get anywhere by foot, bus or scooter/quad rental on site.
Some more kitchen supplies would have been handy
Close to port, busses, shops, and quiet. Stunning views, family like welcome. I loved staying and will definitely return for a longer visit next year.!! Thank you very much, love Claudia from Germany :-)
Nothing to declare.
Everything, very friendly owners. A very nice place.
Apt only 10 mins walk round the lanes to town. Lovely apt with balcony overlooking the sea and in full view of the sunsets. Prettily furnished in typical blue and white with all facilities, anything that wasn't supplied could be borrowed. Family owned by pleasant helpful people.
Nothing to dislike.
I stayed at Stratos for 12 nights over the easter period. This well kept and spotlessly clean accomodation was just right for me. Lovely views across the bay slightly away from the main town and yet close to tavernas in the town for my evening meal. Also close to the bus station for getting around the island. The owners were really nice and helpful with lots of local information - they will pick you up at the ferry port and take you back for the very short trip. I had a really lovely time and can certainly recommend Stratos to those who love traditional greek hospitality.
Everything was wonderful. Excellent localization, view from room balcony. Good internet connection. Transportation to and from hotel. Excursions and rent of scooters and car is available at the hotel. Innkeeper and his wife was helpful and hospitable. Excellent place for holidays.
Nice to have a free shuttle to the ferry port. I stayed on the ground floor, 1st studio on the right, so had a nice view.
If you are a light sleeper, bring air plugs as the road passing the studios can be disturbing. If you come in the colder period, bring a hot water bottle along as only a very thin blanket is provided, so it is freezing in the evening. The aircon does not heat up the place efefctively. No carpets on the floor, very cold and sterile environment. Only a 2-plate for cooking, not a small stove as seen on pictures on Booking.com. No hair dryer. In the quiet season the restaurant is closed. Closest grocery store is more expensive than the bigger one in town that is cheaper and has more variety, so one needs a car. No tourist info provided.
