You are right in the middle of Mykonos Town. Close to the bars, windmill, harbour and bus station. The location can't be beat. Super convenient for getting around. Room had a fridge. The family who runs it are super nice. They will pick you up and drop you off at the port. Wifi works pretty well in the rooms. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. Someone cleaned our room even though we only stayed for two days The room we were in did not have any windows except for a small strange skylight. The bathroom was tiny - shower was just a raised square with no shower curtain. The room was tiny and smelled a bit dank. The room is nothing to write home about. Everything in Mykonos is expensive so I would consider this a decent place to stay for the price and location.

The location is good which is just a few minutes walk to litte Venice & the windmills. I would like to share our experience staying at Studio Eleni by mid Aug, 12 for 2 nights. We are a group of 4 ladies and placed our booking via website. When we arrived the rooms (at the house roof) after taking the luggages ourselves from a long steep staircase, we find our rooms were a small one with shared bathroom and toilet outside. Just 2 steps walked into the room and then reach the small bed. This is totally differ from our originally ordered from the web. I booked an apartment with 2 bedrooms with each room has its private bathroom and toilet. Actaully, it is our basic requirement, the toilet + bathrooms in our rooms!! However, we were only told on spot that this was re-arranged. The reason is the original apartment can be accommodated upto 5 persons. As we only have 4 persons, she assigned two bedrooms (but with shared one private bathroom + toilet) for us. Afterwards, we find discomfort grows as :- 1) two rooms have to share an air condition controller. As one room kept the controller. This lead to my friend (who slept in the other room without controller) caught the cold as the room temperature dropping at night. 2) two rooms shared a toilet key. We need to put the key somewhere outside at the roof floor for sharing in case we need to go to toilet during the night. Due to there was another room on the same roof (floor) with a guy drunk at night, we afraid to open the room window and door for security reason. In addition, it was windy during our stay that we cannot open the doors. This was the cause my friend caught the cold as only one air condition controller. Anyway, we just would like to point out that Studio Eleni should confirm us for the changes before our arrival. We still have time to find other place (if Eleni cannot provided) with our own basic requirement - have our private bathroom and toilet.

Once we figured out where we were, it was a great location, right in the center of the nightlife. Maria was very welcoming and did her best to get us everything we needed. The rooftop was also very nice (we saw the sunset AND sunrise). Maria provided transportation to and from the port. The steps leading up to the apartment were very steep, which was difficult for our luggage, but it became part of the experience. Also, there was no wireless internet in the room. The air-conditioner in our room was dripping so we had to change out the tub of water twice a day. The floor was wet. The kitchen stove did not get very warm, so Maria brought in a gas burner for us to use. It was very windy and the door to the roof kept banging throughout the night.

What more can I say, We paid a budged price for a premium service. Without requesting, Maria went to pick us up in airport and upgrade our 4 beds room to an apartment in city centre. The place was clean everyday during our absence. What I could see during our stay is that, Maria and her mother really try to make sure you are comfortable without pushing you in to get a good review. They have 20 houses around the city centre, I don’t know about the other but we got a good one and I totally recommended for family and friends that would like to have a more private place instead of hotel. A negative point is the water in the shower runs very weak, but it runs.

This studio is located exactly where you want it... In the center of Mykonos city, close to everything by foot (only a 2 minutes walk to the windmills). But the best, is that they come to pick you up at the airport or port, and they drop you at the airport or port. You don't need to rent a car or pay for a taxi... Only a 4 minutes walk to the bus station that brings you to the different beaches. This is a good spot for Mykonos city. Maria is really friendly and helpful.

Maria and her boyfriend Costas is very nice people. Very seldom you meet such a good host. I stayed at their other place clos to the airport,Villa Vassilis. They gave me a ride almost every day to the city if I were ready just that time. I recommend Marias apartments a lot. She is so friendly, she felt like my best friend. A big hug to Maria and her boyfriend! /Stefan

There are 3 things we liked about Studio Eleni: 1. The location is just perfect. It is in the heart of Mykonos town and the bars, restaurants, Little Italy, the windmills etc are all a 3-15 min walk. One could take the hourly buses to the Paradise Beach or any of the other beaches. I'm glad I didn't book a hotel by the beach instead. 2. Maria, the lady who runs the place is simply brilliant. She picked us and dropped us back to the port without any additional cost. Her mother, who takes charge when Maria is away and busy, is equally warm and helpful. You must know that we had to cut short out trip by one day because the ferry to Santorini (from Mykonos) had been cancelled due to bad weather on our planned day of departure. But Maria was sweet enough to refund half the price of the last day. 3. Value for money. The room, despite being small had all the basic amenities - air-conditioning, hot water, clean rooms, privacy. For EURO 45 a night, we couldn't have asked for anything better! We reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy miss Mykonos! 1. The wifi wasn't with its full signal strength inside our room. We had to get out of the room to have it in its full signal strength.

Maria, the manager of Studio Eleni, could not have been nicer and more accommodating. She picked us up from the airport and took us to the hotel. She was so friendly and immediately told us the best places to go to maximize our time and get the full Mykonos experience! The shower has no door and no place to hang the shower head.

I highly recommend Studio Eleni for anyone who is visiting Mykonos:) Our host was extremely friendly and helpful - She picked us up / dropped us off at the port, and was always available to help answer any questions we had. The place was clean and at the perfect location - Right next to the Windmills, perfect for catching the sunset at the Windmills and to walk Old Venice:) I'd definitely choose Studio Eleni again if I ever visit Mykonos again!
