The staff at the hotel are fantastic and really make the place. For the price it is good compared to many other places I've stayed in Greece for about the same cost. I have to say though that having read the reviews in advance of travelling I had extremely high expectations and so was disappointed on arrival. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is spotless, rooms are cleaned daily and towels and bedding changed and it is close to the centre of Lixouri. It's just that the rooms and balcony are really pretty small, the bathroom is still the pretty basic Greek style you see everywhere (albeit with a sliding shower door which you don't often get) and the decor is a couple of decades old which makes it look and feel pretty dated. It all works though and as the staff are so lovely I feel churlish for making any criticism, it's just that I felt that some of the other reviews had over-stated it a bit. Sorry.

The hotel is perfectly situated at the beach (red sand not white). 5 minute walk, and you`re in a busy street with various restaurants to choose from. I actually ate at the hotels restaurant most of the nights, the food is good and the prices even better. Also a supermarket across the street. The pool area is nice and quiet. Mostly people between 40-60 staying there when I visited, and a couple of families with children. When it comes to comfort, the beds are hard - also the pillows. But: The linens and towels are clean and smell nice. The rooms are also clean, I stayed in 309. Everyone working there is really serviceminded, they will go to great lenghts to make your stay a nice one. Make sure to rent a car - it`s not many buses to choose from, and taxi is actually expensive. Also make sure to check when there are boattrips from Argostoli before you take the ferry to Lixouri. I didn`t and really regret it. This beautiful island should be seen from a boat!

Great service, good value for money. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly A bit basic for my normal taste but based on price, no complaints. Bathroom/shower facilities would benefit from an upgrade.

La posizione. Purtroppo la camera era molto piccola ( si girava attorno al letto) ma soprattutto vecchia... Molto antica. Il bagno piccolo, scomodo. Non lo consiglio.

Lo staff era particolarmente disponibile e preparato.I Servizi dentro e fuori l'area dell'Hotel precisi ed efficenti. La posizione non era un gran chè, ma su quell'area I margini di miglioramento sono notevoli.
