The food was ok. The hotel and pool area was ok. The staff was nice.
Too much loud music all day and late in the evening. Too far from the beach.
Music was too loud on the pool area.
Staff were friendly and attentive a credit to their mentors
Entertainment not good but possibly didn't help that we did not speak French...Also got bitten second day possibly due to the wetland conservation area...great for wild life watchers though!
The staff is very kind and the atmosphere is very good. I recommend this hotel from the bottle of my heart.
Hotel room was very nice and comfortable, staff - very friendly, polite and ready to help. Nice pool and poolbar. The beach is 7 minutes walk thru wetland, in autumn it is dry and the views are amazing. Spa offered 50% discount :)
The food was pretty good, but didn't like the restaurant - looks untidy.
Poor drinks, poor food ,poor location.
The room was bright, comfy, with modern furniture. Nice balcony. Bathroom - clean and finished to a high standard. The hotel is relatively small so it's not a problem to if you forget your sunglasses. The pool nice and clean. Very positive impression.
The food was limited and not very tasty as in other hotels on the island. Evenings very noisy-loud music up to midnight (not good with babies)
The room was spacious and clean.
The staff were incredibly rude. The "reservation manager" was dressed like a slob & was very rude. The tv in the room was as big as a microwave. The all inclusive buffet was disgusting - I wouldn't feed that food to my dog. The pool was aged & the smell of chlorine overpowering. Loud music played late & penetrated walls. Due to its location away from main city it was difficult to catch a cab, always had to phone ahead & wait 10-15 mins in the hot sun. The poor attitude from staff left a bad taste in our mouths & we in fact left a day early forfeiting our 2nd paid night of accommodation. Kos is such a beautiful island but we couldn't get out of their quicker because of the treatment from the rude staff at Sun Palace.
Great location with large, comfy rooms. The staff are excellent and can't do enough for you. This is especially so in the restaurant where the staff work marvellously as an efficient, friendly, polite team. Didn't go down to the beach so can't say what the facilities were like there. Excellent holiday venue or for just a short break which is what we were on.
Can't really think of anything
Big family Rooms All inclusive
Music too loud in the night Some of the free Drinks are not of good quality (coffee or cola) Pebble beach a little bit far from hotel
staff esp. Stimatis Maitre d'hotel, cosy and peaceful environment
wifi not working well, rooms could be maintained better (AC, bathroom)
rooms are quite large. The staff in the restaurant (students) are trying their best as well as two ladies in the reception (but they are powerless in front of the poor situation elsewhere)
We had 3 family rooms and the review that follows is quite common to all. Long list: 1. they do not give towels for the pool. 2. Even repeated requests to bring toiletry are not responded and you finish by going to buy your own. 3. Level of cleaning - Zero. They do not make the rooms for days. One can see that since the renovation of the hotel (about 2010) never the Calcium in bathroom was cleaned. 4. Bathrooms were built strange: 4.a. The door cannot be closed (construction error never repaired). 4.b. No electricity for electric toothbrush or shaver. 5. About 1km from a stony sea shore (one can choose other hotels with sandy beaches). On the beach poor facilities. 6. Food: disgrace for the Greek famous kitchen. It was a common opinion also with other travelers we asked. 7. All Inclusive is exclusive many things. try and find the list of excluded things like the towels, billiard/pool table (tiny), table tennis (lowest quality, covered partly, no rackets of minimum decent level) etc. 8. Last and not least: if you come with children, except for the small swimming pool no other water entertainment.
Family room - great size, although 4 beds but only 2 robes and slippers Great service from hotel staff Seating around the pool, access to drinks at the bar Range of food options
Need to add name, description of food at buffet Better coffee available for lunch and dinner Guests reserving seating around pool More information about the hotel and other services, like bike hire, the beach area etc in a booklet in each room
Location, very close to the capital and night life. Comfortable room.
Value for money considering the "all inclusive" payment was rather poor: - The floss in the bathroom did not work and despite several requests to reception never got repaired - We were asked to pay money to use the safe box in the room - The pool bar did not serve water - One of the two central elevators was continuously out of order - The quality of the buffet was poor - The wifi signal in the room was very weak - When one of us got sick with stomach ache, we were told we needed to pay for a doctor to come
The room was large and clean with separate bathtub and shower.
Many things. First of all, the worst staff I've ever met. All are unkind and unresponsive to any request. The reception is legendary.even if there is no other customer, you have to wait for about 5 minutes just to receive an answer. The receptionist called Despina surely hates her job and therefore hates the customer. The hotel requests 30 € for just a 2-hours late check-out, which cannot be seen at such places. The hotel is so-called all inclusive. We never had lunch or dinner during our 4 days stay. If you dont have a taste or quality perception then its ok but literally the food is tasteless and very bad.Once we had breakfast, and that was all.we had to have them all in the town or beaches.so there is no need to be all inclusive if you are not able to serve tasty and quality food. Also after 11 pm, no drinks are served either, you have to pay or go to sleep. There is no nice beach close to hotel. There is one in 400 mt. away however there are much better beaches on the island, just rent a car and possibly do not stay here. The lowest level of serving and hospitality I experienced is here. I do not recommend to anyone and would not go there ever. Old comments about the hotel are not trustworthy.
room with view/good food for all inclusive/friendly staff
the beach/volume of the music at night/fair animation program/no snacks to order except the meals time/no local products in the meals esp. in breakfast
