Hotel Sunrise  

The staff / owners went out of their way for us. Even arranging red roses and french champagne in the room as a special treat for my daughter from her boyfriend back home. The offer to pick us up from the port and also drop us at the airport was a wonderful help.

Good room, lovely staff, good breakfast (juice, coffee, yoghourt, cake & toast). Ideal for touring as only few minutes from bus station. (We used is as an overnight stop in Thira each end of travelling by ferry to Naxos.) Real bonus of a pool.

I don't usually fill in comment cards but this one is totally deserving of it. The location of the hotel is fantastic, only a few minutes by foot to the downtown centre, bus station, taxis and the caldera. The staff were amazing even going to the trouble of picking us up from the airport on our arrival at 4 in the morning as well as paying for our taxi to return to the airport when we left. Breakfast was offered daily and was served so promptly. An outdoor pool was always clean and well maintained and offered an opportunity to see the housekeeping staff shuffling from room to room all day long - they sure did work hard, often spending time mopping the common area floors - my hat goes off to them. We had a private sunlight patio,TV,fridge, a good air conditioner, and free WiFi and it was all had for 50 Euros a day - you can't go wrong. I will stay there next time and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a budget hotel without having to give up a lot of amenities

Quiet location, very close to the bus station and the centre of town.

Don't take the breakfast option. It was extremely poor and the same one every day. It involved: toasted bread, honey, marmelade, butter, a cup of yoghurt, coffee and juice. (no fresh milk).

- It was close to the city center and the bus station. - There was free transportation from/to the airport. - There is always someone downstairs 24 hours a day - Swimming pool. - Plesant and helpfull staff. - Air conditioning - Economical In general I enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

A localização é muito boa. Um hotel simples, mas simpático, com as qualidades e deficiências de um 2 estrelas.

1 La situation géographique: accès au centre de Fira (Caldéra) en 5mn à pied (et loin de la circulation) en prenant le passage au dessus de la piscine. La gare routière à 300m. 2 La grande disponibilité du personnel et son amabilité. 3 La piscine très agréable 4 Les chambres autour de la piscine loin du bruit de la rue. 5 Le prix par rapport aux prestations.

Chambres pas très lumineuses et à l'équipement un peu ancien.

nos ha gustado mucho el hotel, sus habitaciones amplias limpias y confortables. el desayuno abundante y el personal muy amable y muy familiar. esta muy bien ubicado a pasos de la terminal de colectivos y a unas cuadras de los centros comerciales. para llegar al hotel hay un colectivo que sale desde vel puerto y te deja a media cuadra del hotel y ellos desues te llevan al puerto sin cargo. es para recomendarlo si vuelvo a santorini voy al hotel sunrise

Io e la mia ragazza siamo stati a Fira dal 31 agosto fino al 6 settembre, soggiornando in questo Hotel per tutta la durata del viaggio, e ne siamo rimasti veramente entusiasti! La posizione è ideale: si trova vicino al centro e alla stazione degli autobus e taxi; quindi bar, ristoranti, supermercati, negozi di Fira si trovano a 5 minuti di passeggiata; di fronte all’albergo si trova anche un noleggio di motorini o quad. Non affaccia sulla caldera, ma gli alberghi con vista hanno prezzi spropositati, al di fuori della nostra portata. La struttura è ben tenuta e pulita , cosi come le stanze che sono più che sufficientemente grandi e silenziose (almeno la nostra, che era proprio difronte la piscina); lenzuola e asciugamani sono stati cambiati tutti i giorni; gli arredi senza pretese, c’è sia l’aria condizionata che la televisione. La piscina è grande e pulita. La colazione, sempre la stessa, è la tipica intercontinentale, ma è più che abbondante. La reception è aperta anche di notte. Il personale è disponibile, simpatico e cordiale; l’ambiente è familiare e ci si sente subito a proprio agio. Sono venuti a prenderci all’aereoporto, e ci hanno riportato per la partenza. Ci hanno reso la vacanza comoda e agevole, e infatti colgo l’occasione per salutare tutti e ringraziarli nuovamente! Per coloro che vogliono visitare Santorini in pieno relax e senza spendere molto, consiglio vivamente di soggiornare presso questo Hotel, affittare un motorino per girare l’isola e le spiagge di giorno, per poi tornare in albergo nel tardo pomeriggio e raggiungere Fira a piedi, per godersi tramonto, cena e movida.

e' comodissimo in quanto è a due passi dalla stazione dei bus,dall'ospedale e dal centro;lo staff dell'hotel molto disponibile e per qualsiasi cosa è presente. la piscina molto pulita e tranquilla. colazione super.

la camera dava sulla strada principale e tutta la notte si sentono rumori,se si chiude la finestra il problema si risolve.

Vriendelijke en behulpzame leiding. Heerlijk zwembad. Onze kamer voor drie personen was verrassend ruim. Prima bedden. Prima airco. Schoon. Locatie prima vlakbij het busstation en het centrum en met een wasserij naast de deur. Aanrader!

Badkamer was wat minder luxe dan je zou verwachten voor die prijs (douchegordijn, weinig licht, harde handdoeken), maar dat wordt ruimschoots gecompenseerd door de ruimte van de kamer en de degelijke uitvoering van deuren, ramen en inrichting.

με τέτοια τιμή είναι η καλύτερη επιλογή. αν και δεν είχαμε αυτοκίνητο..ήταν κοντά στο κτελ και δεν είχαμε κανενα πρόβλημα. ο κύριος και η κυρία (δεν ξέρω τα ονόματά τους δυστυχώς..) ήταν καλοί και μας πρότειναν διάφορα. απολάψαμε μπάνιο στη πισίνα..και ήταν ίσυχη. αλλάζουν πετσέτες καθημερινά.!!!

Location was brilliant, just off the main square in Fira. They were so good in arranging our pick ups from and to the port and arranging the tour we took. Nice pool and spacious rooms.

Rooms are basic enough but clean, however the air conditioning is not included! That is extra, thankfully we survived without it. There were a few ants in our room that we sorted with some insect repellent. Breakfast was very basic....don't expect much but it's sufficient.

The hotel is located in a stragegic place in Thira, from where a parking is only 5 minutes away from the hotel, Bus station is also 5 minutes away. Accessibility to stores (Cleaners, food, rentals) is very easy and within walking distance. Except from the ideal location, the hotel has a view to sunrise and also it is clean and the people very friendly.
