Just 5 minutes from the center of Stalis and the beach, Sunshine offers self-catered accommodations with free Wi-Fi access and free parking. Sunshine Studios & Apartments are air conditioned and have a kitchenette with fridge. The private balconies offer excellent views of the lush grounds, the lively pool area and the mountains. During the day, guests can relax on one of the comfortably lounge chairs on the grounds, or have a swim in the large outdoor pool. Children can enjoy splashing around in their own section. Entertainment is provided on a weekly basis, with a barbecue night accompanied by traditional Greek and Cretan music and dancing. Those who would like to explore the areas of Agios Nikolaos and Heraklion can rent a car from the hotel or use the convenient bus service, next to the hotel. During the winter season, the hotel's staff organizes various events and outdoor activities, such as olive harvesting, bird watching, hiking, raki tour, Easter feast, Christmas and New Years feasts. We have stayed at these apartments now every year since they opened in 2006 and twice a year for the past 2 years. Manos,Kostas and family cannot do enough for you and they make everyone feel so welcome. Its nice to come back after a night dining and having a stroll, to the pool bar and have a nice relaxing drink and chat to the owners before going to bed. The rooms are clean and towels and bedding changed regularly by a very nice cleaner. Mano and Kostas must have it right as most of their guests keep coming back like us year after year.

The hotel is perfectly located just 2 minutes from the beach road and all the bars and restaurants and the beach itself. The apartments are set around a lovely pool and garden and is very quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful and the apartments clean and modern with free air conditioning. Free WiFi is available around the pool area, but we connected well from our balcony overlooking the pool. The owners offer a barbecue once a week which was great. Highly recommended.

It is located close to the beach and is neat and tidy. The pool is great for kids. The owner is friendly and tries to make the stay comfortable. It is empty during the off season and almost the entire town is closed down. It is likely a great place during the summer holiday season. But, with the cold weather, we were trapped indoors with no where to go.

Chambre propre et claire. Belle vue sur la piscine. Trop de bruit le soir avec le bar en face. Les clients font du bruit jusque tard dans la nuit. Il faudrait limiter à minuit l'ouverture du bar.

Super hotel met zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. 50 meter van de hoofd straat in een zij straatje, je hebt dus geen last van lawaai etc.

Fantastic location, close to the beach and with excellent connection (streets, public transports) to the main attraction of Crete! Very kind staff The curtain did not block sunlight at all (and Crete is very sunny, from quite early in the morning), so we advise to carry with you a sleeping mask! No box/curtain in the shower.

The location in Stalis. When we arrived in the apartments we were taken to a room on the ground floor. Firstly when booking we had specifically requested a double bed, but our room consisted of 2 single bed. We asked the manager to be moved to a room with a double bed only to be told that all the studios and apartments consisted of single beds, despite the pictures on booking and the hotels website showing pictures of double beds. The view from our ground floor room was a view of people bathing at the pool, who could all see clearly into our room, we had to keep the curtains drawn whenever we were in there. The bed sheets were stained, and throughout our stay the sheets were never changed and the towels were changed only once. The staff didn't really seem interested in talking to us. On returning home we found that we had been charged twice by the hotel, currently waiting for the mistake to be rectified. Would love to return to Stalis but never to this establishment.

sehr gute Lage (sehr ruhig, aber in Zentrumsnähe von Stalis), ausgesprochen nette Mitarbeiter, sehr zuvorkommend, saubere Anlage (alles relativ neu), familiäre Atmosphäre, Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut! jederzeit wieder...
